Smush image optimize is a third party plugin which we have not tested with our theme and can therefor not guaranty compatibility with our theme. Also you should know that on our demo website we are having our portfolio images uploaded to have the same size so they will scale properly. You can as well try to Regenerate thumbnails with the same named plugin.

You should know Slider Revolution which comes bundled within our theme is a bit restricted and does not have an option to add templates as it comes with the regular licence of the plugins. However, you always have our templates that comes with the theme which you can use to adjust it to your needs.

So for you to access Slider Revolution templates you will have to have a purchased licence.

Thanks for taking an interest in our theme. You should know that every theme comes with different features and layout. In our Bridge theme the portfolio list and image gallery are a bit different from our other themes that you have provided and example to. So something similar could be achieved with our Portfolio List shortcode where you can choose to have a masonry, pinterest or alternating sizes as you can see in our screenshot here.

And as for the image gallery you could use our Qode image slider shortcode to get something similar as in La Comete theme https://www.screencast.com/t/rQcDhVywyF4

Thank you for your kind words! We are glad that you like our themes! You should know that in La Comet theme, since it has been released there has not been any significant changes when it comes to performance and functionality.

Do note that we are constantly working on updating all our themes and at the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out but it will for sure be soon. So if you feel like La Comet theme is everything you need you I can suggest you to go for it as it is worth it for sure. Everything will work as intended with the version released and for sure do note that the update of the theme as well will be released soon.

If you are still unsure you can always go with Bridge, as this theme has by far many possibilities and many demos to choose from it will maybe not be exactly as La Comet layout but similar things can for sure be achieved using Bridge as well.

1. If you refer to the image gallery there is unfortunately no option to choose another image as the hover image within our themes option. If you somehow referred to another element it would mean a lot if you could provide us with the URL of that page so we can know which element you refer to. Thanks.

2. You can use the Side area and add Widgets in Appearance > Widgets what you would like to be present in that Side Area. This can be seen in our demo page here

Please check our article on suggestions what you can do to improve your page speed here as well as check the results on GTMetrix I could as well inspect your site. What I can say from there is that you are using a very outdated version of the theme, so I would suggest you to update the theme and its plugins to the latest version following our guidance here as well as I also suggest you to turn off all your 3rd party plugins which might hide behind the cause of this. Do note that we have not tested these plugins for compatibility with our theme and therefor we cannot guaranty it will work.

Basically, minor modifications of this file would help you to get better grade related to speed of page loading
