HI just updated the theme and wordpress to the current versions there seems to be an issue with visual composer when selecting the text block there is no way of altering or adding text or html to this element or changing existing elements. Have you seen this issue?

make sure you have everything updated (all wpjm plugins), WPJM recently changed the library used for select from chosen to select2, but it shouldn’t cause any problems.

ad2. not sure what you mean by “transactions” but all payments are done using WooCommerce, so I guess if there are woocommerce plugins for affiliate they might work

What happens if I have for example 2 Job listings with them same title? Will they both be suggested in the dropdown if I searched for it? That wouldn’t make sense right? I never tried that so I can’t guarantee it will work and you won’t run into any issues. Multisite handled user management in different way, this might cause some issues.

The home page image can be changed in Customize -> Jobs Options -> Jobs Home Page, while the single jobs or pages have option to upload header image in the Edit screen, below the content editor

Hi! I’ve faced a problem with job application system: When application form is used for applying for positions it doesn’t let attach .doc CVs. The following info masseage appears: “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.” This problem occurs even on you demo site. When I try to apply for any position and attach a reasume – the same massage appears. You can try it by youself. Do you know what is the problem and how we han solve it?
Try to add to your config.php in wordpress folder this line
define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true);
or check with example this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/pro-mime-types/ if doc is allowed mime type on your server (generally it should be as it’s by default in WordPress)
Well, I’ve tried to add the line define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true); to the bottom of my config.php file – but it hasn’t helped.
I’ve tried the second option too. I’ve installed Pro Mime Types plugin and set there to allow .doc, .docx, .pdf files upload. But it hasn’t helped. I can’t upload any resumes while the application process on my website. Neither can I do the same on your demo workscouit.in demo website…

Generally you need basic WordPress knowledge but it’s not something super complicated.

If you’ll buy the Applicaitons add-on https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/applications/ the applications data is stored in custom post type which makes it easy to export in WordPress to xml file, then it’s up to you how you’ll handle that in your app.

If you want the same content as the demo page, you need to buy also some additional plugins, WorkScout is based on WP Job Manager and it’s add-ons. The free version of WP Job Manager allows for listing jobs and job submissions, If you want to have resumes, application, bookmarks, job alerts and other features you can see on a demo, the best way would be to buy the Core Add-on Bundle for 125$ https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/bundle/ – it’s all clearly explained in WorkScout description.
WP Job Manager is owned by Automattic so the company that ‘owns’ WordPress, I don’t think there’s a better guarantee that that plugin will work and will be maintained, can’t say that about other solution from developers who might abandon their project if they will stop selling. Using WPJM you are always sure you can change the theme any moment and all your data and jobs and everything else will still work. With other solution you might be stuck or have a lot of work to migrate your data.
How do you implement recaptcha on the registration and apply jobs can’t seem to find it in the docs regards

recaptcha settings are in wp-admin -> Listeo Core -> Registration, it currently works with recaptcha v2, so just generate the API keys for your domain https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/ and put theme in that settings page

Of course in WorkScout there’s no such menu. Recaptcha keys are added in Job Listings -> Settings and they are generally for WP Job Manager, but in Customize -> Registration, you can enable them for registration form

Hey, Is there an easy way of allowing the site owner to see how many people have applied for specific jobs?
Is it also possible to see how many people have clicked through from the a job application to an external site? Also, can we set it so the employer adds their own application form?

if you’re using Appliations add-on employer has a counter in his dasboard for number of applications
there’s no clicks count kept in side, and the application form is one for all employers (that’s functionality from WP Job Manager, not from our theme)
