top level items will indicate that only if one of them is currently viewed, children items that are selected are also highlighted if you look at the dropdown menu. Makes no sense to highlight the parent or parent of a parent. Only the currently displayed item should be highlighted.

If your theme does not do something, it does not mean that the mentioned thing does not make sense. A better answer would have been simply that no it does not highlight the parent.

If not working at this point it will at least point you in the right direction.

your account is good. I see you posted a question in the forum. If your account was “View Only” then you would not be able to post anything. Most likely caching is playing a number on your, try logging out of the forum, clear the browser cache then sign back in. You are find though, just ignore that nag if it doesn’t go away right away.

just click the Dismiss notice in the notification and it should go away. If it doesn’t then you have a caching issue, most likely some third party caching plugin that you need to disable while doing this or purge the cache.

what about the logo height, you seem to have it set to 0px, make sure it’s set to whatever you logo image height is, in this case 75px

Ah hold on, I have now installed the theme and can see you complete the setup first then the plugin installations are available. You set the responsive logo from the theme’s “Responsive Layout” section. There is actually a logo there right now, I can see it when I change the background color of the top area from white to something darker. The logo is the HealthCoach one which is white. You can’t see it because it’s white against white background. Anyhow, you can change it from the Responsive Layout section.

With Gutenberg gaining momentum third party page builders could be a thing of the past soon, after all GB was introduced to start filling that void overtime which has been exploded by so many plugins, I think it was obvious from the start that WP was lacking in that department! Having said that it’s a wait and see game at this point but I’m pretty sure that’s where things are heading. Question of time!

I’ve had some of my clients use Elementor with the theme in the past but since I don’t officially support it I don’t know to what extend they are compatible, it could very well be that Elementor doesn’t really care about the theme as much as it does its own styling.. I’d say if you have the plugin already give it a try and see if you could use it with the theme.

Thank you – I tried that, and am getting the error that the license is active on an old domain (http://fivewomenfourseasons.com) rather than the current domain (https://earthseasoned.com). The client changed the name of the project/domain some time ago, and WPBakery is stuck at version 5.6.

depends which of the demos you had in mind. The theme doesn’t need these page builder to functions, absolutely not. Some of the demos were built entirely with the theme’s core features. Shortcode, widget and some other functionality have been moved from the theme to the “U-Design Core” plugin, so make sure to install it from the theme’s “Related Plugins page.

This is a bug with WPBakery release that comes with the theme. I’ll be making available the latest “WPBakery Page Builder” plugin version 6.0.5 in the next few days, here’s the changelog: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/preface/release-notes/ I guess you currently have v6.0.3, check the v6.0.5 changelog description, the second item talks about fixing an issue with the filters.

Yes, since version 3.3.0 of the theme you need to have the “U-Design Core” plugin installed and activated. Glad you’ve figured this out on your own. Regarding your second question, are you talking about the little gap? You can close that one with a negative margin in a blank div. Post your question in the support forum and I’ll show you how.
