Today wordpress has been updated to version 5.5.
I want to report that the slider of this theme is broken after the update, some incompatibility has with respect to the new version of wordpress.
I have disabled the cache plugins that I use both WP Rocket and SG optimizer and the slider does not work, I would like it to be reviewed and a solution given.

I have disabled the WP Favorite Posts plugin and the slider works again. The problem is that in the wordpress version 5.5 they have updated the jQuery, and the obsolete versions will stop working in the future, I hope they can update the theme soon.

You are right about the jQuery issues. The support for certain function was being added using modernizr.js which is removed in this recent version.
The theme isn’t using any outdated version however the plugin we gave support for has some deprecated ones as explained before. I hope they will fix it soon. Our team will also push the fix on their repository so that they can update it soon.

You need to create or use available API plugins for your WordPress installation to attach it with the application. I can not be much of a help in the regard but you can get many helpful data on the internet regarding this task.

When a subscriber logs in, are they able to create a recipe on the front end? I don’t want them to have to go to a dashboard and deal with posts. The recipe needs to get posted right away. As an admin, I do not need to approve the recipe as it is their own submission. Only logged in subscribers would be able to view their own recipes. I’m currently testing out a membership plugin named “MemberMouse” to manage subscribers. Thanks. Bob

The subscriber can only submit recipes from the front-end. The user can visit the backend but only for his own profile changes.
The submitted recipe will be pending for admin’s approval but if you want to change that then there will be a small change in code and recipes will be submitted automatically. Our support can help you with that tweek.
The subscribers can see only their own recipes on the front end view.

I have a custom login plugin. I can’t remove the built in one on the sample recipe page. No matter what I do it still shows up. I can give you a screen shot but after I build my custom logon the stock one always shows up on the “submit recipe” page.

I'm testing the new version of the topic and I have two problems, I still have version 3.1.11. On my main page I use the left slider, when updating to the new theme the slider does not work on the main page, it is grayed out and does not show the recipes. I have seen that the Google inspector shows me a CORS policy block to something that has to do with Google fonts, do you think that could be that?
2. I have activated the child theme and I want to make a change in the main.php file, but when I put it inside the css folder of my child theme with the changes I have made it doesn't work, it always takes the ones from the parent theme. I've also tried to put the changes in the custom child.php file, I think it's called and it doesn't work either. In the end I have to make the changes on the parent topic.All this has been tested without cache plugins of any kind to avoid problems.It would be advisable to update the topics delete any option or something from the wordpress database?Lately I am having too many problems with the update, sincerely the part that worries me most is that the slider does not work, the modifications could be done directly in the parent topic.Any ideas especially that I can try to find the slider problem?Best Regards

Finally I was able to solve the theme of the slider, it was the fault of the wordpress customizer, I did not have the option to show recipes.
But now the problem I have is that I have an information widget in the footer and it doesn’t show it to me and I don’t understand why. It is a custom HTML footer.

1- When you activate the red style, the punctuation forks of the recipes appear in red and in green.
2- With the red style the read more button on top of it changes to green, I don’t know if it is a bug or a bet effec.

You need to go through the files again to do the nutrition value editing. We also have improved the theme by following the schema.org guidelines so there much not be much to change for google microformats.
You can make the word changed in the translation files and also can change the slug from customizer options.
There is no possibility having a child plugin of course. However, you can let our support know the changes and request there to get some hooks added to the plugin so that you can get those altered from the child theme.
