Tutorial is actual. For categories, if you need quick way, use taxonomy archive module. It will show all categories at once.

Are you saying that changing the site width is supposed to change the size of the sidebar on the page, but leave the overall page size the same? If not, could you please answer how to?

Also, you are using very very outdated theme version. I recommend to use latest 9.0 and Elementor instead of Visual composer. This will improve your design

because you added empty paragraph. try to delete all spaces after shortcode. Also, you can use HTML widget instead Text.

I found some issues. Anyway, if you want to add multiple offers to external product, I recommend you to use Offer module of Content Egg plugin (it’s bundled with theme). This will give you much more options how to show links, because all Content Egg templates will work. Filters are possible only for search among products of your site

Also, you can use Search module of page builder (but it has no filters, just search form)

Of course, because Content Egg affiliate frontend search is make search on external sites and it’s very slow. It’s made only as additional function for users. We don’t recommend to use it as main search. You must add products on your site and them, use inner search. Advanced search filter plugin is for inner search and doesn’t have any connection to Affiliate search which you use
