Hello. I’d like to add the Uncode splash template to my site so that when people hit my site, they see the splash page first and then click to go onto the home page. However, whenever they click home in the menu or on my logo, they keep going back to the splash page vs. homepage. I assumed that being the splash page is part of the theme, there would be a setting so that users don’t keep going back to the splash page once they click off of it..I know there are plugins and custom code I can write to do this but seems like there is some menu option I can select to make this happen.
Hi hoverabout! I understand what you mean but this is not possible, in fact it’s not one of the advertised features. You need to create some trick since in any WordPress installation the homepage is the first page of the site. Ultimately what you are asking for is not a standard and you must therefore proceed to other solutions. Sorry we can’t help you with that.

Hi hoverabout! No there is not a build-in trick, confirmed! Anyway a quick solution could be to move the installation in a first level folder, so you can create your splash page in the main root.
Ah. That’s a good idea. From all the research I’ve done, seems like there are a few basic solutions…1. Is what you suggested, 2. A lot of people use plugins…I don’t need all of what a plugin offers..as I already have the design…I just need something that will reconfigure the index.html link…3. Some people use a few lines of custom code to get this done…
Have you ever used or what do you think of plugins? I’d rather not introduce anything else into the site that I don’t have to…
Your idea is a good one…doesn’t require a plugin or any additional code…just putting the site in a first level folder….that seems pretty clean…..

Hi. I bought this theme with another Envato account that I cannot connect to because I simply don’t have access to the previous email. I used this theme on my previous website that has also expired 2 years ago. I’m setting a new site for my new company and when I try to enter the registration code, it is not accepted. Uncode doesn’t even allow me to post a request because, my support has expired. I understand that. But does it mean that I can’t use my product anymore because it is still registered in an old website? As I remember I bought a licence for a licence. Not for a couple of months. Why can’t I simply contact the support so they deactivate the code from the older site and allow me to register my new website??
Second support has an expiration period of 6 months that in case can be extended, this is not a rule from our team but it’s the policy for any theme you buy on ThemeForest that you accepted when you bought the theme (after all it is the same as with any type of product, even if you buy a mobile phone or a car the warranty expires and you have to pay for support outside this period, don’t expect to buy a 59$ theme and have lifetime support included): https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy
Last when you buy an item you can use a Purchase Code to build only 1 final website, so if you have already used the Purchase Code multiple times now you cannot use again (in case you can ask to use again if the previous websites are no longer online, but please ask with the same account that bought the theme, as explained this is necessary): https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
Well, I’d love to send a message from the original account. Unfortunately, Envato has created a double authentification per email. And since my domain and email account has expired, I cannot access it anymore. So that is the whole situation problem here as I tried to explain. No I haven’t downloaded a pirate version and I’m happy to share with you all the details of my previous order in private so you can realise that I’m an honest person. The problem is that there is no way to do so in an easy manner and I’m simply lock out of my previous account. Do you get the problem now?

I mean, i have created my new site with your template, and when I open it on the ipad and in other tablets or phablets, I can zoom in or out with my fingers on the screen, and it is NOT fixed (as so in small mobile screens). Even so (in mobile phone screens) sometimes the zoom is ON and it is really anoying. I would like the template stay fixed and stay WITHOUT any zoom / scaling. I dont want zoom. I’m looking for a way to put an individual Content Block before my posts (for each blog category there must be an own content block). Does anyone know how to do this best or an archive page?
I thought about edit the functions.php, where there is a check which blog category is currently open, and then put a filter before the content with the shortcode of the individual content block.
For example: “if category is ‘xyz’, put [uncode_block id=”12345”] before the content”. Is this a smart solution or does anyone have a better, maybe even easier idea?

Hi iamhugo! Not sure this works but probably you can use the Icon Box module, insert a custom image Media and use the Lightbox option here to load the PDF (as told I’m not sure the Lightbox supports PDFs).

Hi ttenhacken! Unfortunately at the moment there is not an option for this, sorry. Tried now with some CSS but it’s not possible. You should use a Child Theme and apply some PHP modifications but it’s not always easy when it comes to menu area. In case this is vital for your project, please open a private ticket so we can support you with this.

Hello, my client requested another font, which I have installed on theme at Fonts Stack from Uncode options. I have changed the font-family for .font-762333 in css file style-custom.css but the outcome is very very weird. On some pages it works, on others is totally another font. The other font is neither Poppings (what previously was) nor Comfortaa (the font that I installed).
I must say that the text that i want to change font is the category name in header, on shop pages.

Note anyway, that style-custom.css is not a file you can edit manually, this is a file generated by Uncode based on the Theme Options, so I strongly discourage to edit it manually. Moreover, some errors are generated by custom codes you inserted as this uppercase text is something custom you inserted manually: https://undsgn.d.pr/PngE6p
I completely understand, believe me I do not want to offend any party, and I always was and still am very pleased with the strong support your team provided me over the time.
But is it a better solution if i add this css code in Dashboard -> Uncode -> Theme Options -> CSS & JS -> at CSS space?
I must say that i cannot change the Font Family from Dashboard -> Uncode -> Theme Options -> Pages -> Header -> Title font family, because in the list it doesn’t show the new font that i have installed (Comfortaa) so i cannot change in that way.
We are just explaining why support is not offered here, we can try if it’s something easy as we do but it’s not possible in all cases. Yes this can be a better solution but from what I can see the problem is that there are codes different codes that have intertwined, believe me without access it’s not easy to help you but there is some confusion that has been created.

Hello, I come back with feedback. The problem is fixed now, I have the same Font Family, all in Uppercase on all shop pages and product categories. There was such a mess on the pages setup that was actually causing this weird outcome, so of course it was my own fault for making a mess.

Hi dtxl! Thanks to the Page Builder you can use plugins in each portfolio, you just need to see if there is a plugin that gives you the possibility to create multiple loops of photos. I don’t know if there is some plugins that can do this. I know there are good plugins that create a feed of Instagram images but probably they only works with a unique loop (like import all your account photos).
Otherwise, you can use the oEmbed feature of Uncode, but this is not a live stream, this is a “manual import” of each photo (so it’s not automatic), and if you use this method is native of Uncode and you can have all the options and layouts of Uncode galleries. No sorry, this is no more possible with the GDPR privacy regulation since to have this feature you need track the user IP to avoid a user can apply the vote multiple times. This was an option until a few years but was removed after the GDPR. In fact for the GDPR the IP is a personal data and you cannot store these datas (or better you store but you need to alert the users, so now its too complicated). I hope this make sense!
