The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.

Edge Core plugin is required and should be installed right after you installed Aalto. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to see theme options. So, if you can’t access your website, open up your ftp account and navigate to wp-content/plugins then remove edge-core folder and your Dashboard should appear again. Once you log in, update Aalto theme and you’ll be provided with notification to install new Edge Core version.

We have enabled social sharing on Portfolio pages and Blog pages. But when we share using FaceBook, the page content like Featured Image, post title, description, doesn’t get shared. Instead the default data like website logo, website name etc. is pulled. We have also enabled Open Graph from the Edge theme settings.

Hello. I have the same problem with other users. The white lines that form a house-like shape in the revolution slider of main homepage are not present as layers in the slider. I cannot edit them since they do not exist as layout layers, but they are displayed in the frontend… I already submited a support ticket but is has been two days and no answer yet..

Our demos might appear slow, but this is only because we are showcasing lots of images with the highest quality. As such these images are not optimized and are making the load times higher.
Also, our demo pages try to showcase all options at once, so you can see all the possibilities the theme could offer.

To translate any label in the theme, you would have to use a 3rd party plugin, such as WPML or Loco Translate or Polylang.
This way, you’d be able to translate string of any kind, including the Widget Area names and titles, as well as WooCommerce labels. These plugins are quite straight-forward and easy to use even for the least experienced users.

Edge Portfolio plugin section jQuery is conflicting with the rest of the site. A lot of my custom jQueries give error when the portfolio custom type in enabled, once I disable it from code, all the issues vanish.
Also In my first install, edge portfolio option section had no options at all, after second install I got the option panel. what can be cause of this issue, can you provide me current code for edge-portfolio that I can download and upload on my site.

Aalto works perfectly in our local installation with all portfolio types selected, so there must be an issue on your side.

In fact, it depends on which header type you’re using, widget areas for side area opener are different and we couldn’t know that unless we see your website. Now that we do, we can tell you to go to Appearance > Widgets > Header Widget Menu Area and remove side area opener from there

Since you updated WordPress to version 5+, all you should do is to install Classic Editor plugin to continue working on a way you used to, with WPbakery page builder. That should be enough, since our theme is compatible with latest WP version.
