I am having issue; whenever i add a code (ads, link or shortcode) BEFORE POST CONTENT as seen in this image (http://prntscr.com/mv6jfx), the sidebar will either disappear or aligned left above post content while scrolling up and making reading nearly impossible (as in the case where adsense or taboola script is place before post content)

Hello, I just created my site using the Newspaper theme, but the tagDiv Composer plugin is causing problems with my site. The site vey often stops loading and throws an error connecting the database. This problem disappears when I deactivate the plugin, but obviously the web page doesn’t look good with the plugin deactivated. What could be causing the issue? I also tried running the site with only the tagDiv Composer activated and the problem persisted.

The first step to take is to carefully check the theme requirements guide, not having sufficient resources can lead to problems. The guide is here https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also you may try to contact the hosting provider and ask them to check if there are any issue at database level.
In case the problem remains after trying these suggestions, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and allow us admin access, cPanel will also be helpful if possible. Mention any information you believe relevant to the issue. Let us know.

So from what I understand you want to add code in the mobile category files. The mobile theme has it’s own files in the theme. They are located here https://www.screencast.com/t/FBkHXuUkCoU
As a note, any modifications you make to the mobile theme files will have to be made again after a theme update, when the plugin will have to be updated.

I’ve considered changing the mobile theme files, but still wondering is there any way to make something similar to category blocks on mobile editor? I mean, that all I need on mobile pages – simple post categories, nothing else. Needless to say, mobile theme is very fast, but would be great to have more functionality P.s you are doing good job with those changes

Thank you fr your appreciation. Unfortunately the mobile theme plugin cannot use the standard tagdiv composer blocks on pages or categories. The mobile theme does not use any page builder. In the future we do plan on adding more functionality to the mobile theme in the future.

You could try reinstalling the theme,do it by FTP for example. Here is a guide, follow the steps carefully https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ After the reinstall update the theme plugins that require this.

Im not using AMP. I just need the mobile theme to show shortcode pages like that last version

The AMP plugin is not required. You can use just the mobile theme plugin or don’t use this as well. If you don’t use the mobile theme, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile (responsive).
The main difference in this matter between the last theme version and the latest version, is that now the mobile theme can be integrated with the official AMP plugin. If you do not need AMP, you can still use just the mobile theme, or deactivate this as well.

That would mean the theme has already been activated. Activating the theme requires that the user creates an account on the forum, as mentioned in the documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/

I bought this theme yesterday and I already installed it with the plugins recommended by you.
The desktop version is ok, but on mobile it is displaying a much smaller content with few blocks. How do I leave the same information from the desktop version in the mobile version as well?

I suppose that you are using the mobile theme plugin, right? Please notice that is not mandatory to use this plugin if you do not like it. Notice that our theme is fully responsible without this one and you can disable this from plugins section and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode.

1. We’ve update our website to the latest wordpress version and your latest theme.
2. All plugins are switched off. But nobody can post or edit new postings anymore.

Yes if you change the page template to the page builder + page title, the title will show up on your homepage. Please read this guide: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/ The mobile theme needs you to create a mobile version for your pages using the mobile editor in the back-end of your pages. Otherwise, nothing will be shown. If you do not like our mobile theme implementation, it is not mandatory to use it. It is an optional plugin. The theme is already responsive without the mobile theme.

I didn’t know it was a Mobile Theme Template.
But it’s not compatible with Tagdiv Composer
Why isn’t a setting like “Disable mobile theme for this page”?
Thus, google for compatible pages do not experience site speed problems.
For pages that we cannot optimize, the standard mobile page is displayed.
Isn’t it hard for you to do that?

Unfortunately this option is not available in our theme. It is not an easy customization we ca provide in an instant though. our theme developers need to take a look into it and find a proper implementation that will work in all scenario. I cannot promise anything but i will add this to our list for future updates and hopefully we will be able to provide more options for the mobile theme plugin.
