I’m charging my client for a new website. Can I use a template for this on the regular license? I’m confused because there are 2 different licenses…

Hi maaaaaaaat,

The regular license allows you to activate the theme in local/staging environment and for one domain only, while the extended license allows you to activate the theme on any domain and local/staging environment.

So if you want a single license for a client install the regular license.

Hi, I just update the theme and it looks like the “Custom Skin Builder” doesn’t work any more. I already: 1. disabled all the plugins 2. deleted the “custom-skin.css” and rebuild it

Hi, I love your theme. It never fails!! Just have a question before purchasing it again: In the photography demo, when you see the images enlarged in the lightbox, it has a black background. It that a gif image? And can it be changed to white? Thanks

The lightbox can be switched to light or dark mode so no worries about that, you can select which skin you want to use.

I recently purchased the Kalium theme and I set up a sub domain test.yoursite.com for the installation, basically to let me train myself with the intention of moving it to the main domain yoursite.com I wanted to know if I would need to deactivate the license and reactivate it on the yoursite.com without issues.

Also wondering, I know I’ve read many times about the request for the function. I use the columned layout on portfolio items, and since I purchased have wanted my description underneath the uploaded content. I jus read several posts about it, but not sure if you ever implemented that as I can’t find anything relating to the CSS or settings to allow it. Thanks.

I wonder if anyone has asked – is It possible to popup a Lightbox with a Vimeo link in – there is no way to display a nice video only on a page, because everything I do I end up with god awful borders around the Vimeo – which is VERY annoying.

Hi there. Had to take my site down because it was hacked. In setting up a fresh wordpress installation in a fresh domain directory, I encountered one potential hole: the Portfolio Post Type plugin. Activating it now includes a link (above the portfolio tag list) on the homepage to an adult site called The Hookies. I’ve had to disable the plugin on my site, thereby messing up functionality, but at least I’m not advertising that site on my page anymore.

That plugin Portfolio Post Type is in the Wordpress directory and it doesn’t contain any malicious code but your “virus” infected that plugin and maybe other Wordpress files as well.

It would be better if you had used www.yoursite.com/staging to build the site and then when you finish the site move it to www.yoursite.com. License is valid for one domain only as you can read on this article Theme licenses and activation.

I deleted your old license, so now you can activate your product in its final domain.

Note: If you still see the old domain on your Product Registration page (screenshot) please just press x button, then you activate your theme again.

in order to develop the site i have to activate it on my webspace. Then the site will be transferred to the clients webspace. Therefore I will have to deactivate it and then reactivate it.

Anyway, If you can’t do that and want to use a different domain to develop your site then when you want to revoke the license just write a ticket on our dedicated support center and support team will revoke that license for you.

​Hey guys,

your theme completely collapsed my WP site. For the longest time it was super slow and portfolio items didn’t display properly.

I did updated the theme and plugins together with Wordpress but things got even worse.

As a last resort I tried to import again your Demo Content (and deleted all my styling) but to no success.

I don’t have no option of selecting the Portfolio Type anymore (lightbox, zigzag, carousell), I can not open portfolio slide show and I’m getting annoying error message on front-end, likely for each photo in a slideshow:

Please make sure that you have done those steps:

1— Make sure that you are using the latest version of Kalium, you can read the changelog here Kalium release notes.

2— Make sure that you have installed all the required theme plugins, for more info please read this article Kalium required plugins.

3— Make sure that you have installed Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin too and have deleted Advanced Custom Fields free plugins. Read this article Advanced Custom Fields 5.x .

4— If the problem is still happening then you should know that we don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work for you too. Please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Does kalium support product bundles or plugins like: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/ ?

Yes Kalium should support this plugin because we just modify WooCommerce style and not it’s functionality, and we also add some extra neat features that WooCommerce doesn’t offer.

Hey guys, I’m trying to install the code for GTM and this is the first time on a WP site I’m doing this. However I’ve read that you need to put it in the header.php but you want to do it on a child theme cause of the updates. So I’ve installed the Kalium Child but in the theme editor I can’t seem to find a file where the Head and Body tags are present and therefore I have no clue on what to do now :P Any suggestions? Thanks very much Ylli it did work.. Could you please brake a silence of how i could I hide that tricky menu menu bar… on page parameters and options there are good options to change the logo or hide the footer away but does not hides the menu.

to your general Custom CSS area or in the Parameters and Options > Custom CSS if you want to apply the CSS code for any specific page only.
