Hi, we are considering to purchase this theme. Nice work. We need some clarifications on certain features before we proceed.
1. Can i set content add restrictions ? I want to allow only qualified users to upload content. Others can just view, save and share content.
2. Does the theme have editorial and front-end publishing features ?
3. While on a post page ? Where is the button for user to Like the post and button to save it as favourite for viewing in future ? May be like a bookmark ?
4. Do you have sort options on feeds ? When you search for content by category or even on home page – Can we sort content by highest-rated, most liked, views, most discussed or latest recent posts ?
5. Translation – Language select option. Is there an option to auto-translate the contents of site based on the language user selects ?
6. Is there a limit on number of categories? Is there a page that displays list of all categories and sub-categories, that user can click on and select content he wants. I would like to have 40 + categories
7. Does it have RTL language support for Arabic ?

Thank you for your interest in or theme.
1. There is no content ad restriction implemented by default. You will have to use plugins in this regard.
2. The thee does not have any front-end submission/ publishing features. Posts are created in the default WP way using the dashboard.
3. There is an option for users to like the post on facebook but unless they add the post as a bookmark in their browser, there is no such implementation added.
4. Sorry but there are no options for feeds. Feeds are handled by WordPress and plugins.
5. The content cannot be auto-translated. The theme does have a translation system but it does not translate your content. Our theme is compatible with WPML if you need advanced translation controls and multi-lingual support.
6. There is no limit to the number of categories.
7. Sorry but our themes do not have RTL support.

O problema cu meniul pentru mobil. In momentul in care intru de pe mobil, imi apare meniul dar daca fac click pe unul dintre meniuri nu se intampla nimic. Ce trebuie sa fac. Multumesc

Cele mai des intalnite probleme legate de meniu sunt solutionate prin dezinstalearea pluginului care afecteaza functionalitatea maniului. De obicei este un plugin care cauzeaza problema.

Most likely you have a background image or color. Please remove the background image or color and then the stretch row will work again.

It says: “Visual Composer is REQUIRED”.
Then it says “OPTIONAL” plugins:
- tagDiv Social counter
- Visual Composer
- Mobile theme
So which is it? Required or optional?

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have fixed that guide. It should have said tagDiv Composer instead of Visual composer. Thank you for pointing this out/ TagDiv Composer is required WPBakery is optional

Hi! After your last update my website was crashed. It was because I didn`t have your tagdiv composer plugin. When I enabled it – everything was fine.
But the truth is – I don`t want this plugin. I don`t need it. It just slows down my website. And if I deactivate it – my website got crashed again.

The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the customers that use WP Bakery Page Builder with our Theme:
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used. Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Please note that activating the tagDiv Composer doesn’t mean that you are required to use our custom page builder on your website. You can use the WP Bakery page builder as you did before the update We recommended you to do not use the tagDiv Composer and WP Bakery page builders on the same page though, because you cannot edit with WP Baker blocks and shortcodes created with tagDiv Composer or vice-versa.
Please make a backup for your website before updating. If you need help, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread on forum.tagdiv.com or send us an email with all the details at contact@tagdiv.com.

Does Newspaper theme still need WPBakery Page Builder plugin? Is it OK to remove that plugin? The plugin ask me to activate the license.

Since we created our own page builder, WPBakery was no longer a required plugin. This was starting with Newspaper 8.0 back in 2017. You can remove wpbakery but make sure you use the tagdiv composer as you still need a page builder to render the theme shortcodes.

There is no save button when I edit content in “Text With Title” ?? How to save then?

the content is saved automatically. You simply have to close the window and your content will remain implemented. If it does not, check your browser console as you could be facing an error. Usually it is caused by plugins so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Finally Found The Solution. It was caused because of Rocket Loader being enable using CloudFlare.
If you are using CloudFlare then you will have to add a Page Rule for “https://www.techrrival.com/addic4-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php*”
and turn Auto Minify Off and Disable Performance.
I guess this will help lots of user and you should put somewhere in FAQs and stuff.

After the last update my site broke down. Constantly gives the error code 500. Disabling some of the plugins, by renaming the plugin folder, breaks the encoding of the site.How to fix?

Hello, when I want to say that I can not hide the ad on a page, what to say in a specific post, for example, I make a subject paid for by some company, so I do not want ads to not appear in this specific post, but the theme does not has this function, so I have to use a plugin for this feature, but I did the theme exactly so I did not use the plugin anymore.

Since the cloud library plugin was implemented, this is possible to create a custom post style where you do not place any ads. That post style can also have a custom header set up in the new header manager where again you can remove the ads to have a template without any ads. Yes, I understand how to do it, but the problem is that the ads continue to appear for smartphones, I’m using the mobile theme. So I can only hide the ads if I use only the theme in responsive mode? in this case neither the AMP will be able to use, since the ads also can not appear in this post. If you do not have the option to disable ads on certain mobile smartphone posts, you must add this feature as soon as possible to make it more complete.

After the last update, I can’t access the admin area. I go to mysite.con/wp-admin, I enter the username and the password and then I get a dead blank page. I debugged and I get this error

I uninstalled the plugin wp-booster and checked; it did not work. The frontend is working apparently well.
I have seen that other people are having a similar issue after updating. For those people that do not know how to access the admin area, I could access it by using this: mysite.com/wp.login.php

I have put up a support ticket, but for anyone else just in case you have this problem, our website https://www.guitarandmusicinstitute.com was working fine and have been using Newspaper for quite some time. Added the update (very latest version) and our site has crashed. What I saw was the Newspaper plugin area trying to update the various plugins and in every case it said there was an AJAX error….now the site is dead. Hoping that something can be done to rectify this situation quickly!!!
I’m happy to say that the team behind GMI Guitar & Music Institute have got the website up and running again. It always seems to be a nerve racking affair to deal with updates for the Newspaper theme…will it or won’t it break.
Love the theme, hate having to deal with the updates!

Hi, how can I disable mobile theme after the last update, I have never used it but now my site is just an empty gray page when visited on a smart phone. I already deactivated mobile plugin, and uninstall it and cleared cache but the gray page remains. I don’t want to use the mobile theme how can I disable it for good please???
