I am interested in purchasing this theme for a client who wants to sell their photos online. We’d like to set up a grid of photo categories on the homepage leading to pages with images for each one. I like this design https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/portfolio-photos/. If we set our site up this way, is it possible for each of these images to be available for purchase? Or do we have to set up a separate shop?

It’s possible to create what you ask but you need to build the same layout with the Posts module (query to product), actually this is a simple media gallery. In a few words, you’ll end up with the same layout but when you click, in the shop, the main action is direct you to the final single product page. To each image, at different sizes & prices, you can use the variable product option that is part of the options of WooCommerce (the popular shop plugin Uncode is based).
Ok great! One more question – is it possible to create a ‘Client portal’ where some of the photographs can only be viewed/purchased if a client is logged in?

I’m having issues with post settings, when I save the options in the post it doesn’t make effect. It does save it but no changes on the front-end.

what is the latest version of this theme? I have taken over a website currently running 1.9.1 and need to know how up to date this version is. main reason is i am having an error that seems to be a result of visual composer conflict.

Any solution on how to display multiple auto-playing looping videos on the page? It’s used instead of GIF’s.
I know that chrome changed policy and now only lets muted videos to auto-play, which I did as per here: https://undsgn.d.pr/ikF2IW

This fix is also part of Uncode, but at the moment it seems not possible to autoplay multiple videos with ‘MediaElementJs’ (the native script used by WP), by the time you play one the other deactivates (ex: https://undsgn.d.pr/pQ30M8). I let you know the next days if there is a possible trick!

Update: It works if videos already visible on the screen, but it’s paused and doesn’t auto play if you scroll down and then see the videos.
After spending several hours:
Generally pauseOtherPlayers makes it work but:
It’s only loaded and autoplay if it’s on screen. If it’s offscreen, it shows poster image or paused video
Hi pixelete! The lead developers have looked at this issue and unfortunately at the moment there is no solution. MediaElementJS is natively invoked by WordPress by default and there is no way to bypass this WordPress setting. The only solution is to use videos via column backgrounds (in this case the video function is created by Uncode and does not pass through the native WordPress functions for embedded videos). Another solution may be to insert the code into an HTML Raw module (the videos must be mute and you must test the cross-browser): https://undsgn.d.pr/Sk8D24

Hi there again and thank you again. I already thought that you will not fully understand the problem without having access. So to answer your questions one by one, I created a posts module from scratch, not only one time. It is always the same result, which is “nothing found”. Posts are published. I recreated the whole posts module from one of your demos. I really do not get it. The query is quite simple, type post, post count 3, sorted by date. That is it. And as a last information, the posts only appear in case I declare them in “individuale posts” with article1, article2, article3. But that makes no sense at all. Again thank you very much!!!!!

You can upload a screenshot on your server or use any of the free online services. Anyway if you insert the Posts module and it doesn’t work as it should something odd is happening and we cannot help without debugging. It means in case I put in the query – in the field “individual posts” the three posts I created and published, they appear. Ok, as it seems it makes no sense here. You cant reprocude the problem here which I understand. So I have to decide if I buy the theme with the error and open a support ticket. I rebuilt exactly this https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/blog-newspaper/ with all settings exactly like it. I checked for hours that each and every setting is the same. Hi, I have a problem with the privacy plugin. I installed it, filled in all fields under General. Then I made a Consent with YouTube (id: youtube). The privacy banner appears on the page. YouTube appears as blocked there. But my embedded video is still playing if you click on it. The video is not blocked and the Consent Notice text does not appear. What is wrong? Yes, I now have set an image ID for a media poster. This will also be displayed on the post page if Privacy Preferences have not been approved.
On the start page, where all posts are listed, there is unfortunately nothing to see. There is only a white area above the post preview.

i love the flexibility and endless possibilities with Uncode and it’s my goto theme for smaller web-projects. Few things that I really miss to make it perfect:
- I love the flexibility for the Post slider/carousel and would love to have a similar element for regular content or content blocks as well. You do have the contentslider but that one is fairly limited and works only fullwidth.
- I’d love a megamenu where i can use contentblocks for teasers or other custom content within the menu-colums
- I often use an additional slide-out menu for quick-contact or similar stuff.
Are any of those features on your roadmap?

Yes these are all awesome ideas but at the moment I cannot say if these will be inserted in our roadmap (need to verify internally first). Of these options we had already thought about Content Block for megamenu and Content Block for custom pop-ups or slide-out elements.
