Hi,

Hi, im having issues with LSVR Elements, everytime is is activated it crashes the site into HTTP 500 error. can you advise what might be causing this.
Hi,
try to enable WP debug mode, that will display the error message instead of just generic error 500 and share that error here.

I have updated the theme from version 1.58 to version 2.31 (current). Everything I have added: services, etc… have dissapeared.
How can I get it back ?
I am working with WordPress for years and this is the first time when I see something like this.
Please do not reply that my support expired as I did not wanted to update. But, the old version stopped working. Which is definitely not normal.
I put back the old version but now it is showing lots of things like: width=”1/3″ offset=”vc_hidden-sm vc_hidden-xs”]
How do I remove this ?
I will tell you the problem. The is an incompatibility with WP Bakery? Where can I download the last version
Hi,
just for the record, you can find the last 1.x version in the full package in the Legacy folder.
As for the WPBakery update, please read this.
You should always read the changelog before you update the theme, especially if you haven’t updated for several months.

Just for the record, I have updated the js_composer, but it is still not working and breaking the site.
Can I have a solution for this ?
So now you are back on BlueCollar 1.6.2 and using WPBakery 6.0.3, correct? What version of WordPress are you running? Try to open the page which is showing that code and resave it.
Yes, I am back on BlueCollar 1.6.2 and using WPBakery 6.0.3. I can resave because in the wp-admin it says that the site is experience technical difficulties. SonI can’t use the admin.
I have to go via ftp and rename all the 3 plugins to have the admin work again.
BTW, when in backend, make sure to explicitly enable the WPBakery when editing a page (there should be a button for that at the top).
When you downgraded back to 1.x, have you removed all the 2.x LSVR plugins? The easiest way to do that is to deactivate all LSVR plugins. Then you will be prompted to activate ones required by the current theme version and you can remove the rest.
Another thing to do is to make sure you are running PHP 5.6. You can check with your host provider. Most hostings allow you to change the version via their admin panel.
I made the update of today and the things are back as they were. I had to save the permalinks again before the things worked.
I had to set the php 5.6. It does not work with php 7.3.
Now, is there an automatic way to update to the last version ? 2.x ? Of course, I will pay for support.
But, given the information and beta-testing made by me, the update should be free
But you are not supposed to update the theme if you are running 1.x version. Please read this. I thought you are already aware of that.
You can downgrade back to 1.x by using the installable .zip file from the full package / Legacy folder. Remove your current theme version and all the LSVR plugins first.
The 2.x is not compatible with 1.x. This has nothing to do with you having or not having active support. If you do want to update to 2.x then you will basically have to rebuild your site from the scratch, as only standard posts and standard pages not using custom theme elements will be preserved. Again, even if you purchase the support, there is nothing I can do about that.
The thing is that you do not have to update to 2.x at all. Just update the WPBakery, install the Classic Editor plugin and even the 1.x version should work fine with the latest WordPress version.
Yes, but php 5.6 ? This is ancient. Normally, if there is an update, this must be available for everyone.
While the 1.x wasn’t properly tested with PHP 7 and the 5.6 is the safe version to use with it, I am not aware of any issues with 1.x running on PHP 7 either. I’ve just quickly tested it on my dev machine with PHP 7.3 and it works fine. Can you please share what kind of error are you getting on PHP 7?
“Normally, if there is an update, this must be available for everyone” – what update do you mean? The theme update? Because that is available for everyone, I mean you’ve just said you’ve updated to it.
BTW, my advice to use 5.6 was because I though you were using even the older PHP version. If you were already running the PHP 7 with the 1.x before, then of course you should stay on it.
Dear!
Theme update did messed up my webpage… All the styling are missing.
Hi,
if you’ve updated from 1.x please read this. You can downgrade back to 1.x. To do so, remove your current version and all LSVR plugin, then download the full package, unzip it and install the bluecollar.zip from Legacy / BlueCollar v1 folder.
Please note that your support has expired. You will have to renew it (under your ThemeForest account / Downloads) if you need additional assistance.

Hi,
I have an issue with the menu dropdowns in the theme. The dropdown works fine on Chrome, but on firefox the dropdowns are working on homepage. If we go to another page the dropdown is not working. If I reload the page sometimes it works. Please help me to solve this problem. My website is here https://jasonsplumbing.com.au/
Hi,
I quickly browsed through some of your pages and header menu dropdowns worked for all of them every time in the Firefox. You are also the only buyer reporting this so it is probably something on your end. Try it on a different computer please. Also you should use a caching plugin like this one, because your site is rather slow which may be related to this issue.
BTW, you are using outdated version of the theme. There is already version 2.3.0 out. Please note that I provide support only for the latest version. Here is how you can update.

Hi, All images on the site are gone – not showing up, how I can fix it? I have download a image from wp-content/uploads/2018/10 with FTP, but don’t show up too on my desktop.
Hi,
please share your URL, but this doesn’t sound like anything theme-related.

Hello,
How can I add the LSVR SERVICE sidebar on the left of every service page?
Thanks
Hi,
under Appearance / Customize / Services.
Lubos
Hi,
How do I add the left side service menu from the page of every service that I added.
Thank you, Claudiu Cristea
Hi,
create a sidebar under Appearance / Customize / Custom Sidebars. Add a LSVR Services widget to it under Appearance / Widgets. Assign this sidebar to service detail pages under Appearance / Customize / Services (refresh the page if you don’t see that sidebar).

Hello,
I’m trying to change a little bit the title for the BlueCollar Services. I need to write a part of the title with a font size and the other with other font size. Something like this:
Text1 (size 1) Text2 (size2)
Is there a way to achieve that ?
Thank you Claudiu
Hi,
do you mean services archive page title or service detail page title?
Lubos
I mean the title wich appears on the front page. I need to have 2 different texts with different font size Claudiu
Put this code to the title field:
<strong>text 1</strong><br /> <strong>text 2</strong>
And this one to the CSS field under Appearance / Customize / Additional CSS:
.lsvr-bluecollar-services__title strong { font-weight: normal; }
.lsvr-bluecollar-services__title strong:first-child { font-size: 10px; }
.lsvr-bluecollar-services__title strong:last-child { font-size: 20px; }
It worked Thaks

I can not do it.

Hi,
I am sorry but you need to clarify your question, I don’t understand what exactly do you need.

Hi,
I purchased your theme a while ago but never used it, I am trying to use it now but there is no options to add demo content, why not?
Hi,
are you using latest version of the theme (2.2.0)? have you installed the One Click Demo Import plugin as mentioned in the documentation? Make sure to read through the whole documentation.
Please note that since your support is expired, you will have to extend it if you will need any further assistance.

Hi.
I have been using Blue Collar for quite some time. I run a child theme on Blue Collar 1.5.6
I just tried to update it through Envato Updater. Failed.
So I did it the old way through FTP. I also updated WP Bakery and disabled Gutemberg. All the plugins were also updated
The problem is, I now see shortcodes instead of my old site.
Do I have to rebuild the whole home screen as I had to do it when I updated Neuwiller.fr running on Pressville?
This is very frustrating,
For the moment I had to restore an old version of the site.
What would be your advice for a smooth transition? What steps would be ideal?
Thank you very much.
Best..
Laurent
Hi,
please read this. The BlueCollar 2.x is not compatible with 1.x. So if you want to update to 2.x, you will have to basically create your whole site from the scratch (only posts and regular pages not using theme’s custom shortcodes will be preserved). However, if you are happy with you 1.x version there is no need to update. You can update to the latest 1.x version which can be found in the full package in the Legacy folder.
The Pressville had only a Gutenberg update, so if you wanted to switch to Gutenberg, you of course had to redone your homepage (or keep using the WPbakery). But the BlueCollar 2.x is a complete remake of a theme, not just homepage, everything. Now it runs on the same framework as the Pressville, so the admin is much easier to use. Doing it without breaking the compatibility was simply not possible. And if I wouldn’t update it, I would have to remove it since it wasn’t meeting the current code standard anymore. Again, if you are happy with the 1.x version, there is noting to worry about, keep using it.
Lubos
Hi
thank you very much. I understand now why everything is “broken”.
The good news is that if you do update to 2.x, you will have the same admin experience as with the Pressville. And most importantly, you will be set for years, as there shouldn’t be any huge, compatibility breaking updates anytime soon. Also, it is not just the admin, there was some major changes on the front-end too. Take a look at the new demo site, maybe you will like it more and it will encourage you to update to 2.x.
I think I customized the site so much that I can’t find the difference anymore. But I might do the transition on a staging server. This will make the transition less hasardous. Thank you for your help.
You should definitely do it on a staging server if you decide to update. Doing it on your live site is not recommended at all.
Hi, i’m getting the following error – the site doesn’t load at all (latest theme and child theme)

Hi,
make sure you are running PHP 5.6 or higher. Please contact your hosting provider if you are not sure about that.
Lubos
I’m running PHP Version 7.1.1
What you did before those errors appeared? Have you used the BlueCollar 1.x version before on that same installation? I need bit more details from you. This is not a known issue, it seems like something specific to your installation so please be more descriptive.
Here is what went down. I believe I was on version 1.4.7 of your template. Today the customer reported to me that the site was down. I enabled debug logs and got a similar error message as above but for the child theme function.php.
I assumed that wordpress got updated automatically, however, I can’t even access the dashboard! So I downloaded your latest theme, and only replaced the function.php file in the child theme only! That didn’t help. Then I updated the entire main theme (by overwrite, not delete and copy), and it produced the latest error from my first message referring to main theme’s function.php. (FYI, I have a backup of the previous version’s main theme and child theme, so I can revert if needed). Still can’t access the dashboard.
To make things even more confusing, I went on to the host’s cpanel (netfirms.com) and noticed that the entire control panel software they use got updated to some next level thing. I am not sure which version of php they were running before they updated the cpanel – it’s possible that it was 7.1.1 before as well.
I think that’s the full story.
Not sure if you are aware, but few months ago a BlueCollar 2.0 was released. This version is NOT compatible with the 1.x branch, so this error aside, you probably don’t want to update to the latest version. You can find the latest 1.x version in the full package in the Legacy folder. So first thing you should try, is to remove the current version and all LSVR plugins and install this legacy one to see if this won’t resolve your issue.
If that won’t help, then try to disable all plugins. If no luck, then switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. The point is, you need to find out if the issue comes from the theme or the WordPress itself.
Both legacy and the new version works fine on PHP 7.1.1 on my installation, so this seems like something host-specific.
Also, I did some googling and found many WP sites which have the same error log (while they are using bunch of different themes), so this is very strange indeed.
Thanks for the advice, I’ll try that – not sure how much I’ll be able to do without having access to the dashboard haha I’ll let you know if I figure out the problem.
Just do it via FTP. Remove bluecollar folder from wp-content/themes and all folders prefixed with “lsvr-” from wp-content/plugins. Then, if it was a conflict with the theme, you should be able to access the dashboard. However if still no luck, then I guess you should get in touch with your host, because I can’t really help you with non-theme related issues.
Removing the theme and lsvr-toolkit allowed me to get back into the dashboard. I’ll try adding the old version back in.
Adding the old 1.4.7 version back with its child, even without the lsvr plugin causes the error again:

Try to install the latest 1.x version form the Legacy folder.
Ended up fixing by downgrading to PHP 5.6
Your PHP 7 was probably missing some modules or something like that, I have no problems running both old and new versions on 7.1.1.
yes. I think you’re right. I’m going to attempt to upgrade again sometime soon and try to make it work. Will you update you then again. Thank you so much for looking into this on such short notice!
No problem! However, please note that since your support already expired, you will have to extend it if you will need an assistance in the future. Thanks for your understanding.
Understood, and I will gladly pay for further support!
Hi, I can’t update the wp Visual composer plugin
Hi,
follow this tutorial please. However please note that the current bundled version is 5.6, I will be updating to the latest version in the next theme update.

Hi there,
my questions is – i have the blog page and we share different posts, but on the main blog page the content looks different as on the post page – https://www.okay-umzuege.de/umzugsblog/ and https://www.okay-umzuege.de/zwei-monate-bis-zum-umzug/. Also is there setup to have only sum up from the text? then i can use your feature with 4 column for the main blog page.
