Hi guys. I know this probably isn’t going to go over well but I have to say something. I did buy this theme but I cringe every time I consider using it. I weighed functionality over aesthetic design and had to decide if it was more work to make something look good or to get it to function the way I needed. In the end, I figured I’ll have to invest the time into styling as it’s probably less work.
But every time I look at this theme, I can’t understand why it’s so popular except that it’s very diverse and well-developed. It’s just not pretty. At all. Some of your headers are so light and the font so tiny, you can’t even see them. Your sidebars are just plain headings (with a condensed font I can’t wait to change) with no styling at all.
Maybe this is your intent…to provide a blank canvas that people can design any way they want. If so, I get it. But it’s painful for me to see a few really beautifully designed themes and not be able to use them due to functionality.
That said, if you guys are going to take this theme to the next level, might I suggest working on styling a few pages for us to use as templates for landing pages, slick footers and sidebars, etc? It can take a very long time in Visual Composer using Ultimate Add Ons to get a slick-looking page. I’m bracing myself for a lot of work.
So I’m going to try this out again and see how it goes. It seems to be one of the most feature-rich and diverse themes for BP and from the reviews, it works well, so I will persevere. But I felt I just had to say something about the styling or it would keep eating at me.

Also, I like the side menu with the main menu toggle feature but if this is a BP template, why not have an option to show the user’s BP avatar instead of the menu icon and the side menu be their account info like messages, notifications, friends, etc? Doesn’t even make sense that the #1 selling BP theme of all time wouldn’t have a BP feature like this? Sorry, but there was so much bragging about how good this theme is, my expectations are high.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your opinion. Kleo was thought to be as you said a canvas and minimal design and in fact it is super compatible with lots of plugins. You are right and we are working on adding some fancy new templates and refactor some elements.
Right now you could render a sidebar in the Side-menu but it needs to be done with the VC shortcode as in the Theme options example http://7thqueen.com/public-files/gabi/2019-02-04-teahg.jpg
I will note it for the next updates to include a specific menu for this area so it is easier to achieve what you suggested.

Hello. I was hoping to improve the forum I have on my current site and am very interested in this plugin. I have 2 pre-sale questions I was hoping to resolve before purchase: 1) Can I integrate this as a forum within my current Wordpress site without completely changing/losing my current site (changing only the current forum)? In other words, can I keep this from overwriting my entire Wordpress website and confine it only to changes of the forum? 2) If it is possible to integrate this as a forum for my site, will I lose all forum data (posts, images, member information)?

I don’t know where the problem is, but the Facebook login/registration does not work from mobile browsers. It definitely works on Desktop, but shows error while trying to login with Android browsers.
The following error pops up :
URL blocked.This redirect failed because the URI is not whitelisted in the app’s client OAuth settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth login are on and add all your app domains as valid OAuth redirect URIs.
I have tried checking the facebook integration tutorial but i see that the facebook app page is now different from that of the one shown in the tutorial.
And also its working fine on desktop browsers. Can you guys pls help?

I have been using avada and I gave this theme a go… compering with avada importing demo sites is pain!!! avada is really good at this. compering to avada this theme is very clunky and complicated. its been 2 hours and I am still trying to import a demo site. with avada this is done in mins!!

We’re like to buy this theme immediately, but we have a few questions and will appreciate a fast response:
1. In the KLEO theme, have you provided us with the FREE version of the “Paid Memberships Pro” plugin or the other paid versions? If it is the free version you gave us in your theme, what features do we get in it? Please provide a list for clarity. We need several features but the main ones we really need are:
- Able to restrict some content from members/visitors unless they are paid members. Membership types will be arounf 3-5 types, they can view content based on package type they purchased. Payment options for membership needs to be recurring and also one time payment options.
- They can Donate (please explain how the donation works in KLEO theme and where/which page it shows up in)
2. Is the “Paid Memberships Pro” plugin only effective for registered members in the member and group areas? Or is it also required and applied in the Directory area also? If it is not required for the directory area, please kindly explain how payments are made by people who use directory area to publish a business.
3. Can Directory submissions be free too if we decide to give one partocular package free to all users? Or can it only be a paid facility?
4. We’re trying to use this type for something similar to a charity organisation, so it means we need to edit the words and terms used in some of the theme, for some areas only. Can you help us with this? For example, in the directory part, we may not need opening times, tel number etc for each busines listing, etc.
5. When you perform a search with the general WP search on the site, will it search posts, directory and members? Or only specific areas?
6. After a user submits a business in the direcotory part of the site, does the administrator have the option to set it to that he the administrator can check it and approve it before it goes live?
7. The social media sharing for the business directory in your demo shows only Twitter and G+, does the actual theme provide more social links for each business?
8. Are users of Busines Directory + Social Members in your theme store seperately inside the admin area?
9. In the business directory, business wo are rated with yellow ‘stars’ feature + those who get more lives fia the heart shaped ‘favourite’ feature, do you collect this information also in the admin area? To enable the administrator know the most favourited business and the business with highest star rating?
10. If a user is already a member (paid member of free member), do they need to register for another account if they if they ned to post their business in the business directory? And can they post more than one business in the directory under their account?
11. Our plan is to use mainly the following section in one website:
- Buddy Press Profile - Community - Business Directory - Shop - Blog - Portfolio Kindly confirm if the KLEO theme allows us to upload all these section into one site, and also upload the demo content for these areas into that one site.

1. PMPRO plugin is a free plugin, there is no paid version of it. You can add membership levels, recurring or one time and restrict content based on those.
2. Users need to register before applying for a membership level. Restrictions can be applied for content or for the one in the options you see in the membership levels page https://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/membership-account/membership-levels/
3. Directory plugins restrictions are not included in the theme and you will have to work them based on your needs.
4. Content pages like the demo ones are built using WPBakery page builder so content can be easily replaced. Other areas like in the Geodirectory plugin depend on the plugins options and managed by the plugin
5. WP default search returns posts by default, our ajax search allows you to search in custom post types. members and groups too

8. They are the same wordpress users but since there are different plugins each plugin can have its management interface in the admin area
9. I haven’t seen an option in the admin area to filter those

Thanks for your reply, but yu didn’t reply to a few questions clearly, here are the questions again, I have rephrased it to help you understand wat I mean and respond appropriately:
3. Is it possible to make people pay when they sign up to directory part, and pay before they can publish their business listing? Is this payment feature already in the Kleo them? Again, I mean, when you click ‘Add listing’ is there payment required before people add their listing? We need this payment feature so people can pay before adding a listing. Let us know.
4. Your response is not clear here. Our question is simply, we need KLEO theme for a charity directory, but not for business listings. It will be used for people directory, to add people not businesses. If we need to change some words or remove some blocks such as phone number, business opening hours, etc, can you help us to do so?
7. We simply need to know how many social media sharing is available in the single listing page, in the business directory. Because we see only Twitter and G+. Does it have also Facebook, and other sharing?

4. Kleo has members directory and they are users and don’t allow adding other people to them. You can do changes to the theme using template overrides using a developer.
7. Those are available from the plugin, You probably can add others with custom development.

I appreciate the prompt response. Please advise u the following to enable us decide finally whether this theme is for us, we need to purchase one as a matter of urgency but need the following confirmation:
3. You said there’s no paymet for the directory, since we need payment here, how can we add payment feature? It is a matter of adding a plugin/plug and play? Or is majot work required? We need something we can do ourselves (we don’t have tech skills but can do simply installation of plugins and setting up etc). Please provide detailed info about payment integration so in this the directory so we don’t have to keep disturbing you.
4. I think you misunderstood again, question 4 above is not about members directory. I was stilltalking about the Business listings/directory. Not members directory at all. We need a few text changes etc, and if we need a developer to do this, then I think we’ll have to leave the theme sadly as it would be expensive. We have basic knowledge and can do the changes with your directions, if you cna provide us with support after purchase to do these changes, please let us know. We don’t want 3rd part developers invovled, what we need are basic stuff.
7. Are you saying in your theme only twitter and G+ (which is closing soon) are available for sharing the business listings? And if we need to add facebook, and other sharing we have to develope these ourselves? Please confirm if you can do this for us as they are basic theme features, found in al themes for sharing, especially in a business directory.
Finally, our of curiosity, you have pricing tables and some kind of payment info in the theme I assume? Since the payment is not available for business directory, is the payment for general members who sign up to have their own user profile (not business directory profile). If so, at what stage can the general user make a payment? After signing up or before?

Just purchased KELO theme, installed all the Gamipress + BuddyPress plugins abut, nothing to seems working (point award, etc).
Is there anything blocking Gamipress from functioning in the theme that I could adjust?

Hello, Well, the point system in not working. You define points for Activity post and user should receive points for posting stuff but, its not working. Using this on other themes like Avada, it works fine so, my guess is, something in the theme is blocking the event or triggers.

I googled and found that I needed to add the links to the secondary menu, but I still don’t see any styling options to make those links look like buttons. Can you help?

Thanks for getting back to me! For some reason, mine does not have these styling options. I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why. I’ve tried deactivating plugins and it never shows up. The only option I have on menu items is to hide them based on logged in or logged out users.
