Metronic is primarily based on Bootstrap and we do think that Tailwind can fit in there. In v6.0 has code rewrite and design improvements. The class names will simler but still based on BEM.

Hi there, just would like to be sure about a couple of things here:
1- Default version, which shows many features, is different that angular version. What I want to say, is that – for example – default version shows buttons with inner spinners, which are not available in angular version.
2- ngx-permissions. I understand is part of the angular version, but no further documentation could find. Is it already implemented or is it just a basic routing access validation?

Sure, let us clarify it for you.
1. The default and angular versions are separate instances and they only shares the css based general components and the core layout features. Porting every jquery plugin into pure angular is technically impossible in reasonable time so we basically used the best native Angular UI libraries for the Angular version.
2. ngx-permission is a 3rd party plugin for demo. It is already implemented with some basic routing validation. For more info and doc, you can check out this site; https://github.com/AlexKhymenko/ngx-permissions/wiki In the next version, we decided not to use it anymore. We will use our own solution for permissions and user management.Thanks.
Is there a way to use Dropzone without automatically naming them mDropzone[n] (ex. mDropzoneOne)?
I want to have one on every page, and may occasionally have a separate one for other use. Since this is done dynamically, and the optional one would show before the one always there, the numbering would be dynamic and more difficult to track. I don’t see using more than two if ever, but just to plan ahead and prevent issues/confusion.
I’d like to be able to specify the name for that object, by attribute, or any other means.

1 – I was pulling my hair off. just to launch a Bootstrap modal from another bootstrap modal. I found solutions on the net, but I’m wondering is that a correct way (Metronic way) to do it ? or a another component to do it ?.
2- Why a a same link of a modal in a normal page can’t open another bootstrap modal in a modal page ??
3- Did the html of Metronic 5.5 still the same in 6.0 or have you modified it ? (Just to know if no need to upgrade or not.)

1. You can you try to use any available workaround for this. Metronic does not have any workaround for this issue as it should have been implemented properly in the Bootstrap framework. Hopefully the latest bootstrap(v4.3.1) that will be coming with Metronic v6.0 fixes this it.
2. This is how Bootstrap modal behave. You should check it with the Bootstrap’s original documentation or github issues.
3. In v6.0 we will bring changes in the html, sass, js and design as well. The new version will be better in terms of file structure, code structure and performance. Also it will be much more easier to do design and assets(file content) customizations.

I am trying to use Basic Datatable. It has 11 fields/columns. If I try to remove any column, the table is no longer sortable/searchable. What am I missing? Should I be editing another file in addition to this? All I need is a simple datatable for 4-5 columns.

Sorry for the late response. We need some clarifications. 1) Which datatable are you using? mDatatable or DataTable.net? 2) Are you using remote data source or local/HTML table?
Please provide your datatable init code, we can check it further.
My suggestion for you to check first; 1) if you use remote data source, the field name from API and the column name in datatable option should be matched. 2) If you use remote search/sorting, does your API accept search/sorting?
