Most likely you have a background color or image set that makes the them go into boxed mode. Please remove any background image or color you have set in the theme panel in order to have stretchable elements.

How long does Newspaper usually take to become compatible with Minor Wordpress updates (5.2 was released today)?

Usually it takes until the next theme update but we do provide quick fixes via our support platform for urgent issues if they are found. We try to release an update every few weeks so it should not take long if the need arises. So far it seems to work fine though. There was no issue encountered in our initial tests.

There is a conflict with the “WP USER FRONTEND” plugin.
Post settings will disappear when this plugin is enabled.

If the post settings are enabled in the screen options/options https://www.screencast.com/t/WmOPAfB6s https://www.screencast.com/t/1Bm8OZsCwt Then they should appear. If they don’t, and they appear when that plugin is deactivated, then it would be a conflict with the plugin. I can’t say why this is happening, we made no testing with the theme and the the plugin up to this point.

this shit is super broken. i installed the wordpress file and it broke my site. now i need to reinstall my whole wordpress. lots of peculiar things wrong with this package for being “one of the most used wordpress templates”...avoid.

That is not possible by a theme option. Authors can create and publish posts due to WordPress default capabilities, the theme will not interfere with this functionality or add an automatic payment option for the authors. Maybe there are plugins for this, I can’t say for sure.

The single template files and many others have been moved in the tagDiv composer plugin. This happened in the 9.7 update https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/

when i use it in the live CSS it shows in all versions (desktop,..) one product in a line. that isnt what im looking for. Why it isnt possible to insert the code in mobile Advanced CSS mode?

Thank you for your interest in our theme.
1) The theme as well as WordPress can support multiple authors but not on the same article. For that you will need to use plugins.
2) The interface is not changed from the default WordPress posts section in the back-end
3) No, the theme does not add any approval system. You can maybe find plugins that can offer such implementation.
4)There is no reward point implementation. Sorry.

In these cases,you need to make sure you use at least php 7.2 and make sure you have the WordPress and php memory set as this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If this does not fix the issue, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cpanel access so we can login and investigate why this happens.

Hello, it seems you are not trying to understand my question.
the page templates tutorial doesn’t explain how to “TURN OFF PAGE TITLES” on individual pages, Infact, I discovered that your theme does not allow us to Turn Off a lot of things on “PAGE PER PAGE” Basis.
I should be able to turn off any feature on a particular page if I do not require it on that page, I do this a lot by ticking a Box in most themes but am not seeing such feature here. it seems anything that is set from the them panel works forcefully on all pages, you can’t just switch one feature like ” Page title” off on individual pages.

I’m not sure what you mean. The page template is selected on each individual page.
It is not a global option. It is a ‘per page’ option.
On each individual page you can select the page builder + page title or the page builder+ latest articles or simply the default template. If you use a default template on that page simply editing it with the tagdiv composer will make the title go away. On the default template once a page builder is detected, the page title no longer shows up.
