Is the legacy Jupiter 6 already compatible with wordpress 5.0/Gutenberg? The visual composer has disappeared…
Hi
Yes, it’s compatible if you install the Classic Editor. When you install this plugin you could use Wordpress 5 like the before version 4.9.
In case you have any problems please create a support ticket:
I’m a long time Jupiter user (have 50+ sites built with Jupiter), but JupiterX is just not a step in the right direction for me.
Consider supporting Jupiter v6 as a separate theme – then you can go in whatever direction you want with Elementor and JupiterX.
There’s too many people invested in your theme (ugh, switching page builders, without backwards support? seriously?) to make such a breaking change under the same banner.
There is a misunderstanding here
Jupiter 6 won’t go anywhere. We will release constant updates and support for Jupiter 6 as we do for Jupiter X.
Jupiter X is just an alternative but you can opt to continue using Jupiter 6 for years.
Hope this helps to eliminate the confusion.
After upgrading to WordPress 5.0, I lost the POST OPTIONS.
Hi
In Wordpress 5 and Jupiter 6.1.6 the post options is available. Please check my screenshot:

I am talking about Jupiter X 1.0.1
Sorry for any inconvenience. It’s the same for Jupiter X. Please check my screenshot:

I understand new tech and giving folks the best possible, but you couldn’t have launched another theme with this stuff? For anyone that uses this for clients, and a handful of clients….you’re so screwed.
I’ve been a subscriber to them since 2013, in those 5 years we have had over 20 clients on this theme, so far roughly half tell us they have to move on as the cost to migrate their sites is too much.
Absolute disaster for our company. Thanks for not thinking about long time clients.
I think there is a misunderstanding here
We never said Jupiter 6 is deprecated or anything like that. You can keep using Jupiter 6 as we will provide constant updates and support for years to come. Jupiter X is just an option you can choose as an alternative. It’s like buying 2 themes with the price of one
There is no need to be worried about. I hope this eliminates the confusion.
Elementor is frozed loading, can you help me?
Hi
Please create a new support ticket, our support team will help and fix it for you:
Hey! do i realy need to buy elementor pro for edit custom css? Or i just don`t see it? In older version with WP Bakery we have no need to buy something to edit custom css.
No you don’t need to buy Elementor pro for that feature. We are soon releasing a feature so you can use it just like you did in WPbakery.
thank you for reply
You’re welcome

hi, i just installed jupiter x and jupiter x child, i installed both and started working with jupiter x child is that right or should i click again on “activate” besides “jupiterX” theme ? 2) demo content does not contain all demos as shown in themeforest, in shop category there is only 4 demos ! ? where can i find other shop demos ? 3) can you please add more shop template because there is litteraly no good shop template ? they are all like for fashion or models or photographers ! and far away from real modern shops !
please can you replay on more questions ? 4) in System Status i see my site urls in RED color, is that right ? for example themeforest.net in red color and all other subdomains in red too. 5)in System Status i also see other things and X red mark besides : WP Multisite, WP Debug Mode, Localhost Environment, PHP Display Errors, is this right ? should i do something about it ? i checked the server requirements page and i couldn’t figure out anything to solve this.
Hi
1 – Child Theme:
a – You should install the Jupiter X main theme.
b – Upload and install the Jupiter X child theme and activate it. It’s the right way.
2 – Templates:
We’ll add more shop templates to Jupiter X template directory as soon as possible, we’re working on new templates and we’ll add them very soon.
System Status
That’s fine, it just shows them in red color it doesn’t mean alert or any issues.
X red mark:
The red X icon just shows that options is disabled on your site, for example as you mentioned, when you’re on a normal site, it shows the red X button for “WP Multisite”. Or if you work on your live version it shows this icon for the “Localhost ” item.
Finally, you don’t need to pay attention to it for these items.
Will Jupiter6 work with the new WP5 that is about to be released? I am especially not happy to hear that you will be retiring Jupiter after I just finished a lengthy build for a client. I would not have purchased this theme had I known it was about to be discontinued.
Hi
Yes, you could use the WP Bakery (Visual Composer) page builder with Jupiter 6.1.6 by installing the Classic Editor plugin.
Jupiter 6 is never retired and we will provide support and constant updates for years to come. Jupiter X is just an alternative you can use. It’s like buying two themes with the price of one. There is nothing to be worried about.
You can keep using Jupiter safely.
Jupiter X theme is NOT compatible with Elementor Pro. The Footer disappears upon activating Elementor Pro.

Hi, i have a new customer using Jupiter 4.1.1 (VC) and i suggest him to upgrade it to the last version. His support has expired long ago, how proceed? I have understood that the new Jupiter ver. is using Elementor: The current website content (Visual builder) can be somehow preserved ? Many thanks – Federico
Hi
You could update your theme to Jupiter 6.1.6 or Jupiter X. At the moment, if you update your theme to Jupiter X you should rebuild you pages with Elementor Plugin. But we’ll add a new tool to keep your VC pages in Jupiter X.
Hey Although Elementor (Jupiter X based on) is good but in the source code it is all wrapped up with tags ” Elementor” everywhere. Alert: if you already have clients this can cause issue as searchin elementor on google brings up Free tool which can lead to further problems in explaining.
Thanks
updating the theme from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 causes display errors. The jupiter control panel just shows text with no UI.
It is a file restriction and you may need to reset your file settings to make sure they have proper permission to load. If you check the browser console, you will see the errors on static assets and it’s because due to the extraction, your web host didn’t allow it to have the correct permission.

Never Mind my comment. Please Delete. I found out my problem.
Glad to hear that
SO Awesome you joined forces with Elementor!! Curious if mobile view parallax image options style is available now? Demo imports are individual and do images come with imports? Looking at buying a new copy!
Hi and thanks for your feedback! Yes it does. And demo imports will also come with the individual images If you AGREE on importing the media with it. No worries.
Hi, installed JupiterX (via ftp .zip files) and get an error message in the theme section:
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete.
__MACOSX Stylesheet is missing. (with an option to delete it)
Should I delete it? is something misssing in the theme files? Or is this a server issue?
Please advise. Thanks.
Hi
You just need to install the jupiter-x.zip file. Please make sure you have extracted the main jupiter zip package. After that, please just upload the jupiter-x.zip file to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes
In case you did correctly and have issue, please create a support ticket:
I just installed x for a new client and I can’t find among your templates a demo one that has everything as you had with the regular Jupiter. These 70 templates are really skinny with data that appears to have been done in a rush to get this out. I don’t want to install a skinny and then have problems changing menus or other pieces.

I too have a ton on clients 50 or more on Jupiter, I was told a couple weeks ago that you would support Jupiter for 3 years not 2 and …that you would have an option for Visual Composer we did change over so we would not be totally screwed on the change over .. or a way to convert. Is there a way to just buy VC and use it with Jupiter, but … I have used so many of your special features such as “Sections” and “Fancy Titles” ... I am really anxious as I can’t redo 50 sites, Some with 50 to 100 pages! That is hundreds of hours of work especially when my work is very unique, color and text and images.
You may be shooting your self in the foot by not maintaining the basic Jupiter which is such a great template, especially if you can’t come up with fixes for all us who are more advanced design developers.
Hi Janet,
Such template is still not provided, that’s true. But within this week, you will see 150 templates instead of 70 which also passed some more tests for the sake of quality.
Regarding the migration, It’s true that WPB still not provided for Jupiter X but we rescheduled its release date and I can say it will be out way sooner that it supposed to be. By the way, we will still update Jupiter for more 3 years, so no need to upgrade Jupiter to Jupiter X for all of your clients together.

I think there is a misunderstanding here
Jupiter X is just an option along with Jupiter 6. We will release constant updates and provide quality support for Jupiter 6. In fact nothing changed about Jupiter 6. You can safely keep using it for your clients. Nothing to be worried about
hello, we have a license under our commercial account. But this key was not accepted then impossible to update the theme

Just regarding Jupiter X – we have a license under our business account – So say we upgrade from Jupiter 6 to X – activation wise, will there be conflict or how does one do that.
Hi
I’m not sure got your mean correctly(sorry for this), but you could install and use Jupiter X on your current Jupiter 6 and don’t need to buy a new license. After upgrading to Jupiter X you should recreate your pages with Elementor Page builder.
Please read the below article:
