Hi! We have some issues with images on our website and the Uncode Core plugin. Most images have stopped showing on Chrome browsers. We have already checked image permissions and other suggested actions. It could be something to do with plugins. We are getting a fatal error with the Uncode Core plugin. Could these be linked and how to fix this? Our theme is up to date.

Theme is 2.2.6, plugin 2.2.4
As told above the latest version is Uncode 2.2.6 not 2.2.4, please update to this version and update also all the plugins, this fixed the issue with images related to WP 5.3 for all users.
The theme is 2.2.6, for the Uncode Core plugin there is no option for updating any further on Wordpress

First of all, disable ALL extra plugins you have.
Hi! We tested turning off all non-uncode plugins. The problem persists. The image error you mention isn’t because the images don’t exist on the server. They are there on our server. It’s just that chrome isn’t able to see them, which is the plugin/website error. On Safari, for example, you can see this image you link here. The 404 error seems to be caused by the Uncode Core plugin most probably since it’s the only plugin sending out error messages. Let me know if you have any other advice on how to fix it!

Could you explain what you mean by this answer? Since our site is built on Uncode, we have not tried turning off the Uncode Core plugin. We tried turning off the external ones as you suggested. Do you think our site will still work even if we turn off all the Uncode plugins? Are you saying the theme will work even without the core plugin?

You report that the problem is related to Uncode Core plugin, but this is not true, the Uncode Core plugin is not responsible if your images are not visible in Chrome when you access them with a direct link (so we suggest to disable momentary this plugin to check if the images appears in Chrome). featured header image of these posts does not include alt tags we have put. We are trying to have alt tags for all the images on the website. even though we have added them from the backend its not showing on the front nor picking up from alt tags searching software like “screaming frog”

The page options are still reachable but the black small button to ” edit ” the header isn’t there. Never had this before

Hi, probably you have some JavaScript error (probably caused by some extra stuff), anyway, you can find all the Content Blocks in the Content Block menu.
It might be the problem , disabled all non essential plugins . We’ll see

Hello! We’re sorry for the issue, but it doesn’t seem to depend on the theme, it seems an issue to a corrupted version of WooCommerce. WooCommerce, from one of the recent updates, has added a function that calls some files if you have a PHP version later than 5.6. Maybe when you updated WooCommerce the folder containing the new files hasn’t been correctly added to the server. I recommend to deactivate and remove WooCommerce and install it again.

Hi there. Unfortunately my support licence has expired but I own 6 licenses and hope you can help me.
I updated 2 of my sites so far to the latest Wordpress and on both of them the navigation disappears. I ended up restoring one to an old backup in the meantime but I need to fix the issue.
When I inspect the site that still has the issue, the menu does not show up at all in the code though the menu options are still intact in the backend.
I looked at your available patches and cannot see anything about missing menus.
I disabled all the plugins but it made no difference – everything else is up to date.

May I ask you what version of Uncode are you running? Please consider that if updated to WordPress 5.3 you need also to update to the new version of Uncode that is Uncode 2.2.6.
If you updated Uncode to 2.2.6 as well, in this case I can only guess you have a child theme that modifies the menu function. Could you check please?

Aha! So it was the child theme, I was using a very slightly modified header.php which was obviously much different from the header.php in the new update.
Sorry, it didn’t occur to me it was the child because it was across multiple sites, but it makes sense if it’s an php file that I’ve copied into the child theme of both websites.

I’m adding a slider with a couple of images in it to a content block. Although I don’t set any height or padding, when I check the slider in the frontend and resize the window to check how it’s displayed at different widths, some padding-top is added inline dinamically to the uncont class: <div class="uncont" style="padding-top: nnnpx;"><div class="uncode-single-media text-center"> .... </div></div>
Can this padding be disabled?

In the block editor (Gutenberg), it appears impossible to use iLightbox (and PhotoSwipe is a no-no, judging by previous comments).
Apart from the obvious (using VC or the new frontend editor), is there any way to achieve the iLightbox functionality with the Image Block (for example) in Gutenberg?
Hi zakoops! Yes right now iLightbox is a feature of the Page Builder, anyway thank you for the suggestion. With Gutenberg you can find many WP plugins, otherwise, at the moment we can only suggest the HTML code but it’s not scalable as a solution.

Will you update Uncode for latest WooCommerce version anytime soon ? Dashboard message says :
“Your theme (Uncode) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce.”
We have WP 5.3.2 all plugins updated and Uncode 2.2.6 and recently updated to WooCommerce 3.9.1 and are experiencing problems on the checkout page (might not be related).
