Some Theme speed optimization results, using latest Woocommerce, WP, and Porto Theme Version. I am using WP Rocket as well as your in-built optimization but results are still bad – why?

A suggestion for you.

When you send out theme update email from ThemeForest, it would be VERY helpful to see a Changelog and versions of WordPress and Woocommerce supported, inside that email so most of us who are running critical production sites can immediately tell if we need to update or we can wait.

Please download the latest Theme Russian Language Translation files from below given links and upload it to wp-content/languages/themes and then go to WP-Dashboard >> Setting >> General and change the site language as Russian from there and save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

It looks likes your site CSS is not working, Can you please try once after deactivating all the third party plugins and check your site after removing the browser cache and also maybe it is because of the SLL of your site, Sometimes the SLL is not Installed on the site properly from the hosting provider, hope you will not find an issue otherwise contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login and CPanel details so we will check and solve it for you.

There’s an issue with your Advanced Carousel element since today’s update. I have a testimonial carousel that’s not showing up within the advanced carousel but when removed from the carousel they show up fine.

Templates broken since updating to 4.9.1. Products in woocommerce will no longer display with sidebar. Tried raising the issue through your support site but the login on that site doesn’t work. Please assist urgently.

ok, seems to be related to a caching issue. Clearing cache didn’t resolve at first, but second attempt seems to have done the trick.

Please try again later.” I am using WP SMTP MAIL plugin and configured it with my smtp credentials and fired test mail the mail successfully comes to my gmail inbox. Property page is the Portfolio page set from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Portfolio, so you can set all the Portfolio/Property Archive page options from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Portfolio >> Portfolio Archives. This is the default functionality of the Theme and the possible options you will find there.

I just upgraded to wordpress latest version, and also woocommerce latest version. I’ve also updated the Porto theme to the latest version and I’m getting the following error message:

“Your theme (Porto Child Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:”

porto/woocommerce/checkout/payment.php version 3.4.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.5.3,

porto-child-theme/woocommerce/emails/customer-processing-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.5.4,

Yeah, this is because of the latest WooCommerce plugin update, We are working on the new Theme update and soon you will find the new Theme update will release and this template will update with the coming update of the Theme so until that please be patience.

why do you provide the option to change the Portfolio Post type name, but Not the Skill Meta Title in the theme? this should be built into the Theme Options. why is it not? and how is this accomplished without altering the Theme Files? I have yet to find a plugin to add any custom meta tags to the theme. Please advise

OK, So what is your suggestion to changing this on my own? you would think it would be an option given that the Post type Portfolio could apply differently even when installing some of your template demos ( like Construction), right. So if you did use the Construction theme demo install, do you think it makes since to force the meta type ( which has a crucial filtering funciton for your theme) would apply to a Construction project if I were to change Portfolio Post type to Project. and Change Skill to Project Material Used? see how giving your customers the option to change one post type to whatever they want, yet unable to change another function meta type, is somewhat silly?

please provide a work around solution for where I can change this Skill title property in the theme.php. I am sure most all of your customers have been wondering the same thing as well so while you are working to build that into future theme update releases, tell everyone ( not just those who have the paid support) where and how to update this. because your documentation is sub par with this instruction. This should be a free and public support answer you should share to everyone on this comment thread because it was a missed calculation on error on your dev team to leave this part out.

That is the Sale Price percentage showing on the particular product, and you can turn it ON/OFF as per your requirements from Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce: https://pasteboard.co/HXzB9hg.png

Version 4.9 seems to be a major change upon previous one. Overwrites plenty of the child theme elements. This caused me major problems as I updated 3 sites in good faith expecting the child theme elements to remain intact. Not too happy that there was no proper warning.

Hi there, Thanks for the reply on here. Please do not get me wrong. Porto is by far the very best theme for Woocommerce. Excellent support and I recommend it to all my clients. All I am saying is this update should rather have been a 5.0 as massive changes and plenty of things not working on you update… i.e. Header with opacity does not work over Revolution Slider. Wide width with right sidebar does not work anymore etc. From what I discovered today there is some great improvements and really like the sticky/floating add to cart section. I merely suggest that those planning to do the update should update one site at a time and ensure they have time to fix what needs to be fixed after updating. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
