How can I make my translations file thefox-nl_NL.po and mo get to work? Loco translate located the file but does’t know what the files are for. I have saved the files in the themes/thefox/lang folder and in the Wordpress languages folder. Can you help me please?

Yes, like you guessed you won’t be able to change the header or footer or the default elements ( modules ) of our themes, but you can build page with elementor without any issue.

Hey, shouldnt this be a header selection so we do not need to continue purchasing support? I feel this should bee doable without that if this theme is to be considered as truly ‘multi-purpose’. Just a thought.

When i add a single image to my page in the CMS the media library isn’t loading. I have disabled all my plugins and the issue persists.
If i swap themes the issue goes away. This has only started to happen since I updated Wordpress on my server 5.3.2
Is this a known issue?

It is strange since we didn’t change anything related to media in our latest updates.

If this is the media not showing up, it is probably something related to ajax.

Hi I have forced regeneration of the thuumbnails and it takes about 10 seconds but the media library finally appears

Hi, my support period is ended but I still can’t translate some strings of the theme like “related projects”, “read more” and others… I tried first with Poedit (found thefox.po, created new language italian, saved .mo and .po file and uploaded in /lang directory) but nothing happens, and then with Loco but can’t find any file to translate with the plugin…

We are using a different framework so that’s why we decided to disable front-end.
We recommend you to use the back-end editor since you might not get the result you see in the front-end editor.

One of my websites were working fine with a license registration code, and all of a sudden it stopped working. It says. “wrong purchase code” – frustrated, I bought a new one and THE SAME thing. Whats going on?

What is version of the theme you are using?
Make sure to update the theme to the latest version, in the old version we used the old envato api which doesn’t work now.

Hi! We have been using TheFox theme for years now, and we just got back from the holidays. When I checked TheFox settings, it says that I need to register the purchase code for us to use it. So I entered our purchase code again, but it won’t accept it and says “The purchase code is wrong.”
I have downloaded the license code and purchase code from our Downloads here in ThemeForest. Not sure why the theme decided to lock us out and not accept our purchase code.

question about social icons..
in the admin tool, we can define social media URLs with for the list of sites like Facebook, etc. What if we have a URL / logo that’s not represented in your list? I would like to either hijack one of the fields you have predefined and just change the logo. however, I can’t figure out where those logos are coming from. any thoughts?

Hi, (no support anymore) I want to translate the theme with Loco translate. I want words like “read more” in the blog translated to Dutch, but the child theme indicates no “read more” string is present. is it defined somewhere else?

You can find the thefox.pot file in the main theme language folder. We are not familiar with Loco translate but with the pot file you should be able to translate the theme.
