I love this theme but just realized you have NO way to put recent blog posts in a sidebar widget. What is up with that? I don’t want to use it inside a post page- I want to have a blog sidebar that shows certain posts by category. Is there any other way to accomplish this?

You can definitely put the recent post inside the sidebar, please simply go to Appearance > Widgets and select the Recent Post widget from there as can be seen in this screenshot => https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuNQ9y0

Hey there,
I consider trying this theme, but I still have a couple of questions after I went through all the features:
1. Is there a global framed/passepartout option available to apply a fixed border to the whole site? 2. Is it possible to show the dropdown cart widget as a slide out from right cart instead? 3. For header type 6, is it possible to show the cart widget left to the hamburger menu instead of the search icon? 4. Generally, how detailed is the fusion builder for product single pages? I’m looking for a full height 50/50 layout with the product image fixed to the left and the product details section to the right being scrollable. Does your editor support to build such layouts for normal pages as well?

1. We do have a Boxed layout option in our theme however there is no border option but you can assign a border using custom CSS.
2. You can place any widget in our sliding bar and sliding bar can actually be set to be triggered from all 4 sides of the site.
3. Yes, that is possible and you can change that from the Theme Options => https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uDvNWx
4. The single product works on a pre-made template, however you can definitely use Fusion Builder in there, but a half scrollable section will require some customization there.

Hi, I also bought your theme several times. This time I want to build a rental website where people can see different products that I rent with different categories. I want simply add products (tools & gear) under the right category and every product need a picture, description and price. I don’t want a buy, booking or payment option in the site. I need a simple, nice and good filter option for products, like a product search and an filter option for mobile and desktop. Is this simply possible with Avada and do you have an example for me? Thanks!
p.s. I don’t want a login for customers, it’s only for showing my products online with some description etc.

You an still use the WooCommerce for this and then use kind of an advanced product search plugin for your advanced search requirements, you can also use portfolio options in our theme and it provides everything that you are looking for, however the search will be simple word based and can not be filtered so for that you will probably need to look for a custom searching solution, hope that was helpful, if you need any further assistance please open a support ticket and we will get back to you very soon.

Hello – Just purchased this theme and keep getting this error in System Report and cannot import any demo content, even though we have set php max var to 4000 and confirmed this setting with our host.
PHP Max Input Vars: [?] 1000 – Recommended Value: 1500. Max input vars limitation will truncate POST data such as menus.
Please advise.

I migrated from AWS to Bluehost. AWS said the theme for my WP site (Avado) was a team license, so I would have to purchase a new license of my own for the theme…which I just did. I can not figure out how to update this in my WP admin area. I tried to generate a new token and it won’t accept it. Please help me with being able to get rid of the OLD team license that belongs to AWS and change it to my updated one that I purchased earlier this evening. Please see quoted reply from Envato directing me to reach out to the author directly for help regarding this:

Any chance you guys are going to design a blog-focused template at some point? I LOVE Avada and everything about it, but the blog portion is still pretty weak relative to the rest of the functionality. Currently I use Newspaper theme for blog-heavy sites, but would low to switch to you guys if anything remotely similar is coming soon????

I have built a few websites using your theme and would like to consider moving my main website at bos.com to it as well. Currently, BOS uses Enfold theme (which uses a builder called avia). Can you help me understand the transfer implications from moving to Avada and the Fusion builder? I have hundreds of blog posts and pages on my current site – if moving from avia to fusion will cause all my pages to break and require rebuilding, I might not be able to afford to make the switch.

Each page builder will be making use of its own shortcode to render the page content. This shortcode will not be cross compatible between two builder just like one plugin can not read the shortcode of another plugin (unless it is specifically coded to do that) If the page builder has been used then I am afraid the content will need to be re-made in the fusion builder

Does the Dynamic content feature allow you to create a page template that can be applied to either a page, pages you select, post type, post types you select, or category so you can update this template to update the content this template is applied too?

The dynamic content options allow you add content from a specific part of the page or data field from the page and not the entire page. Seems like what you rather need is a global container. You can make an entire page in a global container and use those global containers on other pages. When the any of the global container is updated, it will update any page that has the same global container

The Lightbox skins can be changed from Avada > Theme Options > Lightbox tab, each skin has its own color and opacity and for further detailed customisation you will need to use custom CSS.

Hello, I have been trying to import the influencer theme with no luck for a week now. I have only been able to import partially due to PHP max limit error. Contacted my server provider and all PHP settings have been updated. Cant seem to figure out with the issue is. All of the other themes work fine. Please help.
