I recently update to 9.7.3 and notice it prevent AdSense Ads and also Ad Inserter from diplaying/serving Ads. We had to revert to old version to get it working. Kindly fix or suggest fix.

We are not aware of any problems with the ads in the current theme version. Adsense works fine in all of pour test platfroms and we see lots of users daily that use adsense ads with the current theme version but there are no issues presented. After updating to 9.7 version and installing tagdiv composer i get a “Error at zones: 5(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content” error that freezes my homepage when i try to edit it.
What does this mean and how is it resolved?

The big update came with a big crash. I sent 2 emails to support, but probably because my support expired (I bought the theme a long time ago), they just didn’t care. Or maybe they cannot do anything. No answer, no update, no nothing. I needed to rebuild manually all my pages. They caused me one week delay for a big marketing campaign. I am looking to buy some other theme, because I won’t have the courage to make another update when it comes. This is for the no. 1 best selling… whatever…

Before updating we recommended where possible to create a test environment (development copy of the website) and update there first, especially if a child theme containing theme files is used. This was mentioned in the update changelog https://www.screencast.com/t/z578Oad0cJ
Sorry to hear that you had problems after the update, there could be issues in some cases given the modifications mentioned above. Both Newspaper Theme and Newsmag Theme are supported by the tagDiv team accordingly to the ThemeForest Item Support Policy -> https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy. In summary, the Themeforest policy states that once you purchase the theme, you receive a 6 months customer support period with the possibility to extend the support to 12 months if you need further assistance.

You’ve fixed some bags, but some other things spoiled you with a new version 9.7.3. Like as Cloud templates that no longer work with the activated child theme.

No, I think after the updating from 9.7.2 in 9.7.3. version of the theme. Cloud Templates are no longer working with Child theme. And, I installed the 9.7.2 version and all good works.
So, after updating from version 9.7.2 to 9.7.3 for some reason, Cloud Templates no longer work when Child theme is on. Cloud Templates are displayed in the Post template section, but the post when the selected template is not displayed in that template.
In the previous version 9. 7.2 all works good. (except Header 4 and Top Ad in combination)

Our theme has an option to show random posts from today https://www.screencast.com/t/nUHt3jew This way you can create a block which will only show today’s posts in order to get a “summary”. There are many block designs to choose from in this regard or you can create your own design using flex blocks.

This is only possible if you ad shortcodes to certain blocks manually inside the post content. Our theme functionality allows you to create custom post templates but you cannot add blocks inside of the post content using the page builder. You can add shortcodes manually though when writing the post.

One pre-sale question: Does your theme support “Get Featured image from content”? In other words, if I have not set a Featured image, the theme can fetch the first image from post content on ARCHIVE pages. Please kindly advise if your theme has this feature. Thanks!

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Unfortunately our theme does not have such a feature. Adding a featured image in the correct Wp featured image spot is required for the proper functionality of the post templates.

Some themes offer support through their forum once you bought their product indefinitely. TagDiv is not that kind of dev. I got an error that is definitely an issue with the theme and was about to post it on the forum however saw support seems to have been expired..lousy service if you ask me.

As far as I know currently there aren’t plans to introduce the features you mention. The recipe demo is based on the default theme, with additional design, but not additional functionality. Maybe there are plugins that can provide a recipe submit button, you could search for such plugins and give them a try.

It could happen due to the content inside the sidebar. If the issue doesn’t appear when the custom field is removed from the sidebar, then the issue is with it. You could double check if the custom field is implemented according to the provider documentation, also be sure that the code is valid. Also carefully check for unclosed tags through the code.

So the issue doesn’t happen right after setting the sidebar, but after a while? If you want us to take a look, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Also provide a valid license key.
Regarding auto ads for AMP, the theme has a section in the theme panel where the code can be entered https://www.screencast.com/t/XPdFgIvJN This is available starting with theme version 4.8.

It’s ridiculous the way that the support has running away of the problems that the latests releases of theme has. I’ve buied the theme a long time ago but I’m using then just now, my support are expired and I can’t solve problems that are caused by the latests versions of the update.
It’s a shame!! The documentation of Modal image show us a print of the classical editor to put the image as modal, but in the latest release of the WP, I haven’t the option to use the classical editor without a plugin, I want to use the Guttenberg editor but the resource of modal images, just…. doesn’t work.
And how I told, in the forum of TagDiv developer I can’t post nothing, the problem was made by the developer, I won’t ask to improve, made changes or ask some newbies questions that the documentations resolve. I woul’d like to resolve the problem in the core of theme!

So now to post or reply on the forum, you have to be in the premium support period.
Any problems that happened after the latest theme update will be solved as soon as possible, most likely in the next theme update. We treat all issues with utmost importance, and make them our priority.
Currently the modal image feature will work when using the classic editor, or if using Gutenberg by inserting the images with the classic element available in it https://www.screencast.com/t/BwpTNYZWl This may change in coming updates, we will try to provide this feature for the Gutenberg image element as well.
