Does anyone know how to create a content block on a page which will show specific category’s posts? I spent hours googling and can’t find anything.
I don’t want to create a category page linked to the menu, I want to add several content blocks for different categories’ posts on one page like in a newspaper.

There is a Newspaper demo in X them but it doesn’t provide any features of newspaper/magazine, it’s simply a blog with a slider. Since I already purchased it, I am looking for ways to implement this feature within this theme.

Still loving X Theme but have discovered an issue you may not be aware of.
It appears your theme isn’t compatible with the Directories Pro plugin for WordPress (https://codecanyon.net/item/directories-pro-for-wordpress/21800540). The browser taxonomy title for directory categories appears to be in conflict.
I have tested this plugin with other themes and the browser page title (taxonomy) works as it should, however with X Theme, it does not.
Attempting to force the taxonomy change with Yoast SEO also fails.
What may be causing this? Is their something in the X Theme functions that would force the taxonomy to override the taxonomy for page title changes of these plugins?

Unfortunately we do not officially support Directories Pro so we are not testing it against compatibility. Feel free to reach out to the plugin author and let them know about the issues and we are more than happy to help them out if they need anything to make their plugin compatible with our theme.

We do not have a review/rating function but there are many free plugins out there which provide this and as long as they follow the official WordPress coding standards they will work fine with our theme.
Hello. I urge for some help on this issue please. I am unable to update The X Theme OR Visual Composer without having Visual Composer by WPBakery not work. We have had to revert back to old backups every time we try any sort of update, hoping that the Visual Composer compatibility with X Theme would finally be a reality, but yet it still is a problem. What happens is the WPBakery page builder does not implement anything more than one single row element for an entire page of various widths of content, and is full of code and images such as someone were editing in “Classic Mode.” I am able to make very basic website updates when this is the case but I have also found that saving while under this state will potentially eliminate line breaks within a page, therefore I refuse to do so. This has been a problem that has been tolerated simply by not updating for at least 4 or 5 months as we needed to update our content due to immediate obligations to our clients, but this cannot go on. I am happy to share login credentials privately and to cooperate on all levels to make this finally work.

If you go to Validation in your dashboard you will see the demo import box. This can be used to automatically import any of our demos.

You can’t mix stacks so you need to choose one of them. From a layout perspective you can mix and match layouts of all demos but the styling might be different. Thanks to our page builder, building unique designs and page layouts is no problem at all.

Once we have added the 33 templates then how do we choose one of them?
We paid for and downloaded X-the-Theme. But, neither zip files installed properly. I read that someone else installed the wrong zip file so I attempted to install the one with the longer name but that one did not work either. The error said that something was ALSO missing like the first one. Please advise ASAP. Thanks.

Nothing happens when the zip file is upoloaded to the wordpress theme page.

I still do not know what to do next, APEX has not responded yet.
I re-read the installation instructions and it says that we need the “PRO” version? If so then how would we get that? Or, do we need to pay EXTRA for that version?

You do not need Pro, please follow the installation instructions and if you have trouble one of our support staff in the apex member area can help you getting everything setup. Make sure to provide the login credentials to your site so they can help you in the most efficient way possible.
The “Installation Instructions” do not help, why won’t someone “TELL US” what is NOT working as requested above?! Please STOP asking us to READ the installation instructions and TELL US what is wrong and WHY IT IS NOT WORKING, i.e. not installing!

Hello, first of all… your template is amazing! I have some trouble to stick the navbar at the top of the page like demo integrity1 or renew1. I set to fixed (or static) into the X->Options->Header from my wordpress 5.1 site. I try adding some css but the navbar seems to be in the background of the page. Could you help me ? Thanks a lot

When I look in your demos, I can’t find this template in Integrity, Renew, Icon or Ethos. Maybe Ethos 01 could look similar. Is it that? Is it easy to manage the header first at bottom and then move up to the top?

Hello! Where do you add Google Maps API in your Theme Options? My map is broken https://www.wollombi.org/contact/ Every other WP site I’ve built has this in the Theme Options but I can’t find it in X theme. It also isn’t a field in the Google Maps WPBakery Builder element.
I have had to enable “Legacy X Integration” to get my site working after the latest updates.

Never mind, I was able to locate it on the support tab. It’s been a long while since I’ve accessed this theme, at least 3 or 4 years. Seriously am super excited about using it especially in light of all of the new updates you guys have created.
