Hi, it was just that one time after the update. It does sound like a cache issue, it hasn’t happened since but I’ll keep an eye on it.

Hi, after 4 days the same thing happened again today. There have been no updates to the WP Core, theme or plugins as well as their settings.

We do have a caching plugin (hummingbird) enable, I have also disabled it this morning when the login screen hung on trying to login as well. Do you have any suggestions on things we can try as they appears to be random.

You can try and see if that will happen again, if the message hangs it could be an error in the Ajax response from the server.

Hi, I checked this morning and it was fine, a couple of hours later users were complaining they couldn’t login.

I looked for errors while this happened (looked into error logs and there weren’t any new errors, went to turn wp_debug to true and run it to see if any error messages generated on page and they didn’t (guess because its an ajax issue) and I used my browser inspect tool and the only thing I found is this:

GET https://stogryncommunity.com/wp-content/themes/buddyapp/lib/plugins/bbpress/less/bbpress.css?ver=5.3 net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)

Can you tell me where I can get that to add in, and also anything I can do to fix this error?

Note: it always get solved by resaving the page then we can login again, if not it just hangs on login.

I removed the BBPress for now. I got it working by using the 1.7.4 version of the theme, but decided not use the forums for now. There’s a lot that could be done to improve this theme from a developers point of view. For example, the icon selection for menu items is tedious as hell and could do with having a search feature (having to scroll down the list of tiny icons each time, slowly looking for the right icon, hurts the eyes. A search feature would help). Overall, it’s not bad though, but I’d have expected a bit more for the money I paid.

Just my opinion, nothing more.

Your theme doesn’t fully support myCRED plugin. I can’t use the Sell Content add-on. I enable it, but on the Post or Page editor the option for selecting paid content doesn’t show (The header for the widget does, just not the widget content). I’ve tried a different Theme again, and the myCRED sell content widget works fine.

Same issue. Two installations, one with no added plugins and one with..

We only get 6 months of support and issues like this popping up after that support period ends is going to be a deal breaker for me and I might just request a refund.

Jesus and another issue… Can you add in some support for saving the logo options.. as every time I need to switch back to the old theme because your new one is broken, or back to the new one when you release fixes, I find that my logos have reset .. I’m able to save the menu icons and colours (thankfully), but I’d also like to keep logo changes…

If I find more issues I’m just going to email you .. sigh!

There’s issues with the javascript.. (for me the menu icon top right doesn’t minimise the menu block any more)... Seems to be a missing files issue again!!!

Sorry for being so anal about all this. But when you’re trying to build a community website, stuff like this loses you precious members. Bugs turn people away and that’s tough for a new community. I paid for a theme so I didn’t have to deal with crap like this!!!

When moving menu items for newly added and custom menu items, ALL previous icon and colour options reset (randomly happens, but does so every other icon move)..

Ok. Like you hadn’t had the previous problem before either and you had to get me to let you log in before you’d believe me. You had in fact missed out some files I’m pretty sure most of your buyers don’t notice because A ) they don’t use or care about that feature or B ) they just ignore it because they’re noobs!
