Elated Slider is using HTML5 video. Not all mobile devices can playback HTML5 video properly, and to make the slider appear uniformly across all mobile devices video playback is disabled in the JavaScript.

As a fallback, you can use Video Preview Image feature. Click on Upload button next to Video Preview Image label in Elated Slide Video section. Standard WordPress media dialogue appears. Choose an existing file from Media Library tab or upload a new image from Upload Files tab into Media library. Select image and click on Select Image button.

Or if you want to have playing video on mobile, we would like to suggest to use Layer Slider instead.

You can not remove a header on certain page within the themes options, however this is possible to do with some custom CSS targeting that specific page ID

For example Services page on our demo has this ID and you may add this code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

.page-id-1210 header.page_header {
    display: none;
}

To remove the whole header on that page.

Offcourse you should know that your pages have different ID which you may find once inspecting your site like it is done here

1. There is an ALT text on single portfolio images that displays description of the image from WordPress which you can use. Or simply add your credits to the image before uploading it.

2. I have tested your site and at GTmetrix

What you or your hosting provider should do in .htaccess file is described here:

Basically, minor modifications of this file would help you to get better grade related to speed of page loading

Also consider optimizing your images with some tool like this one www.jpegmini.com/ as I can see that some of them are taking a lot of time to load.

(One more thing that I advice you is to turn off all additional third party plugins that didn’t came with our theme, according to GT metrics when I’ve tested your site it is showing a lot of files that are not minified (compressed). No problem. On smartphone… Click link (https://www.momentumcreativeintegration.com/), scroll down to MOMENTUM SAMPLES, click Chicago Pan Pizza image, view image in lightbox and try to zoom in. Was there a reason you disabled finger zooming? Is it something I can turn on or off? Thanks again.

We have determined that this issue occurs only on apple devices. If you’d like to disable the zoom functionality for those devices as well you could add the following code:

you could add this code into Elated Options > General > Custom Code > Custom JS.

This seems to be an issue with the fact that you have updated the theme files but not the bundled plugins like the Elated CPT plugin. In order to do so please follow these steps:

Pre-Step: Deactivate and Delete all bundled plugins that come with the theme, especially the Elated CPT plugin. This way they will be updated along with the theme as well.

1. Download the latest All files & documentation file from ThemeForest (your Downloads page) 2. Extract it and locate borderland.zip and borderland-child.zip 3. In your admin panel navigate to Appearance > Themes and activate one of the default themes 4. Once active delete both the parent and child borderland themes 5. Upload the parent and child themes with the zip files from step 2 6. After uploading the theme files activate the parent theme and navigate to Elated Options > General and without changing anything simply save the settings.

You have to understand that we didn’t and couldn’t test all the plugins out there with our themes. Of course, some compatibility issues might occur once in a while and there’s little that we could do about that.

We have gone through the process on the page you mentioned and aside from the text size not being favorable we experienced no issues.

We do use The Events Calendar plugin on some of our other themes and this may be useful for you to use instead. There is also an extension for it in order to book appointments that may be useful as well.

In order to change how it looks on the mobile view, you could use the following code:

or set up another row with the same settings but a different image and hide it for all devices but the small screen devices.

These pages are not ordinary pages that you can edit or customize, these are archive-type pages.

Archive-type pages, sometimes called taxonomies, are rendered dynamically according to your content. So if you have 10 items in your category, each and every one of them will be displayed. If you have no items in that category, it won’t display anything.

All of this means that archive pages are WordPress’ default way of grouping posts and custom post types to some sort of tags or categories. Also, this means that these pages sometimes aren’t affected by the Theme Options configuration and you have to style it’s content manually. When we say manually, we mean via Custom CSS.

It’s important to understand that PHP template for these pages is written in core theme files and can’t be changed by default.

In order to set the grid to be a three-column grid you could use the following code by adding it into :

    flex-wrap: wrap;

}

I understand that you might still be working in there, but I had no idea that the menu would be affected during this process. I just don’t want my customers coming to my site and seeing it broke. All my menu links at the top except for “home” and “contact” are now gone. None of my other menu items or drop downs are there anymore. It causes panic as my customers come to my site regularly to check on the status of their deposits, I would have liked to known this would have happened so I could have sent out an email to them letting them know the site would be *down for a short time – or at least put the site in maintenance mode while you are working on it
