I don’t understand some of the upgrades that happen with this theme sometimes. How could you possible just add in transparency to the mobile header in v10.5 with no option to disable this for people who’s websites were working just fine without it prior to this “feature upgrade”? This is crazy! =S
Also, where the heck are all of the styling options that were previously in the typography section? There is no option for text transform or letter spacing? What is going on right now?!

1. Allowing the mobile header to be consistently transparent when that option is activated desktop was one of the top requested features over the past couple of years. Can you please share your URL so I can take a look why it’s not working correctly on your end?
2. Those options are still there. If they’re not showing up on your end I would suspect that there might be a conflict between a third party plugin. Hi, I tried support but didn’t get a response.
Can you assist with print breaks? I’ve added css to allow print page breaks and hide the header/footer. I’ve added the extra class “page-break” to the row, but it doesn’t work. How/where do I add page-break in the pages to make it work?

You can unassign those fonts in the Salient options panel > typography tab. Just go through each section (i.e. Navigation & page header, General HTML elements etc.) and remove any font families selected.

There is no option for that there….. :/ ??! Where to remove these fonts (icons) or something else to make the theme better for fast loading speed?

1. You’re not seeing the fonts you listed above “roboto” & “alegreya sans” set in your Salient options panel > typography tab? If so, please open a ticket on our support forum in regards with temporary admin credentials so we can take a closer look into this as that is the only section which would enqueue them: https://themenectar.ticksy.com
2. If you’re instead referring to removing the icomoon.woff file, that would require deleting the section #20 out of the salient/css/style.css file, as that is loaded for core theme icons

The “button styling” option in the Salient options panel > general settings tab allows you to pick this. Are you instead trying to completely remove any styling of buttons from Salient all together?

also, anytime I add image galleries the height of the images are all of the place

There is no option to have the images within a gallery element automatically scale to match the height of a neighboring column. Since i updated the theme, all images in image galleries are landscaped (even when i changed the Masonry sizing to wide/tal/regular.

ALSO.. why is not possible to make big galleries. Why is there a limit?

1. In order to use the masonry sizing in any image gallery, you need to use a masonry compatible layout. The only two layouts which have ever allowed/used those sizings are “Fullwidth” and Fullwidth constrainedhttps://ibb.co/pjPmNHr – the link you’ve shared appears to be using “4 columns” instead. 2. Can you elaborate more on what you mean by “big galleries”? Are you referring to the size of the images or the number of images in a gallery?

There should be no limit to the number of images you can use in an image gallery when you’re on the current release of the Salient WPBakery page builder (6.0.5). If you’re on that release, can you let me know what is occurring for you when adding a large number of images?

When I select the images (or extra images in an existed gallery) and click ‘add images’, it does nothing… The only way I can make bigger galleries is copying the numbers of the photos, and paste it between the photos from the existed gallery in the code in classic mode. I only have this problem with bigger galleries.

Hey anekin01, and you’ve seen no difference since updating to version 6.0.5 of the Salient WPBakery page builder? The issue you’re describing was a long-standing known issue in the core of WPBakery, however they noted in their changelogs that it was fixed as of version 6.

Hey e-r-q, I can’t locate any emails or tickets from this account, so I can only answer based on the issue you mentioned in your recent theme review regarding the “Scale Background Image To Column” option.
as of v11, Salient is now using a new modern grid system and if you have any old styles relating to the previous grid system cached on your server/browser, it could cause issues. Assuming you’ve already cleared all forms of cache post updating, could you please share your URL so I can take a look and help out?

But when I try to customize it there’s no way I can change the font on the pictures (like Igor Kozlov, graphic designer) and background color and the font in the left column (after I’ve clicked on a person). One that’s grey. Could I ask you to help me with that code? 1. I’d love a white more visible font on the pictures and 2. be able to change the font and background after I have already clicked on the picture.

1. The font used on the picture (before clicked) is set form the “Heading 3” field in the Salient options panel > typography > general html elements tab. The font of the name once clicked will be set from the “Heading 2” in the same section.
2. To alter the coloring, you can use the following in regards:

And it works like that on desktop. On the mobile and tablet, however, you cannot make the ‘hover’ move. What is the value for customizing the random order in the portfolio?
Hey pipapublicidade, the portfolio element does not offer the option to randomize the order of projects. However, v11 of Salient just introduced a new element called the “post grid” which can pull portfolio items and does indeed allow for a random ordering.
