I just updated to your latest update version.. and I’m getting:
Your theme (Porto Child Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this: Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

Please make sure that you have been activated the Parent Theme on your site, If not then please activate Parent Theme on your site and check your site after removing the browser cache, It mostly occurs because of the Child Theme Customization, as you may have old templates in your Child Theme.
Please also make sure that the plugin is also updated on your site and if not then please update the plugin first.

Hello, is there a way to stop main menu expanding a little for a second then settling down when a link is clicked. This happens with a clean install of the theme with shop demo 13 main menu. It is quite annoying when the menu wobbles. Thank you

Your menu is big and you have to set this CSS which as standard is set to -2000px. Add this new with -3000px and your problem will solve.
Please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check your site after removing the browser cache.

Thank you for very fast response. I have added the css code but it made no difference. May be you’ve misunderstood the problem. Clicking on a main menu link menu width expands at page load, then shrinks back to intended style after page load. I have checked all other porto demos on themeforest, they all have this problem. Menu wobbles after clicking a link. any other thoughts? In waht sequence the css files are loaded for front end please?
It is fixed now by disabling Skin>Typhography>Enable Web Font Loader for Google Fonts . Do I need that enabled for the theme to use Oswald and Open Sans fonts?

Please go to Porto >> Theme License and deactivate the License from the Theme by clicking on the deactivate button and then again activate the Theme with the same purchase code then go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and update the WP Bakery plugin from there, hope you will not find an issue.

This issue mostly occurs because of 2 reasons, CURL is disabled or server restriction.
Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.
Or
The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme. Otherwise please try test the theme on any live test/server which has no restriction hope you will not find an issue.

It’s stored in the database, within the wp_posts table, under the custom_js post type, where the post name is the theme slug. There you also have the related customize_changeset and revision post types.
The custom js post ID is also stored in the wp_options table under each theme mods, e.g. theme_mods_porto for Porto.

Can you provide some assistance with this.. I’ve checked these tables and do not see anything for custom_js.. custom_css is the last one i see alphabetically… the error i see on the theme options page is:

Hello.. I am trying to use the porto modal box to show my terms & conditions in a popup but it seems like it does not use line breaks etc. correctly. Any text like below is displayed in one line and if i use
they are removed after saving.

Have you tested it with the default WP Bakery Text Block Element ?? If no then please check, you will find the same behavior, and this is the default functionality of the WP Bakery, It does not save line break.

Hello.. Yes i have tested texblock and also tested lightbox, both works perfectly fine and display in frontend exactly as written in. But modal box does not, it does not display linebreaks etc in frontend so text get messed up.
Hello, I’ve been using your theme to build my site and so far it’s been a good experience. I do have a couple of questions and issues that I’d like your help with.
The three questions I have are, does the skin support any sort of social login by default? Does it have a “thank you” page template for after purchase? Does it have a “cookie popup” option somewhere in the settings? Bascally, are this elements present in the skin somewhere, or are separate plugins required for all these functions?
Also, I’m having some trouble implementing a responsive Porto Interactive Banner. The mobile version doesn’t seem to scale text properly. Is there any code that I can insert to rectify this?

1. Sorry to say that but there is no option in the Theme for Social Login feature, so you have to use any third party plugin for this but at your own risk because it is clearly written on the item support page that we do not provide support for any third party plugin issue.
2. As you know that we have used WooCommerce plugin in the Theme and WooCommerce has its default functionality of Thank You Page after making an order.
3. Again sorry to say that but there is no option in the Theme for cookie pop up feature, so you have to use any third party plugin for this as well.
4. Yes, we have used simple Custom CSS and Custom JavaScript to making the Porto InterActive Banner Responsive, so please contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will set it for you on your site.

Constant updates…every 4 or 5 days another update…usually to fix the bugs in the previous update…i have to back up my site, do the update, fix all the things the update ruined…update again…more updates…seriously you do not need to update this 30 times a year FFS

Sorry for the inconvenience, but as you know that there are some plugins in the theme which are required and recommended ones like WP bakery and WooCommerce and Slider Revolution etc, and they all updated their plugin almost 10 times with in last 3 months, so when ever the plugins are updated we have to update the theme for making it compatible with the plugins, and as you know that we have introduced a brand new feature Header Builder in our latest release so when we released it some customers dis-like it then we again have to update the theme and included both theme options panels as well and like this some time we have to fix some minor issues so for that we have to update the theme and we update the theme because of you, we do not want you and any customer face any theme issue so that is the reason we update the theme, hope you can understand now.

Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

With useless response telling me that it works on Chrome desktop! I already said it works on Chrome desktop!! I did respond to all in support, they took a long time to respond and now they’re coming back and saying we have a CDN and caching turned on, they’ve turned off the caching and we don’t use a CDN… The problem still exists and I see other customers reporting it too… So someone needs to take this a bit more seriously and get this fixed… Your support in the past has been a lot better, right now it’s awful…!!!

I just upgrade to newest version and shopping cart button on mobile on header isn’t showing the drop down cart now when clicked, also on mobile and desktop on the my cart page the discount code doesn’t let you enter a discount code when you click the drop down arrow to enter code. I just reverted to V4.8.3 using shop 14 and the main header cart button is working on mobile now but the discount code are is still not working.
ok I’m still on v4.8.3 but I switched the cart on theme settings to V1 cart style and now the discount code box is working and again the header cart drop down is working on v.4.8.3 . also I write these comments in here so other Porto owners who are smart like me search the comments for help since support is super busy helping the people who refuse to search or find solutions to solve issues.
