Please make sure that you have updated the Theme properly and also the Parent Theme is activated on your site, if not then please activate the Parent Theme on your site and then check after removing the cache hope you will not find this issue, This issue mostly occurs when you Customize the Theme using Child Theme and the child Theme is active on the site, and if in case you are getting these warning with the Parent Theme activate then please go to WooCommerce >> Status and make sure that you are using the latest version of WooCommerce plugin and the WooCommerce database is updated with the same version as WooCommerce if not then please update it and check your site after removing the cache hope you will not find an issue and if yes then please contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check and solve it for you.

It looks like the CSS completely changes on different platforms. For instance its how it should be on mobile, windows desktop. However, its completely different on apple mac.

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest version of the Theme and Plugins and if not then please update it and then please make sure to check/test the Theme on latest Safari version 11+ on Mac, because latest bootstrap and CSS has some new standards which Safari for MAC older versions not follow and destroy the design of the site.

Without child theme interference, since the last theme (4.8.5) and woocommerce (3.5.2) updates:

Please make sure that you have also updated the WooCommerce plugin as well.

Please edit your homepage and scroll below to the bottom you will find Porto Modal Box element like showing in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HAmqYgB.png so that modal box is generated using that Modal Box Element and the styling and Background image is being set for it via Custom CSS you will find in the Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS as showing in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HAmsBWL.png & https://pasteboard.co/HAmt6lU.png

If you want to remove the Pop-Up, just simply delete the Porto Modal Box element.

Today I updated your theme to the latest version. After updating your theme to the latest version, 2 things happened;

1) “Welcome Message” at top header is not showing up in mobile devices like iPhone, Samsung and etc. The “welcome message” at top header is showing up in web browser on computer, but it’s not showing in mobile devices. Can you please help me fix this?

Is it possible to send an automatic repsonse email whenever the user fill and send the newsletter subscribtion?

Sorry to say that but this is not possible as we have used Contact Form 7 for setting the email subscription field in the newsletter subscription pop up and it has no option foe sending automatic email, You have to use any third party plugin for that for achieving your needs.

Please go to WP-Dashboard >> WooComerce >> Setting and click on the Customizer link, it will take you to the WooCommerce Customizer and there you will find WooCommerce Option so go to WooCommerce >> Product Catalog and you will find an option “Shop Page Display” set it as Categories and Products and save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

Everytime the same issue when i want to update porto theme… Now all woocommerce products are not showing except 1

every time an update is pushed, there are so many new issues and i after hours of trouble shooting i’m not able to fix anything… + i’m not going to involve and purchase extra support every time i need to update the theme…

We’re sorry to hear that you had a trouble with Porto. But please understand that there can be some conflicts between new version update and your own customization. It’s same for all developers that we should do something when Wordpress generates new version release. We always work hard to improve Porto and add new features. If we did not do add any more features into Porto, just leave as it was before, you would face no issues. Again, it’s same for us, all authors should update theme engines when wordpress releases new version, any themes can not go smooth with such update while there were massive updates. With same meaning, customers may need some works when new theme version is released with massive update. I did not do any customization. i started from a demo and moved on with that.

Updated as previously… -> Upload Zip to Cpanel File manager and extract it after backing up old theme -> Save theme options after that to make menu working again -> Update all plugins and WP

The issue you are facing is because of the PHP version, Your site is using the PHP version below 5.6 which is not compatible with the theme so you have to change the PHP version of your site to minimum 5.6 and also please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest theme minimum requirements as given in the theme documentation here: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/ And please try to upload the theme via Cpanel again as showing in the Complete Video Installation Guide of WordPress here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6mqyuDF4GY&feature=youtu.be

Please make sure that you have been activated the Parent Theme on your site, If not then please activate Parent Theme on your site and check your site after removing the browser cache, It mostly occurs because of the Child Theme Customization, as you may have old templates in your Child Theme.

Please also make sure that the plugin is also updated on your site and if not then please update the plugin first.

Hello, is there a way to stop main menu expanding a little for a second then settling down when a link is clicked. This happens with a clean install of the theme with shop demo 13 main menu. It is quite annoying when the menu wobbles. Thank you

Thank you for very fast response. I have added the css code but it made no difference. May be you’ve misunderstood the problem. Clicking on a main menu link menu width expands at page load, then shrinks back to intended style after page load. I have checked all other porto demos on themeforest, they all have this problem. Menu wobbles after clicking a link. any other thoughts? In waht sequence the css files are loaded for front end please?

It is fixed now by disabling Skin>Typhography>Enable Web Font Loader for Google Fonts . Do I need that enabled for the theme to use Oswald and Open Sans fonts?

Please go to Porto >> Theme License and deactivate the License from the Theme by clicking on the deactivate button and then again activate the Theme with the same purchase code then go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and update the WP Bakery plugin from there, hope you will not find an issue.

This issue mostly occurs because of 2 reasons, CURL is disabled or server restriction.

Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.

Or

The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme. Otherwise please try test the theme on any live test/server which has no restriction hope you will not find an issue.

I added some social tracking code js into the theme javascript area in the theme options and it has crashed my site. Where is the phpmyadmin field for where that javascript text is stored?

It’s stored in the database, within the wp_posts table, under the custom_js post type, where the post name is the theme slug. There you also have the related customize_changeset and revision post types.

The custom js post ID is also stored in the wp_options table under each theme mods, e.g. theme_mods_porto for Porto.

Hello.. I am trying to use the porto modal box to show my terms & conditions in a popup but it seems like it does not use line breaks etc. correctly. Any text like below is displayed in one line and if i use
they are removed after saving.

Have you tested it with the default WP Bakery Text Block Element ?? If no then please check, you will find the same behavior, and this is the default functionality of the WP Bakery, It does not save line break.

Hello.. Yes i have tested texblock and also tested lightbox, both works perfectly fine and display in frontend exactly as written in. But modal box does not, it does not display linebreaks etc in frontend so text get messed up.

Hello, I’ve been using your theme to build my site and so far it’s been a good experience. I do have a couple of questions and issues that I’d like your help with.

The three questions I have are, does the skin support any sort of social login by default? Does it have a “thank you” page template for after purchase? Does it have a “cookie popup” option somewhere in the settings? Bascally, are this elements present in the skin somewhere, or are separate plugins required for all these functions?

Also, I’m having some trouble implementing a responsive Porto Interactive Banner. The mobile version doesn’t seem to scale text properly. Is there any code that I can insert to rectify this?

1. Sorry to say that but there is no option in the Theme for Social Login feature, so you have to use any third party plugin for this but at your own risk because it is clearly written on the item support page that we do not provide support for any third party plugin issue.

2. As you know that we have used WooCommerce plugin in the Theme and WooCommerce has its default functionality of Thank You Page after making an order.

3. Again sorry to say that but there is no option in the Theme for cookie pop up feature, so you have to use any third party plugin for this as well.

4. Yes, we have used simple Custom CSS and Custom JavaScript to making the Porto InterActive Banner Responsive, so please contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will set it for you on your site.
