In the Salient options panel > header navigation > transparency tab, make sure you have the option enabled for “permanent transparent header”. Then in your pages, you would need to turn off the “Fullscreen rows” option in the page full screen rows metabox. When that option is in the use, there’s no option for a mobile transparent header.

If you’re only using one row and need that to be fullscreen, simply use the option directly inside of each row in the page builder for “full height row”

Hey .. thanks for answering. It doesn’t help me with the white border on iOS though. When opening the page on iOS, the top white border is constant and I cant get it to do fullscreen – both top and button “Safari” bars are constant. I would highly appreciate help to solve this. Thanks in advance..

Hey dmdi, on pages that are not using the “page full screen rows” option the header remains transparent without any BG color: https://ibb.co/w6tjxDs -it appears on your home page you’re still using that option (page full screen rows) so the header will not be transparent

I have no idea how you got that Screendump to look like that. When I load it on an iOS device, I have a white border on top – both vertical and horizontal. What you are suggesting in your initial post, will turn the pages into several pages and mess everything up. If the border was black, I could perhaps live with it. You wouldn’t be able to direct me to some tutorial or something? I find it hard to make sense of it.

Update: I must confess, I have no idea what I’m doing. Whatever change I make doesn’t seem to have the effect I’m looking for and it differs from page to page somehow. So just to clarify. Here’s what I would like to achieve: Full page content on all pages. No scrolling. All centered. No header – except for the logo, which directs back to the frontpage.

Is this do-able? If so, how…?

1. When using the page full screen rows option there’s currently no option to make the header transparent on mobile. You would need to disable that option to take advantage of the “Header Permanent Transparent” option in the Salient options panel > header navigation > transparent header effect tab

2. When using the split line heading element, the line breaks you specify will be there on every viewport at the same location. Therefore you would need to reduce the size of your heading tag further in the Salient options panel > typography > responsive settings tab for the viewports that it’s splitting oddly

3. I’m not seeing a slider on the page http://www.nyskaparna.se/ideella/ are you referring to the BG image on the row with the text Idéburen verksamhet?

4. You can use the “Project except” field in each of your projects to specify custom text to display instead of the default date https://ibb.co/y49qPZZ

5. You would need to remove the social shortcode that’s currently there and use the icon shortcode instead https://ibb.co/FXP0wnr which would need to be wrapped in an html anchor tag

6. That field is located in the Salient options panel > header navigation > off canvas navigation tab

However, in any case on or off, the space between rows differs, making the heading look cramped where there are for instance h2. The first one looks as it should, but not the other (ideella). Also, how can we prevent so that if I create new pages, the same problem occur?

7. You missed this one it looks like: The copyright in the footer still breaks into two rows on Samsung Galaxy, but not iPhone.

8. Still the same problem with the logo on mobile phone (tried both Samsung Galaxy and iPhone).

8. I just logged back in and could see that the starting dark logos were not set in the options panel, that I had previously set last time. We might have been editing the theme options at the same time and my changes were overridden. It’s set again now and it should display as expected on mobile

This one is new: I don’t seem to be able to do update to latest theme version and my editor is no longer visual (text or code for pages etcetera). Where did the visual editor go?

In order to have the megamenu remove the header transparency when hovered, ensure in the Salient options panel > header navigation > dropdown/megamenu tab that you have the option enabled for “Megamenu Removes Transparent Header”. If you already do, please share your actual URL so I can take a look in regards

Thanks for the quick help – did not see the option yet. How about the complete menu: is it possible to have a solid background when hovering a transparent header, just as the megamenu is doing now? jQuery addClass / removeClass is not working since it’s also adjusting the fixed (scroll) menu.
