Currently there are some issues that happen when the child theme is active, after the latest update. These are being investigated and will be fixed as soon as possible. If you deactivate the child theme are the issues fixed? If they are, then maybe it would be better to keep the child theme deactivated for the time being.
If they aren’t, then the cause may be other. We could take a look in this case, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Mention in the email more details about each of the issues.

The lightbox is not related to the child theme. in version 9.7.3 the general modal image encountered a problem and the modal must applies manually to the images from post edit. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will fix this as soon as possible.

How can I get theme options without installing the tagdiv plugins. Using latest version.

That will not be possible after the latest updates. The tagDiv composer is a required plugin, so it has to be active. For example, without it there will not be a theme panel. So at least the composer needs to be enabled. Let us know if you have more questions.

Hi all,
I have a couple of feature suggestions for native integration.
1. Build into widgets a native way of display/hide visibility of a specific widget on a sidebar.
2. Build in guest author for newspaper. Ability to upload photos mall bio and HTML link to they website. This may better for guest authors than signing them up, especially ones without a gravatar.

Why doesn’t Visual Composer work when TD Composer is enabled? When I’m in the backend trying to edit a page I can only see Visual Composer’s shortcodes. Once I disable TD Composer, Visual Composer works fine but then the website alignment was off. So the website looks good with TD Composer enabled but once I disabled it to use only Visual Composer the website fronted alignment goes off. Why is this happening?

Without the tagDiv composer there will be no blocks, grids or theme provided shortcodes in the WPBakery element list. If the tagDiv composer is enabled those elements will appear in WPBakery list https://www.screencast.com/t/m5XWats9
Or maybe you mean something else. If the page you are editing with WPBakery contains tagDiv composer specific elements, or multi-purpose elements, these won’t be recognized by WPBakery. Pages built with the tagDiv composer should be edited only with it. Same with WPBakery pages, they should only be edited with WPBakery.
After the last few updates the tagDiv composer has to be active in order to maintain the same functionality as before. You could use WPBakery alongside it however.

TD composer is not flexible, it has nothing to do with your suggestions. Honestly I tried, I’ve been doing website development for over 10 years now. Rather than giving people options between WP Bakery (Visual Composer) or any other page composer at that you decided to force TD Composer by coupling it with the themes CSS structure.
So users have to keep it enabled but by keeping it enabled WP Bakery isn’t working at all (in the Back-end and forget Front-End because that option isn’t even available).
Now it’s forcing me to use TD or it won’t work (If I disable TD, WP Bakery works). My only option is to hack TD Composer codes to disable its page builder feature. Great going!
Yep! the minute I disable line 79 “do_action( ‘tdc_loaded’ );” in plugins/td-composer/td-composer.php WP Bakery works perfectly in the backend. The theme doesn’t look too good in the front end, but I will certainly figure this out even if you don’t want to help.

What version of wobakery are yo using? The latest tested and recommended version is 6.0.2 If you updated the plugin from the plugin author, please note we have not yet made the adaptaton in the current version of our theme and we will only add compatibility for 6.0.3 in the next theme update. What if you temporarily disable the current caching, does the same happen? I don’t have a guide to provide using the caching plugin you mention, we only tested the theme with WP super cache which works properly with both the theme and the mobile theme. Other plugins, caching implementations, or settings from them, could create various issues. Maybe you could give the super cache a try, see how it does.

See, I’m using the WP super cache plugin only when I started my blog but still the issue is coming some pages are not opening on mobile some of them are not opening in desktop and sometimes it shows the old theme in mobile sometimes it shows the mobile theme on the desktop I’m using WP super cache as per your documentation on your website I have cleared all the cache of my server, WordPress, mobile, desktop as well. But still it is not solved and also I have uploaded the new logo for my mobile theme but the logo is not fully appearing also it is showing the old logo in the mobile but in desktop it is showing the new one reply my mail I have 6 month support period I just got this theme I have mailed you all the details including problem videos, purchase code, domain name and much more details for more clarification please please solve this issue it’s been 4 days I haven’t started my website due to this issue

Featured Image not sharp on home page. I’ve read through your recommendations on others posts about making sure to utilize a large photo. My featured image is being tested with a whopping 5000×3000 image and it’s still not clear on the homepage preview. All of them, from small to massive, just aren’t sharp on the homepage. I’m using Lifestyle Mag, Default Post Template. Everything else is working great, thanks for the great theme.

By default the theme doesn’t come with og data, we recommend the Yoast SEO plugin plugin for that. With it you can enable the necessary og for sharing, also use it to set titles and descriptions.

Sorry TagDiv – your TDcomposer/page builder is not user friendly. Im sad to say that i am abandoning this theme. Bring back WPBakery and ill be excited to use the theme again. Sucks because i really enjoyed the theme until you started the TDComposer.

You can still use WPBakery if that is what you want, this builder is still provided with the theme. However the tagDiv composer will have to be active as well, to maintain the same theme functionality as pre 9.7 update. Our composer can seem complex, but it just takes some getting used to. It provides a great deal of flexibility in building pages, and together with the cloud library plugin it is possible to design templates as well.
If users need guidance in using it, there is always the support forum where we and the community try our best to help.
Maybe in the future you will reconsider using our composer. We will improve it and optimize it even more, add more elements in it, more template designs in the cloud library etc.

Hi, I need help I have made changes to my website with the theme panel but the changes is not appearing when I open my site through mobile and desktop, Also When I access my site through browser sometimes it open the mobile version of the site and also some of the content is not appearing

Most likely this is related to caching. Some caching plugins can cause the mobile theme to display on desktop, which should not happen. Also they can prevent changes made in the backend from being displayed in the website, but in this case most caching plugins have settings to not provide a cached version for logged in users, so if you are logged in you should see the changes. We recommend the WP super cache where possible, with these settings https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
The super cache should not cause problems with the mobile theme. You could install this plugin, configure it as mentioned in the guide and check the results.

I bought Newspaper theme about 2 years ago and the plugin Visual Composer was included with its licence. I just updated the theme and now I have to pay $45 to get the licence and use it. All the propositions to solve the problem is to renew the support or buy the complete licence. This is not a problem of support but a problem of respect of the deal we had. Could you please help me get the right of use I got on your website 2 years ago?

I have got my theme refund in how to transfer that refund fund into the bank.
The developer’s website is down. Hopefully they are able to sort that out so customers can follow the instructions to update the theme.
