Hi guys, how can I fix an SSL error with an image that belongs to the demo select themes? The padlock of this website https://www.bistrobeaute.com/ does not appear properly cause of that. I get this message when I check the ssl website on whynopadlock.com : An image with an insecure url of “http://demo.select-themes.com/bodega17/wp-content/themes/bodega/img/preload_pattern.png” was loaded on line: 768 of https://www.bistrobeaute.com/.

Hi! With Bodega theme, when viewing fermedeserables.com on mobile, the pages title splits on two lines in the middle of the words. What can I do about that? Marie-Eve

You can add this code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

Hi there, it’s now been nearly 10 months since this theme was updated. This is considerably longer than the time between last updates. I know you are saying that COVID-19 has had an impact, and that the theme is compatible with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce, but this really is a far from ideal delay. If you are working on updating all your themes, can you provide any insight as to when you will be getting around to this one? As noted earlier, these delays can impact on us and our clients, so having an update as soon as possible will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Please note that due to safety measures related to COVID-19 the updating of our themes is a bit delayed but please note that we are working really hard on this and that we are constantly working on updating all our themes, however, we can say that the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress as well as it is compatible with the latest WooCommerce as well. You will get this message though but it will not affect the performance of the theme as well as it will be added in the theme’s changelog once the update is out. At the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out.  You will for sure be notified when the theme update is out.

But if you need an immediate update of any of the plugins, please send us a mail to helpcenter@qodeinteracitve.com providing your purchase code in it and one of our support agents will provide you with latest versions.

Please update this wonderful theme? WooCommerce is not working well since updating, the fonts are wrong, the widgets wont appear in the sidebar. I have many other themes that are being updated during this Pandemic. I see many requests for an update in the comments. My sites are working pretty good considering, but these little errors are nauseating for me and my clients. Please let us know when a update will be imminent. TY :)

Hi, I’m having some issues with the Bodega Small Business theme. Tthe menu items are not always working. When I select the different page buttons they just don’t do anything. Is there something conflicting with the buttons? I’ve also found that when I’m editing the Wordpress theme and go to preview the site the wordpress editing tools disappear at the top of the screen. The WP tool bar at the top of the browser isn’t there and I sometimes have to log back into the wp-admin. I’ve never had this issue before with my other Wordpress websites I’ve built. I’ve found this wordpress theme quite glitchy so far. Can you assist me with sorting these issue out? Thanks, Sara

The fullscreen menu is not working in my site: fotogrammicristiani.altervista.org/ I imported demo data from bodega8 and set the fullscreen menu in appearance > menu and in Select options, but nothing appear by clicking the menu icon. How can i solve it?

Sent the e-mail did the suggestion of disable all plugin and clean cache but not solved. Noted that the select search, when the Slide from header bottom animation is selected doesn’t work too. Using wp 5.4 and php 7.3 Thanks for any help and suggestion can give me.

You can try to switch to our parent theme, and not using the child theme, also check your menu as you can only have one menu present on your website. Either full screen or regular, if you intend to use sidearea, please add your widgets to the Sidearea and add Sidearea opener in to the header widget, but best would be to continue the conversation with our support agent that might help you.

Hi, guys. Such a beautiful theme! I’m building a new website on my own, from the Wallpaper demo page. For three years I’ve been doing everything by myself on my other website, whose theme is Simplemag, without any difficulty. However, I’m having problems with the customization of this new website by the Wallpaper demo. Everything is OK with the importation. However, I’m not being successful in applying a welcome text on homepage, for example. Is there any specific documentation (or video) for the Wallpaper demo? Thanks!

Thanks for using our theme! The text is made with Layer slider, and added to the page in form of a slider shortcode. So if you wish to change this you can edit the slider and the text in it.

Hi, guys, I’m so sorry, but I quit. Been trying to customize the theme all week long, but I take one step forward and then go two steps back. It’s too complicated for me, I’m used to deal with simpler themes and classic editors. However, WP Bakery Page Builder and stuff, layers, sliders, using all of these elements it’s not that intuitive. Still no updates for this. Between myself and the companies I work with we have collectively purchased upwards of 15 licenses. The last update was August of last year – so 7 MONTHS AGO !!! I would strongly recommend anyone interested in this AWESOME theme to reconsider until a new update comes along. My guess is they are phasing it out which is a shame as its a really, really great theme. Come on Select, do the right thing, we love ya!

Thanks for the response! Looking forward to the update. Curious – What would happen if i switched a site from Bodega to Stockholm? Would there be much work tweaking to get things looking the same? What would be the result of literally switching the theme?

As these are 2 different themes that use their own theme shortcodes you will have to add your content and arranging it if you do decide to switch theme. So you will need to adjust the content to suit the new theme and the themes shortcodes.

Hi there,

Well if you would like to switch themes, you can for sure do this. Do note to always make a backup of your website first once making those changes. Thought you should know that if you plan to import our demo content it might happen that some of your previously content will get overwritten. So you can always install our theme on your local installation and import the demo content, which you can edit and add your content to the pages of our theme. Once you have finished your new website you can simply migrate the site to your live domain.
