On your themeforest page it says Last Update: 26 November 19 and when we download the theme its not even updated… are you serious? Dont you think this frustrates us more. Your WPBakery plugin that is modified to work with your theme is NOT updated and NOT working with the new wordpress update. WE need have things working.

Are you using Jupiter 6 theme? The latest version of it is 6.4.1 https://themes.artbees.net/support/jupiter/release-notes/ . What you see on ThemeForest is related to small updates in Jupiter X theme (as you know 2 archives are included in the package). What WPBakery version are you using now? Is it 6.0.5? Did you update it via Jupiter > Control Panel > Required Plugins?

You don’t need to activate LayerSlider plugin. It’s bundled in the theme and updates will be provided along with a new theme version. If you want to use some premium features of the plugin, you have to buy the license yourself. This rule is related to all premium themes on ThemeForest. Thank you.
I don’t know which theme I have purchased.. Jupiter X or simple Jupiter
In our main package there are 2 archives: Jupiter X and Jupiter 6. If you want to use Elementor page builder, you need install Jupiter X. Jupiter 6 uses WPBakery page builder.

WPBakery is not working after i updated to wordspress 5.3
i am using Jupiter 6.4.1
if i switched to Jupiter X will there be any problems? will i lose any of my work? plus is there going to be any new updates for Jupiter 6.4.1?

What WPBakery version are you using? Did you update it to 6.0.5 version? If you switch to Jupiter X, you’ll lose only theme settings as Theme Options are not available in Jupiter X, and you have to configure it via Customizer, but your pages will be saved and content will be shown as WPBakery is included in Jupiter X too. Hi. I have encountered an issue where when I change or remove the background image on a section all the styling within that section is reset. Fonts, colours, background, everything resets. Impossible to work like that. Please can you advise. Latest updates all installed. No additional plugins active.

Are you using Jupiter X with Elementor or Jupiter 6? Could you switch to other theme to check if the issue persists there too or only with our theme? Pre-purchase question, if I buy Jupiter X does it come with Elementor & WP Bakery Page Builder? Your plugin list that shows what it comes with doesn’t include elementor so want to be sure.

Yes, Elementor and WPBakery plugins are included in Jupiter X, but preferable page builder is Elementor in Jupiter X, as WPBakery was added for the old customers who want to upgrade from Jupiter 6 to Jupiter X and keep using WPBakery content from the previous version. Anyway if you want to use WPBakery editor in Jupiter X, you can do this, just install Jupiter Donut plugin as well which is bundled. Thank you.

Ticket No. #99329 After updating Jupiter and the plugins, everything but “Widgets” disappeared out of the Customizer admin area. This is the other ticket that has been in for several days. I received a reply from your tech asking for FTP details, which I provided promptly. He replied that he could not get in, which was not correct. I had two other web designers and a tech at Hostgator, as well as myself retest the FTP details and they worked perfectly using Filezilla. I sent two screenshots of the Customizer area and the successful FTP access. I am a bit panicked that all of the customizations will be wiped out, as just happened with the other Jupiter reset. I am hoping Jupiter gets stabilized as this is a great template that does not serious issues during updates over and over. Between the Core and Raven everyone is going bonkers. One of the other is causing problems with Elementor.

Thank you for finding the the issue BUT …I am a longtime and avid user of Gravity Forms and what I have to report it is that the NEW conflict on my new client site was with the plugin “Styles & Layouts for Gravity Forms”.

What is disconcerting is that it seems every time I go in to do updates, there is always a NEW problem with something, whether it is Raven, or Core, or a conflict with WordPress.
FYI: Gravity Forms is something millions of us use and this particular addon features provider for Gravity Forms is one of the best we have out there.
I never had this problem with Visual Composer. I am trying to use Elementor, as I do like the speed of design, but the conflicts are causing me more time to fix. Twice now, on the last two tickets, when you make your fixes to get the site back up, or Customizer working again …. I had to spend a couple of hours on each site to reset ALL the customization … All of my original settings had been wiped out by your tech who was helping me get the sites back up or work properly! That cost me more time than Elementor saved me in design!!! And I had to reset, test and retest Tablet and Mobile settings. What a pain in the AAAAAAsSSSSS!
And, by the way, I AM updating the theme and the core plugins in the proper order. It makes no difference, I am still having these issues. I own 13 JupiterX licenses, half of which I haven’t even used yet … and I need to build my own new sites on these in 2020. If this continues happening when various updates happen that have these types of MAJOR conflicts and issues, I am going to have to figure out what to do about continuing to design with JupiterX. You need to take this seriously as JupiterX is still NOT stable and losing our customizations like this is a serious issue!!!!
I know you are trying to make JupiterX the best out there, but when I look at the community forum, I see that I am not alone in my concerns. Many other developers are having the same problems.

I currently have two client sites with issues I can’t resolve and I have submitted tickets for both. The most serious is Ticket Number: #99350. This is TOTALLY DOWN for 4 days. Your tech replied that he could not get in with the FTP credentials I sent him. But that is impossible.
I have had three other designer friends use the exact credentials, plus I had Hostgator test it. I attached a screenshot to my ticket showing the successful login in and relisted the FTP in my reply. THE FTP DOES WORK! All of us got in perfectly.
We are four days in on this ticket and my client is very angry about this. It has been two days since I replied to your tech.
HISTORY: The site went down when I was doing the normal update, using the exact protocol we always use for JupiterX. I read your recent email that stated you have a new version coming out but that is ZERO help to me as the crash in JupiterX has so damaged the site we can’t even get in the admin area.
I had Hostgator set another theme in, but the minute we tried to delete Jupiter so that I could reinstall the new version off Themeforest, it crashed again -JupiterX would NOT delete. We can’t update, we can’t reinstall .. we can’t do anything but look at a blank screen. This is truly a trainwreck and I need one of your senior techs to fix this thing.
I have 13 of my own Jupiter licenses, apart from my 35 clients and I am a very long time and loyal client. I get really anxious whenever I have to do an update to the old Jupiter or the new X as I have no less than 6 major problems that took days to fix. You guys do great work, but there are times I am pulling my hair out when these updates fail and the site take hours to deal with through your ticket system. Updates should not cause this many problems so frequently. Thanks so much for taking care of this … and I do hope that JupiterX does get stable someday soon. Again the Ticket Number: #99350.
Thank you for getting the Site back up .. BUT all of the customizations were gone – from the logo the menu to the headers to containers … all of it was wiped. It took a couple hours to reset and test the site for the three sizes. You really need to get this template stable moving forward as to release updates that can wipe out all of the customization is truly not acceptable. I have one more ticket in and am praying that that client site will not have the same thing happen!
