OK, So what is your suggestion to changing this on my own? you would think it would be an option given that the Post type Portfolio could apply differently even when installing some of your template demos ( like Construction), right. So if you did use the Construction theme demo install, do you think it makes since to force the meta type ( which has a crucial filtering funciton for your theme) would apply to a Construction project if I were to change Portfolio Post type to Project. and Change Skill to Project Material Used? see how giving your customers the option to change one post type to whatever they want, yet unable to change another function meta type, is somewhat silly?

please provide a work around solution for where I can change this Skill title property in the theme.php. I am sure most all of your customers have been wondering the same thing as well so while you are working to build that into future theme update releases, tell everyone ( not just those who have the paid support) where and how to update this. because your documentation is sub par with this instruction. This should be a free and public support answer you should share to everyone on this comment thread because it was a missed calculation on error on your dev team to leave this part out.

If you want to change the only word Skills for portfolio then you can easily cahgne it in the theme default language files or you should edit those files (with Line numbers) and change the skills word:

Hi there, Thanks for the reply on here. Please do not get me wrong. Porto is by far the very best theme for Woocommerce. Excellent support and I recommend it to all my clients. All I am saying is this update should rather have been a 5.0 as massive changes and plenty of things not working on you update… i.e. Header with opacity does not work over Revolution Slider. Wide width with right sidebar does not work anymore etc. From what I discovered today there is some great improvements and really like the sticky/floating add to cart section. I merely suggest that those planning to do the update should update one site at a time and ensure they have time to fix what needs to be fixed after updating. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Thanks for your Love for Porto and appreciation for the Support Team, we really care about all our Customers suggestions and queries, and regarding “Header with opacity does not work over Revolution Slider” so I have just tested it at my end with the latest Theme and it works perfectly fine at my end it must be the cache issue at your end nothing else, and regarding “Wide width with right sidebar does not work”, we are sorry for the inconvenience, we have already tested/reported this to the development department and the development department is working on the new Theme update and soon you will find the new Theme update in which you will find it resolved.

Yes, the plugins are not working because of you have not activated the Porto theme on the test site. Please install the theme on the localhost and import the demo on the site, you can activate the theme on the local host many times easily.

Sorry to say that but Search Result Page is coming from default WordPress pages and you can not Customize its layout directly using Theme Options, Its layout works on the particular Search Content Type that you have selected from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form. Like if you choose Search Content Type as product and you are using the layout of the shop page as sidebar layout then search result page will also work with the same layout as the shop page. So you have to change it as per your requirements using Custom CSS.

Actually, the search page is coming from the YITH AJAX Search plugin not from the theme files. If you want to change the layout of the search page result then you have to edit the search.php file and add the new layout in the search.php file. As you can see that we have added the search page layout same the custom post types layout selected from Theme Options. For example, if you set the Search post type as a post then the search result page get the layout of the blog archive page layout from Theme options. SO you have to create the layout inside the search.php file. Also, you have to make the changes in the wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/layout.php file inside the porto_search_form function.

To change the price of a product in WooCommerce:

First, log into your WordPress Dashboard.
Next, from the navigation menu on the left, click the Products link.
Choose the product you wish to edit.
In the Product Data panel, select the General tab.
Update the Regular Price field or Sale Price field with a number.
That’s it! Save your changes.

1. You can use any import plugin to import the bulk products in your site. WP all Import plugin is the best.

2. You can use any 3rd party plugin for this functionality at your own risk, we have never tested any plugin like that to integrate the payment gateway ccavenue / payu.

3. You can remove this from Edit the Home Page >> Remove the Modal box VC element from the page and save it.

Yes you can turn the Search ON into sticky header from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Sticky Header as showing in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HX7bL7x.png
but remember as clearly written in the screenshot that the option will only work when you are using Header Type 1,4,9,13,14 or header Builder header.
