Can i set a category in my gallery to show by default, instead of showing all? Without removing “show all” filter?

Hi there, this is a sales query for a new website as opposed to a support query.
I need a new portfolio website with individual image galleries/slideshows for each category of work that I do. Each category would be accessed via a category landing page with a thumbnail layout e.g. a 4×3 thumbnail grid. When a user hovers over each category thumbnail the category name is revealed. When a user clicks through to the category level I need the ability to display images in a slideshow style – each image having a caption for a description.
It needs to work exactly like the home page (category thumbnail grid) and category level galleries in the following website: https://www.devlinindesign.comIs this possibile? Thank you in advance for your help.

...as long as we can have individual projects and a thumbnail to represent each project then we have a winner.
As mentioned before, we need a hover state on the project thumbnails to reveal each project name. Also, each image in a project would need to to have a caption area for an image description. Similar to the individual project images in the above website.
Can you confirm that this is all possible with Uncode?

You can also have a caption if you use the Page Builder in the single portfolio pages instead of the default module, in a few words you can replace the native image gallery with the Page Builder Media Gallery and here you have also methods to show a caption.

I have the Uncode Child installed, and it says version 1.5.1. Also, it doesn’t even show the option of product registration in the System Status. I do have a license since I purchased the theme, but I don’t know where to insert the code.

My theme was working alright and registered fine, but couldn’t update it to the latest version from 2.1 – which I assume I needed to do as I couldn’t import a demo landing page when I tried to.
I tried to log in and out, different browsers, finally to de-register and re-register and now it’s asking me to contact the theme authors, but I can’t do that via ticket desk since my support’s now expired.
I’ve now been able to update the theme via Envato Market WordPress Plugin, but still can’t re-register my item purchase code. It’s telling me:
“There was an unexpected problem with your Purchase Code verification. Please contact the theme author. (Error 12)”
My support period has expired but I thought my license was one-time purchase?
