Hello, I’m really curious about the dark mode you mentioned. Are you referring to a dark mode for the web designer using the theme, or visitors to a live site that uses x theme. I’ve searched everywhere for a decent dark mode plugin so that users can flip a switch to view one of my sites in low light situations.

Hi, I have been using your theme for two years , and I reallly like it. In the last month I have been having issues with the plugin E&P form builder. The form is connected with Stripe to receive the payments, sometimes i received a payment on Stripe but I did not receive the notification on the module and I can’t have a full control of my orders. Example: A customer buy an insurance all the process go on without any problems but the customer did not receive the email with the order details and I can’t see this order from the form order list. I asked for help to E&P form builder customer service but they told me that since the form is integrated in your theme you should help me.
Is there a way to “downgrade” a Pro license back to a standard X license? I tried Pro and it isn’t for me. Thanks.

Unfortunately this is not available out of the box but there are a wide variety of WooCommerce plugins available which offer this functionality and can be used in conjunction with our theme.
when i click ‘live preview’ and then it shows a homepage in the very beginning, am i possible to make exactly the same layout of that? and, can i decrease the height of the banner at the top?

Our sales page is a modified version of our X theme but with a few css tweaks you could replicate the exact look. Make sure to take a look at Integrity 1 and Ethos 3 which are demos that are very similar to our sales page. Those should give you a good start.
hi, for “renew 01” demo is it possible to change image background (outside box content) for every page of the site and make it different for every page?
Sure! When editing each page there is an option to set a background image. If you don’t set one, it will use the image from the global Theme Options. This is possible starting with any of the demos.
I am trying to register an account on Apex to activate the theme. When I create an account, it says “login already registered.” I haven’t created an account before, but I tried logging in in case I forgot. It says “this doesn’t match our records,” so I try a password reset, and it says the email isn’t in the database. So, I don’t have an account, but I can’t register an account because I already have an account? Please help!

Thanks for reaching out. We don’t have a native gallery element, but as part of our Extensions you get Essential Grid and The Grid for free. Both plugins have a “load more” functionality that continues to load posts via AJAX.
I just need add about 1000 image to gallery and insert it to post. So I need gallery picture function with ajax load more. Can do Essential Grid and The Grid make it ?
Sure! You may need to organize the images across multiple posts but you can certainly manage large portfolios with either of those plugins.

Is there a ‘mobile first’ version of this theme available? When I test my website that uses X theme with Google, I receive a very low speed score for mobile and there are issues I cannot tackle myself because they are buried in the theme – ‘render blocking JS/CSS’ is the big one. Any advice on that from the theme perspective?

Thanks for reaching out. Regretfully no, all of our base styles were developed desktop first originally. That being said, the media queries shouldn’t contribute to render blocking JS. We have one very small javascript file that runs in the head primarily to keep things working in older browsers like IE11.

after updating from the X v 4.11 to 6.5.6 the embedded videos in post do not display anymore. Has someone a solution?

1. Yes, it is a lifetime license. You can always download new versions and you don’t need to renew.
2. Yes, you can do this in our Content Builder.
3. Sure! You would need to use a 3rd party plugin to do this because we don’t offer a booking system out of the box, but in our experience X works great with any plugins coded to WordPress best practices.
I have X theme on one of my clients sites and it’s in desperate need of updating and it’s also still running PHP 5.6 what type of regression and issues will i run into with your theme? We are running a child theme alongside it so there is some code but not a lot of custom code thats within the theme itself.Is there a migration process to migrate to the version you have out now?

Thanks for reaching out. When sites age and get more and more out of date we usually recommend taking a full backup, then updating the latest version. It would be even better if you were using a host that supported a staging environment. From there you’ll need to work through any issues that arise. We do however emphasize backwards compatibility. You shouldn’t see much in terms of issues from one version of X to another, but there could be things that come up in code customizations. Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it. So If I just create a subdomain, move it all over and export my dbs to a staging url and put together some kind of a staging environment, I’m not sure if Bluehost does have a button like many do. I know my providers all do, but this one was here long before I was there. Bluehost seems very novice and easy but unable to do much that developers need that isn’t standard across the board or they display in such a weird way that it makes it way to hard from the over the top GUI’ness to figure out how to just do the basic things you want to do. So i’m at 5.4.x actually and I need to obviously upgrade php to 7.0 or 7.1+. Also how do we get the free updates for our theme? I’m kind of shocked that X will still run on PHP 5.4.x… could this be possible? It’s just something that can’t be down long or at all really. It does have custom code but it’s mostly styling, etc. Not php functions I don’t think. Will I need any kind of installation key to run x theme on the staging environment with plugins and all that when I’ll have a live version out there already? How do I get the theme updates? They’re free for life as i was told and got via email. I just don’t know it’s its due to the idiotic php version the last guy set it to or what. I just want to have everything I’d need for support to him me out. Thanks again

You can download updates through your ThemeForest account, or by entering your purchase code you can register for automatic updates.

Hi – I just started work on a website that has a validated version of your theme (updated to the latest 6.5.6). Their Slider Revolution plugin though is waaay back at version 5.4.8.3 – should be 6.0.9). Could you please let me know how I can get this updated for them? There doesn’t seem to be an obvious way. Because that is our main sales page for X we don’t provide an exact replica as an importable demo. You can however recreate that look using the theme’s features. Any of the demos you visit from that page can be automatically imported. We do offer a Sales Page template for our page builder that will let you automatically create a very similar structure of sections and content. It’s based on our sales page.
