Hi Team, Been a long time supporter of the theme since v 1.0.. Just updated to the latest core – but have an issue with the “auto play background video for mobile devices” – the setting doesn’t save.. Anyway we can fix this?
Hi zcd! Unfortunately we don’t have other users reporting the same problem, can you please try to disable all extra plugins? Do you have red error message on your System Status?
I’m assuming it’s due to 2-3 major upgrades of the theme.. No other errors or anything like that, literally looks like the database entry hasn’t been created for that object perhaps. All green ticks for System status too.
I had to re-upload the media in order for it to “save” the “autoplay background” feature! Works now though – so good job! Waited many years for this!

I am not sure I understand this correctly, it says here that “f the site uses some tracking codes inserted in the Theme Options → CSS/JS > Tracking, and consent has not been confirmed, the tracking codes will not be inserted into the pages.” – but what consent? I have many on my webiste, how can I map my consent option(yes/no) to the tracking code? There is an option to grab the consent with the php and Javascript option , but that doesn’t sound like the right solution for this issue

I am looking to buy this theme but there is something very important I am hoping to be able to do first before I make the purchase.
I am a freelance entrepreneur. I specialize in Digital Media (so photo, video, digital marketing and web dev). I want to re-do my website on the Uncode theme. The way I want my website to be is that I want each specialty (photo and video, digital marketing and web dev) to be a different sub-domain representing a different business. So photography.alroyndhlovu.com or alroyndhlovu.com/photography. This I am looking to do so I have a unique look for each business offering and be able to target each business differently.
If I purchase the Uncode theme, will I be able to use my one purchase to create different versions of my website on the different sub-domains. So its one domain but it’ll have different sub-domains representing the different business. I would like to duplicate the theme on each sub-domain but create a different homepage on each for each business.
I hope you understand what I mean? Will I be able to do this with my one purchase or do I have to purchase separate licenses?

in the “shop boutique” template there is a problems with header. When I try to change the images (exactly same size than placeholdres) , 2 BIG BLACK BORDERS come out at the top and at the bottom of the header. Can you fix this bug? Hey again, absolutely loving the layout! Just wondering how to remove the grey title bar from the top of new pages? I selected ‘title off’ in the settings, but the grey bar is still showing. Amazing theme!

My issue is with displaying the Google Map module. I have followed the steps, got myself and API key from the cloud platform, but I still get the “ApiNotActivatedMapError” after saving it in Theme Options > Google Maps.

Yes it was from demo 2 years ago I had that one installed and now I’m rebuilding website and it’s gone there is no such page in new version of uncode

Yes this is an old layout that was removed in recent versions. Anyway it’s pretty easy just a dark header with a fullscreen portfolio. Do you need help to recreate this?
Hi. I have migrated my site from localhost to live and have updated all the page/post urls but urls within WPbakery such as buttons or columns do not update. Is there way of doing this without having to do each one manually? I have tired using the plugins ‘Search & Replace’ and ‘Velvet Blues Update URLs’ but they do not capture there urls. Thank you
Hi Matthewdf! I’m sorry but I’m not sure about this one, we generally use All In One Migration and never found this problem. Anyway the ‘Search & Replace’ should do the trick since anyway they are stored in the DB.

Hi, is it possible to use html tags in excerpts ?
I tried to add a function in function.php and also with a plugin (Advanced Excerpt Options) but Uncode seems to use its own function to display the excerpt.

I have to display ACF fields in the excerpt. shortcodes are displayed correctly but HTML tags are not taken into account.

At your one risk of course, since it can broke the layout, as I said, and the change can be done to the parent theme only, not a child, since it is something of the core.

Without knowing the plugins you’re talking about I can only say that we try to provide compatibility with all the major plugins and, most of all, the ones the follow the WP best practices. Of course if you need to use a particular plugin and it doesn’t work with the theme, just ask a refund and specify that in your request. Our support center, however, is available before doing that to clarify possible doubts.

yes there is: you only have to add a Call To Action menu. No, I’m sorry, the secondary menu is appended at the bottom of the items of the primary menu with the overlay and off-canvas layout. You can display it at the top of the site with horizontal menus only.

Hello I have updated the theme and all plugins (after a long time to be honest) and now Theme options don t work. More specifically, after I press “Save Changes” it is trying to load and after a lot of time it ends up redirecting me to a 404 page..

I have asked my host company, and they say that the problem is that they have blocked xmlrpc.php file. As far as I know, if they unblock it, then the site will be vulnerable to DDOS attacks

404 is for definition a resource that is not found or accessible in the server, not a code error and again if this is a problem of the new version here you should read about 50.000 similar reports (or at least 10, 100 or 1000). A plausible idea is therefore that you had already run out of resources (or other new users have finished them since you’re on a shared) and you didn’t notice since you didn’t save the Theme Options. Now you see it because after the update you have to save the TPs. In any case, as mentioned in the article, it is linked to few and limited server resources.

How can I make the text on this “quote carousel” white? The “skin” has already been set to “dark” in its column settings, but it keeps showing in a different colour. The site: https://alter.cat/product/alt001/
I also have a similar problem with the revolution slider which is set as header on https://alter.cat/ - on the first slide the menu skin displays as “light” although it’s set to “dark” using the data-skin=”dark” setting in the custom fields, as in all other slides. It only fails on the first one however, displays perfectly on the others, and even on this one on the second iteration.

we are investigating, however it seems that in your case you only have to set the skin to light, since some stile in the paragraph of the blockquote overwrites the ones of the blockquote itself.
About the issue with RevSlider: I see it fine https://undsgn.d.pr/yKoqdW Maybe I haven’t understood what you mean correctly. Could you clarify? What browser and OS do you use?

changing the skin has no effect whatsoever, but at least I managed to make it more readable by changing the font through “Column Font Family”.
issue with RevSlider: that’s the thing, it doesn’t “always” happen, just sometimes. Tried on different platforms and browsers, mostly Ubuntu (Mozilla and Chrome), and under Android (Chrome). https://pasteboard.co/IiJUtcZ.jpg from Android running Chrome—Menu is hidden but logo appears in black https://pasteboard.co/IiJUJIk.jpg same setting, on the second slide logo changes to white. Btw, how can I hide the logo or make it smaller on mobile? I think I saw the option somewhere but can’t remember where—as you can see the logo interferes with the RevSlider on mobile.Thanks again

About RevSlider, you could use the Page Builder module inside a Content Block instead of setting the slideshow from the Page Options and use that Content Block as header: in this way you’ll be able to set the skin to the column that contains the slideshow, and you shouldn’t see issues anymore on the first slide. Let me know if you need further help or explanations about that.

RevSlider: I’ll try using it as a header through content block, ok. I’ve also noticed another glitch, on mobile some of the RevSlider content doesn’t show (again on first iteration only). Any suggestions?
