Hi, since the latest theme update, 4.11.0, the mini cart icon number that displays how many items are in the cart, doesn’t AJAX update on shop/cat/search pages. The mini cart updates fine on non-mobile (above 991px width), but below that the mini cart style changes and the red background with the number doesn’t update correctly with AJAX. I also had trouble getting the Yith plugins to work with the new update, so I removed them.

One more thing, I make a lot of custom CSS changes to my site, and after several updates you guys seem to change CSS style names and make pretty major updates to the design and functionality. While this may seem like “updates” it’s actually annoying because it forces me to retest every part of the website and make sure it’s all working and looking ok. Please be considerate of us website owners who style our website ourselves, please try not to change class names or override styles as it messes with our brand.

It must be the cache issue at your end nothing else.

Really sorry for the inconvenience, but this is the demand of the situations, WooCommerce, WordPress, WP Bakery, etc updated and we have to update the Theme for making it compatible with the plugins and WP, and for this, we need to change the Core files as well. We always want you to enjoy Porto, that is why we are adding more and more functionalities in it as well.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 21/05/2017. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

I have installed a preconfigured shop and now everytime I go to my website there is a kind of popup which ask me to introduce my email for Porto mail list. How can I switch off this message in the configuration? Is this a functionality of the theme? If it is, How can I configure it in order to use my own image and message in the pop up to collect e-mails?

The Size Guide Tabel comes from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Woocommerce >> Single Product Page: https://prnt.sc/iog8ke and you can see in the screenshot clearly that Block is being used to create that tab so go to Blocks find the particular Block: https://prnt.sc/iog8kv and just edit and change as per your requirement and as you said that you want to disable/remove the Size guide tab from Single Product Page so just remove the Block Slug name from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Woocommerce >> Single Product Page: https://prnt.sc/iog8ke and check your site after removing the browser cache.

You have to set the Shop/Category page layout from Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product Archive.

You have to set the Single Product Page layout from Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product as per your requirements.

Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> General >> Live Search and turn ON the Live Search from there and then go to Plugins and deactivate Yith WooCommerce Ajax Search plugin and then check your site after removing the browser cache, I hope you will find Live search working, This is the default functionality of the Theme, Live Search and Yith WooCommerce Ajax Search will not work together, you can only use one at a time.

WhatsApp Click-To-Call would be really great to have. Currently WhatsApp Click-to-Share is the only choice in the theme. For Ecommerce sites, adding WhatsApp Click to Chat (On Web and on mobile both) , to start a chat with the site owners, would be really appreciated. There are 3rd party plugins and scripts but since you know inside out of the theme, you would do it the best way without breaking anything..

Have the theme on two sites and really appreciate this feature.

Sorry to say that but there is no option in the Theme for setting up the sidebar background image, you have to do it with the help of Custom CSS and then paste that CSS into Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS, it will work for you.

Hi – I did make a comment on your sister theme – for Spotify. I realized I was commenting on the wrong Theme.
  • You answered me in the other forum saying I can have two instances of your Theme installed (one on my live site and one on my sandbox (test) environment.) Yet I read where you told another person that it’s possible to ever have only one copy of this theme active. So…how can I have two website running in parallel of one another with only one license? I need to have two sites running so I can compare and test my changes in sandbox with my changes to my live site.

    First of all thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.

    All Theme Forest products allow One license for each domain on which you will install the theme (sub-domains or multi-site installation does not matter though).

    So regardless of a number of clients, license works with a number of domains. So if you are building 10 websites, you need to purchase 10 regular licenses for that etc… These are license usage policy of Theme Forest (and we have no control over this), you may wish to confirm from Theme forest here:

    There is no unlimited usage license.

    Hi Great theme. How do you set up a page to display both left and right sidebars on the same page? I can only find an option to display one or the other but not both. I can see it can be done in various demos, so I know I must be overlooking something. Please can you advise?

    Hi, Obviously what I am about to complain is a “BUG”! After a lot of customization, I just noticed that the Porto One Page Category has some abnormalities in it. I have opened a ticket concerning this, but the team handling this issue seems not to understand me.

    I have finished creating my product categories, and sub-categories, but surprisingly, only one or two of the category has the subcategories shown on the Porto One Page Category section of the site. My major question is what preference is this section using to show sub-categories? How does one control the flow, and structure of the drop-down menu under the Porto One Page Category?

    Hi, I just want to know how to adjust the height of header-top, header-main and header-bottom plz. In fact, it seems that bigger are the objects (main menu, logo, etc) in those blocks, bigger are the margins top and bottom. For example, I try to put a “big” logo (300×150) but the margins top and bottom (from header-top and header-bottom) inscrease a lot. I just want to adjust the sizes of the blocks independantly of the sizes of the containers (respecting the max size of course)

    Yes, you have to do it with the help of Custom CSS and the height of the header shrinks with the size of the Logo, The bigger the Logo will, the bigger the height of the header will, because it auto adjust the header height for fitting the Logo in it but if you want to change the height as per your requirements, Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and change the value as per your requirements.

    Yep fine, the header-main is ajusted now but not the logo. Logo has still the same margin top and size Now, I would like to reduce margin -top and bottom of the logo. What is the class name please ?

    Hi. Two questions:

    1- Is there minimum size requirements for single-product page? Because when I put 300×300 featured image for product, and when hover over it on single product page, on top-left corner of the featured image html region, just overlapping the featured image itself, pops up another same image, but nothing else…Zoom doesn’t work at all…But when I chnage the featured image to another one like 800×800..then it works fine…Problem is, I have imported a products .csv and there are several such images with 300×300…I can NOT bug for them neither I have chance to get 800×800 replacements.

    2- When my pages are loading Font sizes (and styles maybe) are changing, and all are visible to the visitor. And then when page loaded switches back to how they should be. But a very irritating and ugly experience…how to avoid it? NOTE: Zoom type is “INNER”

    well…I managed to upload finally…it seems the file type must be ”.zip”...that’s over….but this time I can not see this new custom font in the drop down items inside theme options>>skin>>typography? How to see it here?

    Yes, the Font file you tried to upload into Theme must be the complete Font file in a zip format. No any other format will work. and if you are not able to see the Font under Typography after uploading it to the Theme Options then it must be the Font File issue, Please try once again with the proper and complete Font File, I am sure it will work for you and please be patience now once your ticket will resolved you will get the reply of your ticket.

    Quick View pop-up still not working after newest update, an issue created (or rather broken) by the last update. Staff at support even acknowledged and verified it wasn’t working on their end as well, yet still no fix. Please handle this issue.

    Again, the Quick View pop-up is not working on individual products, when clicked…you don’t get a Quick View pop-up, but are instead just taken to the product page itself.
