I have giving it another try, but i just can’t get it to work as I want. The whole location area is terrible for me! How can you get rid of area/neighborhood in sumbit & edit listing and also county in location when you submit or edit a listing!! Mama Mia!!

1. To remove default theme fields from submit you have the submit form management in theme options. De-select area and county (use keyboard CTRL and click to de-select and save. Help https://help.wprentals.org/article/1-30-how-to-manage-submit-form-fields-and-mandatory-fields/
2. Submit location can be managed in different ways:
a. Auto-complete for city (and address) with Algolia Places
b. Auto complete for city (google places) – which saves automatically country, area and city
c. Theme Auto-complete (people type in all city details and select country from a country list manually)
d. Dropdown for City, Area and Country

Thanks for explaining. I will give it another try. Can you tell me how i can add the image slider (property Listing page) from type_3 to the layout of type_1. Everything can stay the same just i want to have the slider on the top.
Another issue i ran in to is that when i use child-theme and i change for example an image in child theme, its not visible in front-end, so it lloks like its not using child theme afterall? Thanx

Maybe I am misunderstanding, so please send more details and please send this in ticket support as if there is a solution, it’s only in code and I would need to check with my colleagues anyway.

I did purchase the theme but I guess my support has just run out, but hoping you can help me with a quick question about my logo, I can’t seem to get it to fit correctly, it isn’t blurry just higher than I would like, I just would like to keep the same size of it but have it aligned with the login, sign up and submit property buttons, thanks so much for any help, the site is www.suitehub.io, I absolutely love the theme and will have to buy support again soon in the future! 
Hi, Thank you for the beautiful feedback. I am happy you’re enjoying the theme. Logo is showing max height 54px by default, but it’s correlated to your image. And for margin you have to add some margin top (a number only) in theme options
Your logo can be set with this css

BUT please consider making the logo smaller. It shows max height of 64 – so resize to that. Otherwise just increases your size page.

For now, and to fit our custom needs, I edit little pieces of code in your plugins and themes source files, but I’m planing to implement bigger changes. My plans make me curious about what you guys envision for the future of your software. I’ve seen some interesting trends in web development, like: Web Assembly, Node Js, and Progressive Web Apps. Are you guys planning any big change?
Also, have you thought about making WpEstate projects open source? I know there’s a lot of developers who use your themes and make changes to them. It could help you to improve the software faster, allowing other developers to submit contributions to the project.

Thank you for writing, I honestly don’t know what to answer to this proposal and that’s why I didn’t earlier.
I will think about it, but I don’t know if we can make the projects open source. We have a policy to follow to be on the market, specific requirements to be compliant (and we’re a real estate author who has the Envato compliance badge which took 1 year of work to get). You won’t see any author like us with 4 year old themes up to date to latest standards.
Anyway, I wouldn’t be able to put public our future ideas here We have a an author competitor who steals every feature we’ve developed and every idea innovative feature we’ve made (and we’ve made plenty, we’ll do more).
If you have suggestions you can send them to us, of course and we will study them for sure.

I’m part of a team of 5 Chileans who, since last year, run both a real estate agency (https://gesprobira.cl) and a vacation rental agency (https://vacacionesenpapudo.cl). We use WpRentals and WpResidence Wordpress themes. We’ve come to a point where most of our leads, in real estate, and sales, in vacation rentals, go through our websites. Now I’m trying to figure out a workflow and aim for developing and integrating new code into the websites. This brings some complications like: wasting time, developing the same features you’re working on; or difficulty integrating changes when WpEstate theme is updated. Since I want to put my hands on developing, and want to avoid the problems previously mentioned, I’m considering starting fresh with open source software.
How open source benefits WpEstate? I’m someone who runs real estate and vacation rental businesses. I’m your client, but we have the potential to become business partners. If you made WpResidence software open source, we would work together towards the same goal: developing the best software for Real Estate businesses, faster than ever before.

Pre-sale question: Is there a way, natively or using plugins, to schedule a location AND a service associated with that booking?
For example, I want to have a birthday party for my child at a bowling alley. I want to not only book the birthday room from that bowling alley, but I also want to schedule the services of Bongo the Clown to be there at the same time.
The goal is that the services and location would schedule at the same time, using the same transaction. Is there a way to create a cart functionality to accommodate this?

1. We have a translation for german and spanish from 2 clients, but may need to be edited with loco translate to be 100% . It’s still more than 50% done
2. The theme is designed to rent vacation homes, not hotels. So yes, you can use it like that. And you can be single owner too, with just 1 property.
3. We don’t have extra activities to rent. You can add extra options to booking form though https://help.wprentals.org/article/1-20-add-extra-options-in-booking-form/

Thank you for the interest in our theme. We don’t have Apple Pay, just standard Stripe.
As charging options, besides charging for submission, we have the booking admin service fee (can be a % or fixed amount for every booking to be confirmed) which is sent to admin for each booking and is deducted from total booking.

Thank you for the comment. For Admin to cancel a confirmed booking he has to login as owner to do that from owner account to be sure it’s done right. You can delete from admin – bookings too.

I would like to leave here a suggestion for future updates. Usage statistics for owners and administration:
Statistics for the owner:
- total visits to properties
- total bookings
- total contacts received
- total earned (based on confirmed bookings)
Statistics for the administrator:
- total visits to all properties
- total bookings
- total confirmed bookings
- total rejected reservations
- total contacts received by owner
- total earned by owners (based on all confirmed bookings)
July would not be very difficult to implement this and would be an asset to our owners and to us as well.

With Elementor Pro and when using Footer/Header the user dashboard save (redirect to next step) or go to links underneath dont work unless you ctrl click to new tab. Any idea why? Can you guys rectify this? It only happens if I use Elementor Pro footer/header template even if they are empty

I seem to be having a small issue with the booking dates. If someone books a property for 7 days (for example – 25th August – 31st August), it will only charge them for “6 nights”, so if a property is listed at £50 a night, the total fee is £300 and not £350 as it should be. Is there a way to alter this? Thanks

The booking works with a minim 24h (day meaning 24 h) so we consider and count 1 night between 2 days for a full 24 h.
In your example, the total is correct 25 – 31 is 6 nights
25-26 =1 26-27 = 1 27-28 = 1 28-29 = 1 29 – 30 = 1 30 – 31 =1
You can add a minimum 7 day booking requirement to force the calculation to be for 7 automatically – https://prnt.sc/omwytf .For 7×50 – Booking period is either 24-31 or 25-1st of sept

—> We have both as supported as page builders (to create a page with theme shortcodes and one of these 2 pages builders)
—> And you can work with which one you like.
. Demos are created now with Bakery and we will try to make new homepage templates with elementor for main demo to help clients use one or another.

b. Owner checks instant booking for the request to be approved automatically and user to skip owner manual approval

We released 2.7 theme update with WooCommerce as option to pay for a booking. WooCommerce allows to enable on checkout different merchants from their list (please note some are paid but we don’t have control over that https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/ ).
