Ive message in past about this like a year ago, and im hoping you will add this feature. Woocommerce is massive for wordpress andyour theme is sexy and soooo good, but the really annoying Qode search, that treats products like blog posts is sooo nasty.

If i use the Qode search and type Robes

i see all products like massive blog posts and its soooo jarring the search query is /?s=robe

but if you add this query after &post_type=product

It treats search like product search ie /?s=robe&post_type=product

could you not in the options of Qode Search Enable Qode Search Bar This option enables Qode Search functionality (search icon will appear next to main navigation)

add a tick box to say treat search like product search. which takes same query of /?s=robe but adds &post_type=product after the search term by activating that option

I know other themes like Walker, Sober have their own search and have similar tick options that apply &post_type=product after the search term to allow to search as products rather than blog post.

Woocomerce search in widgets is not an option with your theme as it completely breaks the header on your theme when you use this option.

I bought Bridge and I’m using the Minimalists template. Is there a way increase the type size of the Portfolio Gallery text that overlay the images? Also can I add that text to the enlarged image slider, below the image next to the number/arrows?

​We have upgraded to Bridge v18 from v17.

After that some errors avoid to show company logo and other elements.

Console Browser display this error:

TypeError: undefined is not a function (near ’...$j(“a[rel^=’prettyPhoto’]”).prettyPhoto…’)​

Ok. Thanks for this feedback. Now we could suggest to try to activate this plugin if you want to use it and to disable our Page transitions in Qode Options > general > Page transitions > No animation. If it works, you’ll be able to use this plugin without our ajax transitions.

We’ve rolled back to a previous version until the author fixes the bug. We’re also using the Responsive Lightbox & Gallery plugin. Please fix compatibility with this plugin!

Actually, there should be now issues with lightbox and prettyphoto if you performed update regularly. We could help you only if you sent access to version where everything is updated to the latest version and it is not working well. Thanks for understanding.

Yes, I have just found out that colour for titles in blog and contact page can be change in Qode Options-General-Second Main colour. But not where it should be in Qode-Blog….

Glad to hear this has been resolved. Please, note that headings and some parts like those are taking first and second main color in order to fit whole theme design. Thanks for understanding.

We added import/export of our options in version 9.5 But you are able to save it from database. Here are instructions for migration so you could check this part about database moving, too https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-from-local-server-to-live-site/ You will need to go to phpMyAdmin or any other database tool that you are using, navigate to wp_options table and find qode_options_proya that are actually our theme options.

Thanks its working now but some things are not appearing on my page. I downloaded a demo, only the slideshow shows up on my page all the other content that’s supposingly show up on demo eg. posts, team members etc are not showing up. I can see them in my WP builder though.

This option was removed from VC, because we have included our element called Qode Elements Holder, to have the equal height columns.

Seriously? It’s been over 2 days since I submitted the support ticket! And heard nothing what so ever!!!

After the latest theme update, the restaurant menu doesn’t load properly, it seems like css got messed up(?)

Also, I cannot make any changes on the existing page or create new pages!!! (But was able to create a new post)

Yes, we have in plan including FA 5 into Bridge theme, however we’ve stumbled across some integration issues, which would affect some users and we’re working that out. We don’t know the exact release date, but version 5 is definitely in plan for some future Bridge updates.

When using 18 version w/ gutenberg editor when you edit post/page the canvas background is grey colored so the text is difficult to read.
Is theme related, when i change the theme to a default one (Twenty Nineteen) the canvas background is white.
Know you what options need to be changed to achieve this?

We make Gutenberg editor to look the same in backend like our page looks like in frontend which is by ThemeForest rules actually. So, since our background color is grey, it should looks the same in backend, too. Also, even this editor is added as Official in WordPress version 5+ our main page builder is WPbakery page builder where we implemented our elements.

I can’t access my Theme Options now, I hear it’s related to my Child Theme, but I wanted to mention that the last two times I’ve tried to submit a ticket in Ticksy, it never tells me the ticket was submitted, nothing happens and then the entire website for Ticksy is not available. I’ve tried clearing cache, opening about Browser, but nothing. After I while I check again it’s accessible and my ticket shows it did go through. I just submitted a ticket about not having access to my theme options and I’m not sure it went through again…Thank you!

With last update my site crashed in a 500 error… Now i’ve made the access to wordpress admin after renaming bridge theme folder adding ”.dectivate”. I need to reinstall the previous version, where I can find it?

You are able to download only latest version on ThemeForest. We are sorry for bad experience you’ve had. We put a huge effort in it and everything has been tested. Please, note that right procedure for doing update of Bridge is to: - first update our theme, here are instructions http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/2-getting-started/2-3-installing-the-bridge-theme/2-3-4-theme-update/ - then to install/activate our new Bridge Core plugin and after you could update other of our plugins, such as WPbakery pag builder and Qode plugins. Also, make sure to have parent theme activated while doing this update. Then if you have child theme and made some modification in functions.php code of your child theme, just check if you are using any method with “qode” prefix and replace it with “bridge_qode” After this, you are able to activate child theme, too. Everything should be working well. Please, let us know how it goes. If there is any issue, we will of course perform this update on your behalf. Thanks for understanding.

A copy-paste answer is not what I was looking for. If I asked for a help, is because I followed the standard procedure (as always) and the site broke-down.

However in the meanwhile I solved the problem by myself, deleting all the theme’s folders from my site and installing BRIDGE AS NEW. (I had to set menu, sidebar and footer again, but it was the faster and least painful solution)

Now the site works, except for some problems with one page.

I still think that Bridge is a good theme as a concept, but in the daily use too many options, plugins, a bit complicated to apply, make me thinking for something new… something less INTRICATE.
