I’m a little disappointed. I have purchased this theme and set up a store, only to find out that the variation images are not working correctly. Is this going to be fixed in a new version of the Aurum theme? Or is it possible to remove the /aurum/tpls/woocommerce-product-images.php ? I tried using a standard Wordpress theme and that was working correctly, so it is the Aurum theme.

The variation images work properly, just make sure you have not updated to the latest WooCommerce version which was released yesterday and the theme is not yet compatible with it.
If you have updated to the latest version of WooCommerce, please read this article Outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. You can downgrade to WooCoomerce 3.5.8 using the WP Rollback plugin until we release theme update that support WooCommerce 3.6 (learn more).

Thank you for your reply. I have Woocommerce 3.5.7, that’s not the issue. You can actually see on your theme page https://themes.laborator.co/aurum/fashion/product/bobble-beanie/ when you select a size, the first image is a duplicate of the second image. When you do not select a size, the first image(variable image) disappears. This means that with this theme for each size variation you have to add a separate variable image, otherwise the first image showing for each size will be a blank picture.
Fortunately I was able to fix this by replacing /aurum/tpls/woocommerce-product-images.php with the code copied from the Woocommerce file product-image.php (this can be found on github: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/templates/single-product/product-image.php) This restores the thumbnail gallery to standard behavior without blank images if no variable images are uploaded. Please fix this in a future version, I’ll be happy to provide more information if you need it. Thank you

Currently evaluating themes for a t-shirt/apparel/accessories shop. Do you have a page in your demo or a link to screenshots showing the various theme options in the wp admin? I use Avada on several client sites and that has an extensive theme options to configure everything (which I love), so hoping for something similar. Overall your theme looks great for an online store based on your demo.

Aurum like Avada uses WooCommerce which is has the same options and also a lot of more options than just a normal shop, because the main purpose of this theme is shopping. Can you please specify which options do you want to see so I can take a screenshot from the admin area or record a video so you can see.

Hi Art, thanks so much for the reply. There are too many to list here, but I’m just referring to a theme options panel, allowing the global configuration of all the website’s various elements (site width, boxed or full width options, typography fonts/sizes, button colors, header styles, amount of footer widget columns, footer/header padding, overall styling of the website etc…). If you’re familiar with Avada, you know they have an extensive theme options section allowing the configuration of basically everything throughout the site. Rarely do I have to add any custom CSS to accomplish the look/style I’m going for on any given client site. Hopefully that makes sense and I’m not overcomplicating my question.

I am not familiar with Avada’s options but Aurum cannot be compared to the most popular WordPress theme ever, Aurum has many options in the theme options and also uses a page builder so you can create your own page layouts but you cannot customize the whole layout without using custom CSS.

Hi, this is a pre-sale question. I saw on Aurum demo web, in the additional information tab, you display many other fields of a book like this. And as far as I have known, WooCommerce does not allow the theme to modify its display and add more content like this. Even each information is a taxonomy/category which will have their own archive page. Is this an add-on feature I need to buy more, or is there a setting within the theme?

This is a WooCommerce feature which has been introduced lately, there is an option if you want to allow the attributes to have archives and be linkable so they can be filtered.

Hi after installing UberMenu and configuring as your demo I no longer have the sticky menu option as you have on the fashion demo. Everyting else with menu works great just no longer sticky menu header. The option is still enabled in back end under the theme to use the sticky menu. This just happened after setting up ubermenu. hopefully you can help. Thanks
