We are having an issue with multiple posts not all showing up within search results. The same post shows in each page within the pagination even though there are quite a few search results. Is this an issue with a particular plugin that is being used, like WP Job Manager or FacetWP that we should be aware of? Thanks!

Hi, I’m using Listify and I notice that many people who create a listing upload multiple photo’s, edit them, upload them again etc. Now there are tons of unused images in the library. I tried to use some ‘cleanup’ plugins to find unused images but they don’t seem to work well with Listify. They cannot see when an image is used in a gallery for example and deletes also images that are being used. Do you have an advice how to keep the library clean? With a few hundred listings I cannot do this manually anymore.

In relation to your question here, If a Listing is deleted, the images added will still remain on the server. Currently, WP Job Manager by default does not remove the images for you if a listing is deleted. You will need to manually remove any images added if you wish.

Hi, yes I know all images are still on the server. Also all images users upload, change, re-upload etc. That’s why my installation is becoming very unnecessary big. Like I wrote, with hundreds of listings I cannot do this manually and that is why I am looking for a automated clean up solution.

Relating to your question here, I would suggest on using Regions instead, of which would replace locations. This can be facilitated by the Regions For Wp Job Manager plugin.

We are considering moving from Superlist Theme to yours because it dramatically slows down the website only having 5,000 makers on a page or even cities available over a dropdown list.
Can we add a dropdown menu with autocomplete for the cities?
1. Is it possible to hide specific markers on the map but show it in the search results of a certain city to get more organic traffic from Google? (e.g. restaurant berlin)
2. Is your plugin capable to show minimum 10,000 markers on the map at once?
3. Will a user be able to insert a listing if he got specific rights (Frontend-Submission)?
4. Can we import our listings to your Theme without problems?
5. Are you using extra plugins such as “Inventor” to provide the listing functionality? (The more plugins needed the slower the website gets)
6. Is it possible to show/hide specific elements on the detail page of a listing if the user doesn’t have the necessary rights (Membership)?
7. Is it possible to just have a whole list of the listings instead of big pictures/galleries?
8. Is your Theme already translated into German language?
9. Can we show a table of inventory on the listing detail page where the “listing creator” can edit their inventory? (e.g. WPDataTable Plugin)
10. Is it possible to hide the MAP (and show a message – only for signed up users) if the user haven’t signed up yet?
11. Is it possible to have HTML incl. JS-code in a custom field on the detail page?
12. Is it possible to have standard icons per category added automatically instead of a listing logo on the preview cards?

In relation to these questions:
1. Sorry, there is no default option to allow for this. Markers are rendered based on the listings returned. An instance where a marker would not be rendered is if the Listing does not contain Geolocation data.
2. By default the markers rendered are only for the listings returned per page. There is no limitation to the number of listings returned within a page, but 10000 would be way too many.
3. Yes users will be in a position to post listings.
4. That theme does not seem to be using Wp Job Manager, therefore importing listings from it would not properly work.
5. No we are not using that plugin. Our theme uses the free Wp Job Manager plugin to power the listings.
6. What would be possible is to restrict content to paying customers. Here is an article on this.
7. Sorry, that is not possible by default. It would entail some custom work.
8. Yes the theme contains a German translation.
9. Sorry, there are no official compatibility tests of the theme with that plugin. Also, the listing pages display the data filled within the listing submission page.
10. Yes it is possible to hide the map. However, displaying of messages for logged out users instead of the map is currently not possible by default. It would entail some custom work to have this implementation integrated.
11. Sorry, thisis not possible by default. The code will not be executed.
12. This is also not possible by default. It would entail some custom work to have this implementation in place.
13. As for the dropdown menus with autocomplete for cities, I’m afraid this would also not be possible by default. What you can perhaps have in place is a regions dropdown.

Hello, I need to build directory for medical laboratories. Where visitor search for the nearest lab, choose a test to take (for example complete blood picture) and then reserve an appointment then PAY through my site. On the other hand the Lab has logins and can track the reservations/patients from his dashboard. Can your theme achieve this functionality? And if it’s not can this be achieved via custom development? Does your theme support RTL ? is there compatible mobile application for the theme ? Thanks

In relation to your question here, unfortunately the test selection would not be possible to accomplish via the theme. This is something that would entail quite some custom work.
As for bookings, please check this article on how to integrate bookings to listings.
In regard to the mobile application question, unfortunately as it curretnly stands we do not have an official listify-based mobile application.
About RTL support, yes the theme supports RTL.

I can’t get help! Astoundify website says I don’t own any licences even though it is showing my purchases. So frustrating….can anyone tell me how to get rid of the User Login on my home page? Can multiple regions be selected when creating a post? I’d like to create a directory for in-person presentations. These presentations would be booked and presenters would come to the person who books them. A presenter may be able to travel, so selecting multiple regions (or locations) would be necessary.

Users can search by postal code on the location field to return results near the postal code. If any listings are within the radius settings, you will see results!
If however you need the postal codes as separate fields, you would need to create a custom field using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin and create a custom field for postal codes . Using FacetWP, you can then create a custom search filter for Postal code . Keep in mind this sort of search will look for matching results.

Listify has been specifically designed to be used as a listings directory site not a job site. As observed in our demos,we do not have any job listings within any of our demos nor do we have any demo focussed on jobs. WP Job Manager plugin is used to power the listings, you cannot use WP Job Manager for both listings and jobs.
The Wp Job Manager is also a free and is required plugin for theme to properly run. This is actually publicly indicated within the Page here. Nowhere is it indicated that WP Job Manager is a plugin that we own.

Unfortunately, Listify does not support the WCFM Woocommerce Front End Manager. Right now we only support using WooCommerce extensions like the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin. Kindly note that Listify is designed as a Directory theme. Unfortunately it is not designed to be a Marketplace theme. At least it does not have ALL the components to be a complete marketplace.
