Hello. I have a couple of presale questions: 1. Can we display the options of product in category list? ( Each product will have maybe 1 or 2 options and i don’t want the visitors to join in product page, i want to ca be added to card the product with selected options from category list). Can be configured like this without custom development?
2. I would like on cart and checkout page ( same in cart module ) to give posibility to add comments or special requirments on each product. Doest it have this functionality?
3. Can we remove the shipping field from checkout page? ( i don’t want to display it, will be free all time ) Can be remove the subtotal?
4. Cart module can be added on canvas ? or in a right position ( always on top )?
5. How can i display all categories with featured images in a page? Can display categories in tabs and onclick loading the products from the category to not overload the page?

1. Yes, you can show the Attributes of the Variable Product on Shop/Category Pages using Theme Options easily as showing on my test site here: http://hubdatasolutions.com/pearl/porto/shop2/product-category/electronics/
But Customer must have to go to Variable product for adding it into the Cart.
2. We have used the WooCommerce plugin in the Theme and WooCommerce has its default functionality, Cart and Checkout pages are WooCommerce default Pages and the default functionality is applied on those pages, If Customer chooses the “Ship to different Addresses” then it has an Option for Additional Comment on Checkout page as showing in this screenshot: https://screenshot.net/xl8yvbz

4. Sorry to say that but do not understand it properly, Can you please explain it more clearly if possible with the help of screenshots.

Please edit your Home Page you will find Porto Blog OR Porto Recent Posts element set in it which is responsible to show the Posts on your Home Page, If you want to show the most commented posts you have to use any third party plugin or it requires Customization as there is no Option in the Theme for it and if you want to change the Posts to show you have to edit the element set on your Home Page and you can change using element setting as per your requirements.

Sorry to say that but we have not tested any of the plugin for this reason with the latest Theme so we are unable to suggest you on it, If you want you can use any plugin but at your own risk as we do not provide our dedicated support for any of the third party plugin issues because of it requires Customization.

I recieved an email yesterday that there is an update to the Porto them advising me to download it, but the history log state that the last update was in July and in the admin said there is no updates. Is there an update and what’s in it?

Yes, you are right, there is no update of Porto for now, The latest version is 4.11.7. The last notification email arrived in your Email was from Envato because of Envato select Porto WordPress on a Sale for its birthday. It’s on Sale now that is why the Envato send a notification email to all of its Customers.

Sorry to say that but this is not possible, The Theme only provides the functionality to show -15%(Single Products) OR OFF , You can turn it ON/OFF from Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce as showing in this screenshot: https://screenshot.net/v57vra7
If you want to show both you have to Customize the Theme and WooCommerce core files or you can also use any of the third party plugin as well.

Cant get concept images to show correctly.. even before editing the bigger image doesn’t always show and I change to my pictures, the smaller images appear corrupted and not round like the demo. Please help, this installation is on my localhost so I can’t provide a login

Ok, did not know they needed to be the same aspect ratio, that worked for the smaller images, but the larger one is still not showing. Maybe due to jquery errors?
- EDIT: Seems like Firefox issues, bigger image works fine on Chrome!

It must be the cache issue at your end nothing else.

Please, first flush/remove the server cache and then deactivate it until you are in the development process and then remove the site cache and deactivate cache plugins and finally check your site after removing the browser cache, Hope you will not find any issue.

Pages > new Page. using wpbakery, add element row and split two column (1/2 + 1/2)—insert “Product Page” element in left column, add a product that has thumbnails/additional images and preview page. You will see that the main product image carousel does not have overflow control to right therefore it shows a full row of blank images on the preview and publish. I can not create my main design page with this issue. build: 4.11.7 How can this be fixed?

I found a small bug. When you add the whatsapp number under Appearance > Theme Options > Header > Social Links, the generated link goes wrong and goes nowhere. For example, if I add the number 123, it will generate the following link: whatsapp://send?Text=123. This is wrong, and even with a real number, it will not lead anywhere. According to the whatsapp documentation, the link should be https://wa.me/NUMBER. Same bug with the “Porto: Follow us” widget.

This is not the bug but the default functionality of the Theme, it only shows the Number in the Browser URL bar when you click on WhatsApp icon, If you want to change it with your own URL or want to redirect the user on WhatsApp when clicking on WhatsApp Icon, then you have to Customize the Theme Core files for it.
For Header and Single Product: You have to Customize the layout.php file under wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/
