Hi, Is there a way to override some php files from your new Bridge Core plugin inside child Theme?
Hello,
There is no easy way to do this with just copying functions or make the same folder hierarchy. The only way would be to rewrite whole Class inside child theme for one shortcode.

Ok I understand. In a near future, can you add a functionnality in the theme options to be able to change the “latest posts” (in \modules\shortcodes\shortcode-elements\latest-posts\templates) date format. The date format is hardcoded in the php files and doesn’t match neither English or French North American standards.
For exemple, English would be:

for French:

For anyone having all sorts of fatal errors, etc.
1. Deactivate all of your plugins. 2. Install and activate the new Bridge Core plugin. 3. Go into your files (FTP or file manager via cpanel) and delete the folder wp-content>themes>bridge>framework. Just get rid of the entire framework folder. Delete it. Make it go bye-bye. This is going to break some things but only for a minute. 4. Unzip the new bridge theme into your themes folder. 5. Update/activate all of your plugins again. 6. Enjoy the theme you know and love.

Bridge theme now throw an error in newer chrome version.
Is about passive listener, in the file smoothPageScroll.min.js is used preventDefault. The only way to don´t have errors in console when scrolling is disabling smooth scroll.

Now i have disabled smooth scroll on qode options, so not load the smoothPageScroll.min.js and not throw the error. In chrome 73 all listener is considered as passive:true by default and throw a error in console that says “Unable to preventDefault inside passive event listener”. In firefox don´t throw these error.

Hi, I’ve updated my site to WordPress 5.1.1 and the last version of Bridge theme, now I can not upload images with media library, the uploader stills loading and don’t show the images, I’ve tried changing to other theme and works fine. I think the problem is Bridge theme. Can you help me?

It is because you’ve had installed Envato Toolkit plugin that is deprecated almost two years ago. So, just go to wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules/ and delete this folder envato-wordpress-toolkit Everything should be working fine after. And if you want to do automatic updates, just install new Envato Market plugin for this purpose.

No, everything should be working fine. May we ask you to recheck if you performed latest update on right way: – first update our theme, here are instructions http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/2-getting-started/2-3-installing-the-bridge-theme/2-3-4-theme-update/ – then install/activate our new Bridge Core plugin – and after you could update other of our plugins. Also, make sure to have parent theme activated while doing this update. Then if you have child theme and made some modification in functions.php code of your child theme, just check if you are using any method with “qode” prefix and replace it with “bridge_qode” After this, you are able to activate child theme, too. Everything should be working well. Please, let us know how it goes. If there is any issue, we will of course perform this update on your behalf. Thanks for understanding. Using the mansory_blog shortcode the featured images are not being resized to an adequate thumbnail/small size, appearing in gtmetrix performance warnings. Is there any setting to fix this?
As far as I can tell, the issue is in this file:
plugins/bridge-core/modules/shortcodes/shortcode-elements/_masonry-blog/masonry-blog.php
In these lines this should not be “full”, it should request the required size. I’ve changed both to “medium” and that alone was enough to get gtmetrix from 43%/69% to 82%/71%:
$featured_image_array = wp_get_attachment_image_src(get_post_thumbnail_id(), ‘full’);
(...) wp_get_attachment_image( $img_id, ‘full’ ) (...)

Thank you for writing in. You are able to put there “medium” or “thumb” or any other desired size. And then just Regenerate all thumbnails. So, you could see change applied on your featured images.

I think it should be fairly obvious that I know that, thank you. This is a performance/SEO issue with your implementation and should be corrected, as it will be reset the next time you update the theme.

just updated Bridge and it appears that the VC space is not working now.. only your transparent separator.. would make me change every space in the website, huge work. What’s happening with the default VC space ? I wait before I update every websites for my clients done with your template…

The last line of the bullet point is really close to the next paragraph. How do you increase the space here. 3. H3 text is really close to the first line of the following paragraph. How do I increase the space between them?
