hello, just reporting here a bug with your last version of uncode 2.2.1 …. This was working correctly before your update but now it’s not anymore. Theme OPtions > Single CPT > Navigation enabled.
After the update no navigation is appearing anymore for CPT, but it is working with POSTS or normal WP post types.
I don’t have support anymore as I became fluent with your team and I have enough knowledge to affirm that this is a bug of your (great) theme

Hello, tested more thoroughly and saw that the reason is not linked to CPT but linked to the fact tha that particular post in on Draft… which doesn’t make sense because even in draft it should work so to test if the page is exactly as we want before publishing it.

The navigation is related to other posts. Until it is published it does not actually fit into the loop. Likewise, in the blog page you don’t see posts in drafts before they are published, right?
That’s ok for me but it should be cleared out on your documentation because I spent some time trying to understand what wasn’t working and why it didn’t showed up… especially because just in that period you kicked out with the new version so that drove me to the wrong direction (bug)

Anyway, the support policy expiration is not from us, this is official from Envato for any theme you buy on ThemeForest. Be sure to clear all cache and also possible extra service like Cloudflare. At least show us your site here but about Slider Revolution is exactly the code suggested above (be also sure to have updated Slider Revolution to the last version).

Thank you very much! I think the problem was that I was trying to use the Progress Bar inside of another element and it wasn’t working. Using the Progress Bar as an individual element worked just fine. For the color I didn’t realize I could add my own custom colors to the Palette. I am still learning.

Hi jscathey! We are sorry but the WordPress crop is based on center and it’s not something you can adjust via CSS. You should the natural size in the module options (or upload same size images).

Hi. I’m trying to chage the backround color on a row that I place in my page with the WPBakery page builder and It just gives me the option of some predefined colors but not the entire color options and the predefined colors don’t match with the colors that I want to use in my web. I have used WPBakery before with other themes but in the other themes I could chage the row color so I think there is a problem with the theme. How can I solve this?
Hi alvarovenes! Uncode WPBakery is far distant from the original WPBakery. This is not a problem or a bug this is exactly how Uncode works, you have first to define same colors to be used across your website, then you use these colors. These is a “variable” like approach, in fact it’s faster since you don’t have to enter an hexadecimal code first every-time, then if you need to change a color, you update the Palette and this color will be updated in all the website.

If you refer to Windows Chrome the problem can be related to the border radius (this is a limit of Chrome). In a nutshell you need to know that Blend Mode is a new property and support is still limited.

I bought the theme on 13/10. I installed it on a 5.2.3 wordpress. Then wordpress updated in 5.2.4. The theme was updated last week. I have a classic computer with windows 10. I rotate the theme locally with a wamp in php 7. i opened a ticket

Hello. I have big problem with latest update. Can’t write you ticket since my support expired so this is only way to report a possible bug. It seems like a bug trust me – only change i did is update to latest version. Color picker does not work anymore?!!!

it’s like basically i can’t click on it anymore. I mean i click but absolutely nothing happens. So i can’t change backgorund color in your widgets, or text color in your widgets etc. It refuses to work. All settings are ones which were picked before i update and i stay locked to that.
I won’t panic or anything, i don’t mind lost hours if you tell me it’s known issue and you are working on fixing it.
Hi! We are sorry but other users are not reporting this. This update was largely tested by the Beta Testers and it’s actually installed by thousand of users. If there is a problem with colors probably here you should see hundreds of similar comments. From what I see from the screenshots you have extra plugins (since the UI is different). Anyway did you tested another browser? What browser and operating system are you?
Sorry but what do you mean when you say different UI ?? Uncode UI was always like that from the beginning. If you mean white box in my screenshot that’s just photoshop there so that my text is more visible. What am i missing here do i understand you correctly? I mean my Uncode UI looks exactly same like your here https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214002225 and like in every other screenshot on your website. Unless i am understanding you wrong.
As i said in my screenshot tried three browsers. All had same behavior. Chrome, Edge and Firefox. There is no console errors of any kind. Windows 10.
I am also using other themes for my clients (not going to list them here i don’t want to list competition) and i actually have 0 issues with other products. Other products also uses default (not tailored) Visual Composer and i never run in to any issue.
I didn’t had issue with Uncode either. I simply updated it and since then i can’t use color picker.
Can you somehow send me previous uncode theme version and uncode core plugin so i can try that out?
I am aware that this is weird and i didn’t see anyone report it here but at the same time i am witnessing quite a few people reporting other issues after update. Perhaps it’s not just me. I don’t doubt your quality at all – i am simply saying something is off after update. The fact that your beta team didn’t had any issue is not any statement.
I mean you yourself witness everyday that you use software which passed extensive testing – yet bugs are found when update is released to public. You can’t possibly cover every single combination.

Well first i am not nervous why are you saying i am nervous? Have you read what i am writing to you? If my tone seems nervous you need reality reset. It’s not nice to say to the people how they feel!
I’ve lost many hours in trying to fix this until i reached you here. I offered to test previous version as one possible idea. And you think this is being nervous??? All you are saying is “i can’t replicate so can’t help” – This is hilarious. User is offering his time to debug things for you and you are acting like other side is nervous after update caused problems.
Look just few post above i found another person reporting issue and you told him almost same thing as you did to me.
Person reported issue with your theme. You said “Everything is good in our demo sorry we can not help” – I mean are you serious?
Then person was persistent and after he almost decided to quit and surrender from reporting issue – you then acknowledged issue with your theme but you throw ball to instagram?!!
My point is you are either new to support system or you need some guidance on how to communicate with your users.

Gimme a break i am not nervous but i want to file a complaint to your senior staff member. I demand some contact. Don’t tell me to write through Themeforest because it is very likely you will intercept my complaint. I would not be surprised.
Since you’re referring to other messages… First, you talk about Instagram and in fact after the user has found a way to explain the problem in detail we have confirmed the problem on Firefox but if this is not specified at first it was difficult to understand it immediately. Did you read the whole message? Second, please look at the message above this one. You will find a user who reports a problem with the menu after the update. We’ve tested it many times and we’ve got it all working, even on our demo and no user has done a similar report. So what should we do if we are to able to replicate the bug? In the end, the user confirmed that the problem was caused by an extra extension. Nothing to do with the update. After a theme update users look at the site, notice problems that perhaps were created over time (maybe installing a plugin, etc.) and think it is a problem of the update. Most of the time, they do not provide any technical information in this regard. Look at the message above this, it’s exactly what happens 99% of the time. So if we don’t have any other reports and we can’t replicate it, this is the only answer we can give. When there is a real bug we get dozens of reports on the same day. Now I’m not saying that you don’t have this problem but you have to post all the information to replicate it (or open a ticket) and not just say that before the update everything worked because it leads nowhere. As a final note please do not write words that don’t come from us, because we do not say “we can not replicate it and we do not help you”, but “we can not replicate it, please open a ticket so we can check your installation privately”. On the other hand, the rule of the support expiration is not from us, it is a policy from Envato and we as an author, also have to abide by the terms of the contract with ThemeForest which is to the customer and the marketplace’s own interests. Ahh now you are switching from ” it’s not our problems” to “it was difficult to understand”. You may say so all what i am saying is that when you say “it works for us so it’s not our problem – or – we can’t see problem” is hilarious to say in support ticket let alone disgusting. Btw you still owe me answer (to be fair) because it literally confused me when you said about UI. What different UI you referred to? Because it may be that all this time i am doing something wrong. I am genuinely asking you i am not trying anything. If support staff is saying me i am using different UI i am concerned. Seriously was that misunderstanding or should i investigate?
I try to recap… if you have problems that we are unable to replicate and no user is reporting the only way to receive private assistance is to open a ticket in our Help Center. Now, if you don’t want to open a private ticket and you are sure that the problem is with our product, surely some other user will have this problem and we will probably have the chance to debug an installation affected by this problem (if it’s a problem of the theme on 57.000 users you can’t be the only one with this problem), so you can wait a few days and see if others report this problem. And if you ask us “And I know it ’s Theme for a foreign policy to support your license. But there was no other way for me to contact you.” the answer is no cause this is the sense of private support.
Last information I can ask you is if you tested from other computers? Also, do I know what type of computer you have (exactly model and brand)?

First thanks for the UI suggestion. I see what you mean. Original theme is white and my version is just slightly darker and i have not noticed it when you mentioned UI. This is caused by plugin called MPC Massive Addons for visual composer. That plugin is compatible with Uncode, they say it in their changelog and i use it for some time now – no issues. However it sounded like a good hunch from you so i disabled it and deleted it. Issue remained. Your UI is same now as in your screenshots though.
I also created a video for you and your guys. Video is only 2 min long with my comments embedded in video. Sorry for quality but you can see everything needed. Video is unlisted at youtube so only people with link can see it. I will delete video after few days so that you and your guys have enough time to see it.

Btw to make it clear – Windows 10. Tried other computer yes. I cleared history and cache. In Firefox i even turned on clear everything on exit. Tried every known history or cookie or cache clearing. I am telling you this is so stupid issue that i want to bang my head. I even tried to redownload Uncode from themeforest, i deleted all uncode plugins, i uploaded latest theme yesterday, activated it, installed all Uncode plugins again and nothing. I mean everything is working, absolutely everything other then damn color picker.

Ok. I created video mainly to show you my plugin list and to show you that even though i can’t roll out Color dropdown i wanted to show you that there are color definitions added through theme panel.
It’s great to hear i am not going crazy or that something is wrong only on my side and thanks for being fair. But of course i am not happy for other people having issues like mine and i am sure you guys are up to the task.
Let me know if you pinpoint what was issue with his configuration. In the meantime here are specs of my computers:
Computer 1: Windows 10, i7 5820k, custom setup, i mean custom build. Latest Windows 10 updates installed, latest Chrome, Edge and Firefox
Computer 2: Mac Mini (Late 2014), Mojave – Safari and Chrome
System 3: Ipad 12.9 (i don’t remember OS version i will check tomorrow), Safari.
All three have absolutely same issue with color picker after update so i don’t believe it’s computer related but you or your staff will know better.
Honestly at this point i even started to convince myself that i am mad and that i should wipe complete website and start over.

Another thing i recalled today. I may be wrong but there is one thing i did not mentioned – i remembered it today when i was rethinking about everything.
The problem is that i did so many things trying to fix this that i can’t know for sure was that happening around that time or not.
I think after i installed latest Uncode update i tried to install (with directions from your documentation) custom font SF Pro. And it worked, i mean font was visible and all that. Everything was worked normally on the frontend.
But i then removed it. I honestly can’t remember (like i said i tried so many things to get color picker back) did color picker started acting crazy right after update or right after i added SF Pro. But somewhere around that time Color Picker started acting crazy. Maybe after i installed SF Pro, or after i removed it. Maybe this is not even related…
But i am sure color picked worked up until i installed update.
I don’t even know is it possible that font affected color picker don’t get me wrong i am just trying to provide every possible thing i did. Maybe it will help.

Hi magnumko! We were able to replicate the bug even if it is not clear why only some Windows machines are affected by this problem (same operating system and same browser). Anyway, we published here the fix “Colors dropdown not working on Windows”. Hello. Sorry for my absence i just came home from work. I have some interesting findings. Read my full reply. Best to see screenshot first because my english is bad as you may already know.
https://i.postimg.cc/L6Q06RXc/screenshot.jpgBefore anything – Thanks for the fix. I downloaded files and i read the article. Article is referring to “please replace these files with the patched versions:” but there are no such files for replacement anywhere in uncode theme folder.
At first i couldn’t find them in my theme folder so I just downloaded latest version (2.2.1) from themeforest, unpacked it to my computer and search is returning zero results in “uncode” folder. There are no files for replacement called:
fix_inputs.js
ot-admin-extended.js
ot-admin-extended.min.js
Then it occurred to me that this may be in Plugins folder – Uncode Core – which is installed online when theme is registered.
And indeed when i go to my server folder i see folder “includes” in folder “uncode-core”. Here is the interesting find. (btw i suggest article should be more clear where exactly this folder can be found)
This is maybe just article error or perhaps there is some error in folder structures – which is why this bug maybe happened (like maybe some of your developers misunderstood each other about folder path?) Of course this is my guess.
In your article at “https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214092169” details are refering to these three folders:
includes/vc_extend/assets/js/fix_inputs.js
includes/theme-options/assets/js/ot-admin-extended.js
includes/theme-options/assets/js/min/ot-admin-extended.min.js
But as you can see in my screenshot folder “vc_extend” is not placed in folder “includes” as article is referring to – instead it’s placed in root of “uncode-core” folder.
Anyway i applied the fix by manually placing updated files in corresponding folders and indeed i can now roll out color picker but color previews are missing. Before update i could see color names and small color previews which was very very useful. Screenshot here.

Yes you are right, they are inside “uncode-core”, now fixed. Have you also updated Windows recently? Are you sure you didn’t see the color preview only when it didn’t work for you? Because it is very strange that you had the color preview and it worked for you. Excuse the questions but it’s a very strange situation because it works on all Windows and not on some machines only.
My windows definitely did not updated itself just checked last update was 10.10.2019 – 18 days ago.

I saw color previews and color picker worked before update. After i updated i definitely saw color previews but i just couldn’t roll out color picker. Actually and luckily i can show to you in video i made previously.

And lastly yes i agree this is an absolute biscuit of any bug or issue i ever encountered in Wordpress website workflow. I will remember it forever. Trust me. I lost nerves with myself, i managed to make myself mad, lost my temper, probably made you mad as well and now it turned to be so weird that i will simply stop thinking about that. I am sure i will never understand it. Ever. I am going to poison myself with alcohol and watch next episode of Family Guy or Rick and Morty. That will do it

To answer your question: Are you sure in these 3 days you got color preview working? Since our developers think is definitely not possible.
I honestly can’t say for sure but i can say this.
I checked on calendar and 11th,12th and 13th days were exactly Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is VERY possible that your devs are right on the spot. Because usually on Saturday and Sunday i don’t work.
It can be that update windows installed 10.10.2019 and on 11th i worked on something else.
12 and 13 (weekend) i haven’t touched anything.
So on Monday (14th) it can be that i updated to Uncode 2.2.1 and then i saw my issues started to appear. And i blamed Uncode update when in fact it can be Windows update right?
It seems like a sequence or series of very unlike and unfortunate events.

One more correction to your article. It’s still wrong path. As you can see in my screenshot folder “vc_extend” is NOT placed in “includes” it is exactly one folder above it. Your article say this:

But in fact it’s this:
wp-content/plugins/uncode-core/vc_extend/assets/js/fix_inputs.js

Hi magnumko! Thank you but no need, the problem is exactly related to some component that is installed on some Windows builds. One of our support guys updated Windows just yesterday to test the problem and didn’t have this problem (latest of everything).

I talked today (it’s a story isn’t it) with two individual developers. With on i talked personally with one remotely. One is high profile even for your standards. His product is selling about the same quantity as your one on themeforest. I know him personal. I am not developer like you guys are but we had a coffee today so i shared a story.
It’s interesting that both of them told me same angle (they don’t know each other).
They said this is the first time they hear a local running OS or OS update broke some function which is running on a remote server through browser. And that this is practically impossible especially since i had same problem on my Mac Mini and iPad ???
One argued that actually he can see this possible but only if product i am using ( your product ) is using non standard programming. So much nonstandard that OS security measures would broke it.
I argued with him that it must be Windows update because update timeline is probable – and then he told me this:
Think about it. If Uncode is developing by today standards like everyone else and if Windows updates broke color picker function – that same or similar function would stop working in pretty much every other competitive product in every other user home. I told him it’s a rare bug but he argued that definition of “rare” is relative when it comes to total pool of Windows users using themeforest products. His opinion is that themeforest-wordpress section would be flooded with Windows 10 people reporting problems in other products. But this is not happening.
All in all he said that in his opinion your claim about Windows 10 update breaking Uncode color picker on remote server is just a way to avoid acceptance of responsibility for a bug especially because you tried to convince me at first how you have large pool of users and that i am the only one.
And your claim doesn’t explain same issue happening on my MacMini and iPad which is not running Windows at all.
He got me thinking about it. I am giving it a rest. It was a journey to me.
I told my wife about this story (he know jacksh** about web). He said that both of us (you and me) wasted our time because of me being too proud and lacking polite tone to have nice conversation, you being so (falsely) sure about yourself and your 52 000 of users that you lost a way looking through an eye of a basic small user.
I actually think she may be right and my friend may be right. I don’t know what’s happening but MacMini is not windows, and ipad OS 13.2 is far from being Windows. So indeed your claim about Windows update being a culprit seems very odd.

If you want to tell your skilled developers friends to contact us, we are happy, so we speak the same ‘language’, and we understand each other. For example, it’s reductive to say that an IOS update broke a color dropdown when we’re talking about custom modules, Javascript events, which are no longer recognized and user agents. Maybe they can read the differences in the files and validate our version. I am afraid I have to disagree with some of your points because I immediately warned you as soon as another user with valid support reported the same problem that was fixed in less than 12 hours. But if I didn’t have this problem when testing from a PC, an iPad, and a MacBook, I can’t say I see a bug that I can’t replicate, and other users are not reporting. In fact, the problem does not happen on all Windows (proving the fact that here you can’t find any additional comments from other users). Plus, you’re now talking as if we were scoundrels when a large group of Beta Testers tests every update before it’s published. You know oddities happen here and there, and they also happen to companies like Apple that, after the publication of a version, must release a small patches update. This is because they are not serious? If it wasn’t of our interest, I could have avoid to answer you, since not all the authors of ThemeForest answer to who don’t have a valid support and there is also a message of Envato that remembers you this before send the message. Anyway, thank you for your considerations and final thoughts.

And very interesting that you are repeating what i told you in the first place. That it doesn’t matter you have pool of 52 000 users – you can not cover all scenarios.
I like your style. Now it’s all back again to “if i can’t replicate it i can’t fix it”
