It seems to be an issue with the use of share in yith wishlist. It is not enough to enable share options in wishlist settings, you also have to enable it in the actual wishlist page.

And when enabled in the page you get 2 instances of the share options, one in the wishlist table and one in the page itself.

And both these share options share the wishlist url like this: http://https://

Hi. I just updated to version 4.10 … And in change log I have seen these lines : ”+ Added: product layouts in shop pages into the elements demo + Added: product category layouts sample page in elements demo”

How can I see those addiitions? Do I have to reinstall a demo? Sorry, but because I hadnt observe all the pages at first demo installation, maybe those updates are already in effect in existing pages in my WP terminal? Thnx

Porto WordPress is fully designed/compatible to run on shared hosting as well, but the Plugins you are/will use with your site, so it’s better to use VPS hosting as it requires more space/power/speed/resources to your site :).

How can I change the sort order of the FAQ’s both the categories and the FAQ’s themselves?

There is only Option for sorting the FAQ’s as ASC/DESC and you can choose it from Appearance >> Theme Options >> FAQ’s, and if you want to Sort all the FAQ’s as per your requirements you have to use any third party plugin or Customization for that, If you want you can try this plugin and change the Order of Faq’s from back-end and then check will it also change on front-end or not: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-post-order/

I bought the theme two months ago, i near to finish the site.. I’m wondering why the REV SLIDER is not working well with the theme.. it doesnt show the following: arrows, bullet and image layer.. i tried different setups.. but doesnt show.. i change them and works. i click on slider preview .. it works

Another bug in the update just discovered. On the single product images, the border-box css is in conflict the inline css, as it pertains to product image overflow. The ”.product-image .inner” on the inline shows an overflow property of VISIBLE, whereas the ”.product-image .inner” of the theme_shop.css has the overflow property set to HIDDEN.

So with that, the product category box that we have set on the homepage, which has four (4) products set horizontally, now has our images OVERFLOWING the border box to the right side.

What’s the fix?

Hi friends. Well, I have been observing the capabilities of the Porto theme, and came across this site: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shortcodes/product-categories/

And tried to figure out how you those elements are available in the theme…But couldn’t find any….There are a couple of PROTO categories element , but none of them have built-in such layouts afaik. Where is the hover effect in options? Where is the product count? And where is it possible to place text in image…Of course, if I will spend hours by css and custom JS I can also make such…but I am curious, what are those listings of elements in that page mean and how each those listings can be achieved? i.e. SIMPLE CATEGORIES, OVERLAY CAT., CREATIVE CAT….etc

Btw one more question: – when I open the Wishlist of one of the demos which I downloaded, I just see “[yith_wcwl_wishlist]” written as a text-block…. I guess the code snippet governing this shortcode is somehow missing? What am I supposed to do to see the Wishlist page?

in /public_html/wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/woocommerce.php

you check if passwords from woocommerce account connexion are the same (function registration_errors_validation). However, in form, there is no second field “password” to compare.

Besides, I am afraid of applying your update. The last time i did, I’ve lost all my changes. I had to put an old backup to get my site as it was before.

Lastly, in the admin panel (Porto Advanced Options) a lot of things are missing, as in the woocommerce tabs (for Full info / short info in form).

Can you fix this please ?

It might be because of the Minification of FontAwesome Icons from Speed Optimized Wizard, The new version of Font Awesome also requires font-weight: 900; when you use solid icons in custom CSS classes. It’s because your server environment can not access to our server https://portotheme.com

Please try to ping our server and let us know if it works.

Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.

OR

The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme.
