I’m using Ylva. and i like the Custom portfolio style for all portfolio single-pages. I like it as it is. the only thing, i cannot find where or how to swap stockholm’s images with my own one.
for all other portfolio style when i upload “single or multiple” image upload that work. here it does not. can you please let me know where or how, due to in the documentation i couldn’t find it.

well for who needs it…i found out after hours that:
every ummage has a ID number and that’s the one that must be changes under: “single-image XXX”. but i couldn’t find how to find the id of the image. wordpress doesn’t show them anymore. so install an extra light plugin: type “reveal ids in add-plugin area, install the plugin. Then in the “media section”, list view, last column one the right the id of all photos are shown. find the id of the photo you wanna put in a change it in the “portfolio custom code”.
it works but it’s complicated. is there a easier way?

The difference with the custom portfolio type is that it does not use the multiple or single upload for images, rather you have to use WP Bakery to add the images and content into the Portfolio page itself.
First please make sure you have enabled WP Bakery on all custom post types so that you would be able to edit the Portfolio Single pages. Navigate to WpBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Post Types > and set this to custom and make sure to check all of the checkboxes that appear.

WP Page Builder has a bug with the icon box for over 2 years. (That I’ve seen, it could be longer.)
See a demonstration here:
Every time you open the element, it automatically adds a non breaking space to the text.
This bug happens in every theme that uses WP Page Builder so it’s not a theme issue, it’s a WP Page Builder issue.
I’ve asked them if they are going to fix this, but I’m posting this comment here for your information and in case they try to blame the theme as the issue (which it is not a theme issue, because I’ve seen it on 3 different themes)
Hoping they actually follow through and do something about it, perhaps you can also ask them since your themes are built with this product.

Answer by Select-Themes You could have regular top menu on desktop, and on mobile full screen if you want.
So please ask someone else who knows how to figure out and tell me how, if you don’t know. This solution must be so simple though.

We have checked through the options of the theme once again and there is no such option.
The comment you are referring to is 3 years old and many changes have been made to the theme in the meantime. This might be one of them.

I just bought the stockholm theme today and I’m having alot of installation issues with it. Whenever i try to activate the theme it crashes the page. I tried everything i know to fix this issue but i can’t seem to get the theme to work.
I’m using a fresh wordpress (latest version) and the latest version of the theme since i bought it today.
List of things i already tried: Installing through wordpress Installing manually with or without child theme with or without plugins changing wordpress memory size i even tried older wordpress versions i tried different php versions
but nothing seem to work

The lead developer at WP Google Maps (Pro version) has been trying to help me figuring out why this https://stikkinikki.com/ store locator inconsistently doesn’t load after updates of everything. Sometimes one language loads but not the other. He wrote me the following about this and it involves you guys in the last paragraph below. Please advise.
The issue with the marker listing you’re seeing on the page at https://stikkinikki.com/ is due to the REST API malfunctioning on this site.
I can see your theme code is altering the REST API’s default behaviour. Whilst the snippet you showed in your last response specifically shouldn’t affect our plugin, I temporarily switched to the Twenty Nineteen theme to establish if your theme was causing this issue. I then cleared the cache. This solved the issue, which would normally lead us to believe that the theme is causing this issue, however switching back and clearing the cache a second time didn’t re-introduce the issue so, we can’t state that categorically.
Whether this is happening due to your theme manipulating the REST API or caching issues isn’t clear, but in any case we can confirm that the issue is due to the REST API not functioning correctly on this site, the marker listing was receiving a “403 Forbidden” response as it was failing checks server side.
Considering we’re unsure of the cause and this may come up again on this site, what we’ve done is enabled “Compressed Path Variables” in Maps -> Settings -> Advanced. This setting isn’t designed to address these kind of problems directly, however it does alter the way the marker listing interacts with the REST API, and it does so in a manner which should ensure that you don’t see any issues there at all in the future.
Please can you confirm that is now working as expected at your end?
There are no known incompatibilites with our plugin and WPML, if your theme developer needs to add filters to prevent WPML interfering with REST URL’s, we would recommend that they only remove the REST URL filters that pertain to WPML instead of removing all filters on that action, as this may effect the way our plugin, and other plugins, interact with the REST API.

i’ve installed an SSL certificate and activated “Really Simple SSL” and “SSL Insecure content fixer” but something in the theme is preventing the plugin to fix the mixed content. I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins but only when I switch theme back to Twentyninghteen I can see the plugin fixes the mixed content.

Hi there,
This is usually the problem with SSL certificate and the previous setting of a website that was not configured this way. You can try to use a plugins to fix this , such as – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ http://ithemes.com/codex/downloads/fix-ssl-non-ssl-links.zip however this does not guarantee fixing the issue.
Safer solution would be to remove the images that are causing this problem and to re-upload them.

thanks for your reply. The problem is that is not just a few images coming up as insecure content, but all the js, css and other files of the theme (i.e. /wp-content/themes/stockholm/js/plugins/jquery.parallax-scroll.js?ver=5.2.3). I have something like 80 mixed content warnings an the majority are from the theme folders
