Can you tell me when are you planning to update your theme compatible with WooCommerce 3.8, update all outdated WooCommerce templates and also WordPress 5.3 ? Thanks Dany

As for WooCommerce 3.8 you can see in our changelog here that compatibility was added with version 19.01
And when it comes to WordPress version 5.3 we have tested Bridge theme and can’t see any issues in performance. Everything is working fine for sure and it is not a part in our change log as we did not have to change anything for compatibility. It is already compatible.

I activated this theme on my domain few days ago but was struggling with importing the 178 theme I want. Thinking there had been a couple of uncompleted theme upload, I decided to reinstall WordPress on the domain. I forgot to deactivate it. I have now tried to activate the theme on the new installation so that I can upload 178 or even another theme – whichever one works. It is asking for the theme to be deregistered from the other installation which is now no longer accessible.
Can you please check at your end and please help reset?
I tried submiting a request but it says my support has ended and I need to put a new support in. I bought this theme for later use and now is the time to use it. I do not need support as such; need the theme I have bought to just work and I would have expect your activation mechanism to realise it is still the same domain name.

Basically you will need to select Bridge Core plugin to be translated and there you will find the label All and will be able to change it to your needs with Loco translate plugin.

I updated the theme and since the update, when I activate my child theme, I have a blank page, when I activate the parent theme, the site is displayed correctly.

Please, just note that right procedure for doing update of Bridge is to: – first update our theme, here are instructions
– then to install/activate our new Bridge Core plugin and after you could update other of our plugins.Also, make sure to have parent theme activated while doing this update. Then if you have child theme and made some modification in functions.php code of your child theme, just check if you are using any method with “qode” prefix and replace it with “bridge_qode” After this, you are able to activate child theme, too. Everything should be working well.

Thank you for your reply. In my child theme, I only have the header.php file that I modified and added. So I replaced qode by bridge_qode, and now I have only the hamburger menu that appears on my page.

Child theme question
Hello!
Quick question. I started using the child theme as I change files often. I’ve been trying to override the woocommerce-dropdown-cart.php file, which is found in the framework folder. So I’ve made changes that I want to the file and placed it in my child theme in the exact same folder location. But it doesn’t seem to work. How can I override the default woocommerce-dropdown-cart.php file in the parent theme?

It is best practice to use hooks in your child theme functions.php to overwrite the themes files.

Hi,
I am planning to build a website using the Bridge theme for a client. The domain I will ultimately be linking it to is being used for my client’s current website.
If i activate the Bridge theme on one of my domains, can I then deactivate it, point their domain at my hosting, migrate the website I built, then reactivate the theme on the final domain?
Basically, I don’t want to have to buy the theme twice. It seems silly. If you have a suggestion for a better way to approach this problem i would greatly appreciate it!
