seems that there are some isues with instagram widget. Even with latest bridge version. Why do we still have http://demo.qodeinteractive.com url request ? after clicking instagram ” I accept”, we are redirected to blank page, and bridge does not connect. is there any here ?! thx.

We are sorry to hear you’ve experienced trouble doing latest theme update. Just note that right procedure for doing update of Bridge is to: – first update our theme, here are instructions http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/2-getting-started/2-3-installing-the-bridge-theme/2-3-4-theme-update/ – then to install/activate our new Bridge Core plugin and after you could update other of our plugins. You’ll see message about this plugin in your dashboard and just follow it in order to install it https://www.screencast.com/t/n8dhuezqWe0 Also, make sure to have parent theme activated while doing this update. Then if you have child theme and made some modification in functions.php code of your child theme, just check if you are using any method with “qode” prefix and replace it with “bridge_qode” After this, you are able to activate child theme, too. Everything should be working well. Please, let us know how it goes.

With every update to the Core our site is gets slower and slower. Even using Key CDN, correctly configured our load times are creeping up to 15 seconds. Switching to the WP2019 fee reduces the load time by 10 seconds!! It has been recommended that we must resolvie the large times being added by the dynamic callbacks (e.g. https://uniexpress.co.uk/wp-content/themes/bridge/css/style_dynamic_callback.php?ver=3d4b11817bb2cf6b2ca1c76fdc6eda13 and https://uniexpress-67af.kxcdn.com/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/css/js_composer.min.css?ver=5.7

We have no idea how to do this but are we aware of another 6 sites with this same issue. What are these callbacks and why are they adding such a long load time?

This callback script are called when assets folder is not writable. So, please, try just to set permission to 755 value on the whole folder wp-content/themes/bridge/css. Then go to Qode Options and randomly hit “save” button in order to generate new static scripts. Please, let us know how it goes. Thanks

That folder is already 755 and always has been! I checked a couple of other sites showing the same issue and those two are 755. What other cuase of this could there be? I am sure that I am not the only user with Bridge load times averaging over 10 seconds even though they are on high end server environments

Im getting a blank home page since the update and I have done all the above things, it appears that the issue is only with the home page, and I even reinstalled the core theme and disabled all third party plugins, when Im logged in I can see the home page when I am logged out its just a blank page, but I do not have a caching plugin.. HELP!!!

the core plugin is knocking out our blog pages and single posts. has there been a template change and do we need to add any blog related pages to our child theme templates folder?

actually it was the templates folder. we had made some changes to some php files and it seems that your recent update has refactored code. Updating the new bridge templates into the child theme and amending to the code we had changed resolved the issue.

Hi! I would like to make screen size 769px-991px to look like screen size 991px-999px. basically to make to have it go directly from phone mode (max-width:769) to tablet layout (min-width:992px). In the settings there are only 4 screen modes so I can’t figure out how to control this one. Is there a way to do it with costume CSS? thank you!

Yes, shortcodes are now moved in Bridge Core plugin. Here is path to slider file wp-content\plugins\bridge-core\modules\shortcodes\shortcode-elements\_slider\slider.php
