Hi there, I have begun work on updating a site which uses Dream Spa theme. I have updated the theme and supporting plugins for version 2.5. When I attempt to make changes to theme settings, none of the toggles or settings are working or saving in the theme settings panel.
Any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.

We do not update the older version of our DreamSpa theme. We do advice all our theme users to switch over to the newer visual composer version for latest wordpress and security updates.

Thanks for the prompt response. This places me in a predicament as my client does not have budget or expect to redevelop the site from scratch using the new theme vesrion 3.9. 
Is there any information available on porting content from the old site and reworking this on the new site without redeveloping completely from scratch?

I’ve kept the website at the dreamspa-old version, but I’m now trying to (finally) redo the website in the new version. I’ve got a separate install done, but want to know if I can still use the “Transfer Theme Options Data” option from the Backup and Restore section of theme options to import into the new site? I know it’s a different framework, but would like to avoid having to start completely over. Any advice on simplifying the process would be appreciated.

You can install the new version in separately and proceed. Don’t install both themes (Old & New version) in the same folder. If any queries let us know.

i would like to add a ticket in your support. but i can’t login. i got no mail or something. so …
the first problem was, that the revslider does not automatical update. not show that it should be to update. i have update the php-version to 7.3 and i get so many errors because of the revslider. but it does not show that i should do a update on this slider. i download all files of the theme here and copy the plugin revslide from this files. now the slider works on frontend but in backend i cant edit the exist slider or create a new slider. the button does not work. so i deactived and try some other plugins. in this case i see that i cant click all other buttons in the backend. they do not work. the buttons in the editor of pages do not work. the button “files to content” over the editor do not work. and so on. i have deactivate all plugins but the buttons in the editor do not work. so i will update the theme. but there is also not show that this should be updated and i cant click the theme because it does not work. i have downgrade the php-version to 7.1 but this also not change the problems. iam very frustrated.

I know now that the problem was caused by the problem with table rate a woocommerce plugin . I tried to open a ticket but I can’t because I can’t copy the informations of the state of it. I found that the problem is in the javascript errors in mytheme.admin.js: “Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).live is not a function” other than “Uncaught TypeError: a.browser is undefined” in jquery.tools.admin.js I hope the problems are by the dream-spa theme becaus I don’t what to do!! I want to ask you if you can speak with woocommerce about this kind of problem! I’m desperate! Thank you

It seems you have used our old version 1.7.8. If you want to use version 3.5, You need to rebuild your site again because in this version we removed our inbuilt theme shortcode builder and used “Visual Composer” plugin to create site content.

Hello, I am migrating from Dreamspa version 2.5 to Dreamspa 3.5. How can I align the logo to the left, get the search bar and the social icons to display in the header and the four column footer to display- like in the old Dreamspa 2.5? In Dreamspa 3.5 I can only have a centered logo (no options to move the logo to either side) and I have no footer and no social media options. The ‘Sociable’ features described in your documentation are not available.Thank you for your help.

Dreamspa version 2.5 – This is our old version. Dreamspa 3.5 – This is new version. If you want to migrate 2.5 to 3.5, Then you need to rebuild your site because in our old version we have used our own theme page builder but in 3.5 we have used “Visual Composer” page builder. So you need to rebuild.

Yes, I am aware of that I have to rebuild the site. But I do not see any options in the new Dreamspa 3.5 to move the position of the logo to the left, add the search bar and social icons to the header and have a four column footer. There seems to be no default header/footer configurations to choose from, also there are no social icons available any more. Am I missing something or is the version 3.5. much more difficult to work with?

Thank you. I see that it offers much more flexibility with the new pagebuilder but setting up a simple header like described above has now become a complex task. Instead of just three clicks.The search bar is not stylable at all from the composer so one needs to write custom CSS, It would have been nice to have some default templates for the header and footer to choose from to have the same styling as the old Dreamspa 2.5 had.
I have checked the demo content now and see that you have a 4 column footer there and have styled the search bar with CSS to give the same design as Dreamspa 2.5. I think I can copy that CSS styling and use it on the new site. Even though it is more difficult than before it will work for me. Thank you.

Sorry, our theme is not compatible with the elementor page builder. Our theme comes with Page builder/shortcode builder demo content and its support with visual composer page builder. You can create the new pages with visual composer modules, and edit the dummy content with Page builder/shortcode builder.
