Hi, we have a very strange issue, in project page edition, the button “add or edit galery” doesn’t work.We cannot add or remove image fromgalery, the media modal doesn’t appear. We are in WP 4.9.10 and your theme version 1.6. PHP 7.1. We investigate a little and the redux-gallery endqueue() method is not called. Regards

unfortunately, that is somehow a known issue with the old 1.x version on some server environments. The bad news is that I haven’t found the solution for it. For some people, raising the PHP memory solved it, for others it disappeared over time, but honestly, I don’t know how to 100% solve it. I’ve ditched the Redux Framework in the 2.0 version, but if you don’t have resources to update to 2.0 then it is not really helpful for you.
Anyway, if increasing the PHP memory won’t help, then I guess the only way would be to change those gallery images via custom fields. To do so, click on Screen Options in upper right corner and enable Custom Fields, then scroll down and edit the “meta_project_gallery” field. It is just a list of image IDs separated by comma. You can get the image ID by opening it under Media (ID will appear in the URL). I know it is far from ideal, but that is unfortunately all I got. I would highly advise you to upgrade to 2.0 though. All the code was built in-house so no strange issues caused by 3rd party libraries.

Hum bad news, the memory limit is 512Mb and thereis no warning or error at executon !
Then I guess doing it via Custom Fields is the only way unfortunately. You are like fourth or fifth buyer experiencing this so this is a very unique issue and I just don’t know how to solve it.
Try to take a look at 2.0. It depends on the amount of content and customization you’ve already done, but the update may not be that difficult and it will definitely pay off in the long run.
The issue comes from your includes/redux/loader.php some gallery class is not loaded !
But the thing is it occurs only on some server environments, which means I am not able to replicate it on my own installation, so it is impossible for me to debug. I’ve tried it in the past with access to some of my clients installations which had this issue, but I was unsuccessful. Again, I would love to help you, but I simply don’t know how. My advice is to consider updating to 2.0.

please read this. You can downgrade back to 1.x by downloading the full package, unzip it and install the bluecollar.zip from Legacy / BlueCollar v1 folder (remove your current version and all its plugins first).

it seems you are trying to upload a wrong file. Either download just the installable .zip from your Envato account / Downloads and upload it, or follow the documentation on how to install the theme using the full package.
Yo can also try the manually install the theme via FTP. Simply extract the installable .zip (NOT the full package, but bluecollar.zip file) and upload the bluecollar folder via FTP to wp-content/themes.

I have went into the download and extracted all then went to themes and selected blue collar and I still get an error message. Id like to request a refund if I could. I cant figure it out ad cant afford to pay to install it.

How can I add the map on the Contact form, like in the live demo. I have imported manually only the contact form but the map is missing? How can I add it ?

just go to Google Maps site and use “Share or embed map” feature in the left panel. Then put the generated code into your page.
Contact form and contact page are two different things. Form is just an element you can put on any page, the page is well, the page.

you will have to set up your v2 site from the scratch, please follow the v2 documentation. It is highly recommended to install it on a fresh WordPress installation.

You can still use the WPBakery, however v1 theme-specific WPBakery elements won’t work in the v2, so you will still have to rebuild for example your homepage. Honestly, I would advise to go with the Gutenberg unless you have some reason not to. The demo data is available only for the Gutenberg, and so is the front page tutorial in the documentation. Most importantly, Gutenberg is IMHO much more feature-proof and you do not have to rely on updates from a 3rd party developer. But it is up to you of course.
BTW, you can use a 3rd party post type convertor like this one to convert your old custom post types like projects and services from 1v to v2. However it will convert only post titles and content. Meta data like galleries, or service icon class will still have to be added manually. So if you do not have too much of those posts, it is generally better to add them manually anyway.

You mean the way how it is handled in the backend? What did you particularly liked more in v1? Just to be sure, have you read through the v2 documentation, particularly the front page tutorial part?
Have read documentation and it is very thorough and easy to understand, even for us with little experience. I liked the simplicity of the V1 front page and the ease of changing it to suit our business. See www.wessex.uk.com. I think V2 will take me more work than I have time for to look like the V1 front page. Like the theme and will continue to use.

Well, the only noticeable difference is the contact info. As you can see, I’ve moved it to the very top of the header in the v2, so if you liked it more under the page title like in v1, then yeah, you won’t achieve that in v2 without custom coding. But the good side is that now in v2 you can have it on every page which is IMHO much more handy.
The “25 Years of Experience…” section may be a little bit more tricky to pull off in v2, but some custom CSS should be enough to achieve that in combination with what is already available in the theme/WordPress.
The “Certification, 24/7 Availability..” section is still available in v2 and grid of your clients’ logos is created with some sort of 3rd party plugin so the v2 should have no effect on that.
Anyway, if you decide to update to v2 and will get stuck on something, just let me know. Some things may seem harder to do, but I am sure most of the things will be actually much easier to do and manage compared to v1.
hi, we have bought the theme a while ago ( 7 months ) and we have an issue after updating wordpress. When we want to add an new project we see the image gallery already has selecter a few files and we can not remove them. We We have had this issue also a while ago. Can you help we fix this?

I guess I know what do you mean, unfortunately, this issue is very unique and I still haven’t found out what is causing it, since it only on appears on certain servers. However, how did you fixed it while ago?
Please also note that there is a major update available which is built on entirely different framework which should prevent issues like that from happening. Unfortunately, updating to version 2.x will require you to rebuild a large portion of your existing site from the scratch.

Hello, the new Beta is great! just re-doing my site with the update and I am having trouble with WP Bakey elements not formatting in line with the theme elements – so the main page is “Full-Width w/o title” and all the themes own elements line up fine, but when I add more elements they go right to each corner/edge of the screen, is there a way to “box” these other elements to the same size as the themes elements. hope this makes sense…thanks again

the full-width template is supposed to be used only with full-width elements like the ones used on the front-page. I will take a look if it will be possible to create some kind of “box” for non full-width elements, however I am afraid that the Gutenberg may not support blocks like that yet and I am not fan of creating WPBakery-only elements. I will be releasing the 2.0 version as an update in the following days so if I will find a solution it will be included there.

Sure, just take a look into page-templates folder in the parent theme to see how templates are made. You can create the same folder in your child theme and either create new templates or override existing one.
The boxed w/o can be created using the page.php file in the parent’s root (that file is used for Default Template). Just copy its code to your own template in child theme / page-templates folder, make sure to to put a comment with a name on the top (check other files in parent / page-templates folder to see how) and change the code whatever you want.
Here is the official documentation on that, you may find it useful. Just one golden rule: use the child theme for every modification, never ever change any file in the parent theme.
thanks for taking the time, I’m not sure if I know enough about WordPress code to do this. On the original version of this theme it has a Row option “Wrap in Container – Enable if you are using Full-Width template and want this Row to be centered.” the beta/2.0 does not, I’m thinking this is going to be an issue for other people as well, as when you add WPbakery/LSVR elements, like “LSVR Counter” these do not get “boxed” on the page like the rest of the theme elements. they don’t line up together.
Thanks for feedback. That “Wrap in Container” option actually complicated the code side of things a little bit and looking back, it is not very elegant way to deal with this issue anyway. I will try to include Boxed W/O title and Narrow W/O title page templates in the final release.
BTW, you could also do this:
1.) Use a Columns block with the custom CSS class for elements like buttons, alert message, etc (you can add the class in the right sidebar when editing a block under Additional Settings tab).
2.) Let’s say your custom class is “bluecollar-narrow-columns” (it should be something unique), then add the following CSS code to your child theme or under Appearance / Customize / Additional CSS:
.bluecollar-narrow-columns { max-width: 800px; margin: auto;}
Thanks heaps, iv done that code/css and it seems to work, but is there a way to center the boxes? As they hold the width but are not centred in the website, when are you looking at a full release of 2.0?
sorry, i see the problem, you cant add “Additional CSS Class” with your “LSVR elements” in WPBakery, but in Gutenberg you can add CSS on the elements.
You should be able to add an ID in WPBakery (and in Gutenberg as well), however it has to be unique for each element. For example use IDs like “narrow-columns-1”, “narrow-columns-2” etc. Then you can then use CSS like this:

#narrow-columns-2,
#narrow-columns-3 { max-width: 800px; margin: auto;}

Here is a tutorial (just google how to translate a WordPress theme to get more tutorials). Do not change it in the code, you will lost it if you update the theme in the future.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: BlueCollar 2.0
The BlueCollar 2.0 is a major theme update which will be released soon and will be available to any existing and future buyers of the BlueCollar theme. However, there are couple of important things you should know.
2.0 Features
- New custom post types: testimonials, FAQ, person directory and galleries.
- Customization via WordPress customizer with live preview.
- Modularity of features: each post type comes as a separate plugin, so you can install only those you need for less bloat.
- Much, much cleaner and up to standards code for easier advanced customization (don’t forget to use a child theme for that though).
- Compatibility with the new WordPress block editor (Gutenberg).
- Many major and minor improvements.
1.x Compatibility and Support
- BlueCollar 2.0 won’t be compatible with the previous version (1.x). It is basically a brand new theme built upon the BlueCollar design. This applies to theme options, menus, widgets, custom posts (services, projects), custom shortcodes, color schemes and code modifications. Basically everything. That means that if you want to apply this update to an existing site running BlueCollar 1.x, be very careful and ideally hire a professional for the job.
- Since I understand that incompatibility with the 1.x is a big deal, the 1.x will still be supported. Once the 2.0 will be released, you will find the latest version of 1.x in the full package downloaded from ThemeForest.
- The current plan for 1.x support is to keep it supported until the end of 2019 (or longer, if needed). However, this applies only to customers who will buy the theme before the release of 2.0 and will have a valid support. For all others, I will be happy to provide my 5* star support for BlueCollar 2.0 version.
- If you plan to stick to 1.x after the 2.0 release, then make sure to deactivate the Envato Market plugin to avoid updating to 2.0 accidentally
2.0 Beta
- 2.0 beta will be available in the next BlueCollar update (1.6.0). You will find the installable .zip in the Beta folder of the full package downloaded from ThemeForest.
- Even though it will be technically a beta, there shouldn’t be any major issues, so if you are building a new site, I strongly encourage you to use the beta instead of the 1.x version.
- If you come across any issues in the beta version, feel free to post them here in this forum or send me a PM. I will be updating the beta version until the official release of 2.0, so any issues will be sorted out as soon as possible.
- Please note that BlueCollar 2.0 requires PHP 5.6 or higher, so make sure to check your server settings before you install it (contact your hosting provider if you are not sure about this).
- Do not use updater plugins such as Envato Market during the beta period to avoid accidental downgrade to 1.x.
- The new WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) is now the preferred editor. The WPBakery Page Builder is still supported though and you will find its installation archive in the full package in Plugins folder (js_composer.zip).
Date and Pricing
- BlueCollar 2.0 release is planned for February 2019.
- I will be changing the price of BlueCollar to $64 once the 2.0 is released.

For the LSVR Toolkit plugin under wp-content/languages/plugins and name it as lsvrtoolkit-xx_YY.po, if it wont work then try lsvr-toolkit-bluecollar-xx_YY.po.

that message was related only to part of the content, like tables which were created using the TablePress plugin, but that has no effect on the rest of the demo data which seems to be fine. Head to Settings / Reading and set your front page, then read the rest of the documentation to set up other stuff like menus and widgets.
