Feature request: Empty space shortcode can we have some extra settings for mobile and tablet?

Empty Space is not the Theme but the WP Bakery element, So please share that Feature Request with WP Bakery element Support, Although, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add such element with Mobile/Tablet settings in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

Hi We have installed Proto theme purchased from Envato on our dev server (hosted in cloudways). We are seeing this error whenever we try to save something on the admin panel editor – Fatal Error: Allowed Memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 75497472 bytes) in home/362290.cloudwaysapps.com/hesxfqxnnm/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4306.

Please check the ‘Show Quantity Input’ under Theme options -> WooCommerce -> Product Archives -> Product Layout.
It displays the quantity box correctly in all archive/categories pages, but when selecting quantity and click on Add to Cart, it always adds 1 only. In product page it works correctly. This was ok before the lat update i think.

I have just tested it in deep and finds the same issue on my test site as well, I am sorry to say that but yes this is an issue in the Theme, I am very thankfull to you for notifying this issue to me, I am forwerding this issue to the development department for testing it in more deep and try to fix it with the upcoming update of the Theme, please be patience till that.

Sorry to say that but no this issue is not solved with the latest update, Actually this is because of the Woo update as well, and we are colaborating with Woo on this issue, they delayed in reply on this, that is the reason it is not fixed with this update but hopefully you will find another update of the Theme with in a week with this issue resolved please be patience till that.

Another issue i ve noticed is with the mini cart. Changes that are applied to products that are already in the cart (like price change), are not shown in the mini cart until add or remove product from there. Changes are not shown even with a page reload.
Please attend those issues asap because they are crusial.

And I have tested the second one and it is working fine at my end, There must be any third party plugin confliction issue at your end, please deactivate all the third party plugins and again check back after removing the browser cache.

As far as the new issue identified, i insist that it’s there. I only have Porto functionality and WooCommerce activated as well as the main theme (not child theme). All are updated to the latest version. Browser, website and cloudflare cache cleared multiple times.
Again, the data of the mini cart items is only shown updates when remove or add items to/from the cart.
What test did you perform on your end? Just add some products in the cart and change the price of one of those products from backend. Then reload your front end page. Does that product’s price change? On my end it does not. It does only when i remove a product from the mini cart or if i add one in. This way the update is triggered.
You are most welcome to investigate on my environment.

This is because Cart works on Ajax and Ajax must need the new Query to run with the new content, So if you already add the product to cart and then change the price from the back end and then again reload the page it will not work until and unless you will not delete and again add the product to Cart, as I explained it works on Ajax and Ajax need a new Query to work with new content or rule.
Hope this is clear now and makes sense.

If a customer has 5 products in the mini cart, and those products prices, names, images etc change, in the mini cart customer will always see the old data unless adding or removing products from mini cart?
If that is the case, then this is not efficient at all.
Data should at least be updated on page reload.
Who would like their customer to see old data

Customer can not be able to change the Price, Image, Content of any product, Only You can change it, and you can not saw the difference on your site only, but the Customer who are accessing your site on any other computer or browser, The Customer will be able to see those changes. Is that make sense now?

Let’s put down a scenario.
I am the website’s admin and i have 3 products: A,B and C.
A= 2 USD B = 3 USD C = 4 USD
Customer puts products A and B in his mini cart but regrets and does not move on.
At that time customer see’s price 2 USD and 3 USD respectively.
Now, me as admin i decide to change the prices and set:
A = 3 B = 4 C = 5
Now, customer visits the website again but he does not do any action in his mini cart but just navigates through the website.
Since he does not “touch” the mini cart in any way(adding,removing products), normally he will still be seeing the old prices (A=2, B=3) right?

This is not a Bug but this is because of the Related Product Long Name in your German Language and also a lot of Related Products which makes Related Products Carousels more dots, Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check your site after removing the browser cache.

This is because of some restrictins from your hosting provider on your site which does not allow your site to communucate with our internal server for Importing the Demo content, Please contact your hosting provider and ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts of server restrictions from your site for a while till you are in the development process and then try to Import the Demo, I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore.
OR
Please try to Import the Demo on any other server on a fresh new WP. You will not finds this issue.

As you know that we have recently added the compatibility of the Elementor plugin with the Theme, So there is no pre-built Demo with Elementor plugin, for now, All the Pre-Built Demo’s are made using WP Bakery plugin, So you can only Customize the Pre-Built Demo’s using WP Bakery plugin and if you want to use Elementor plugin then you have to start from Scratch.
But for your information, we are working on the upcoming Demo’s version, which you will find with the upcoming updates of the Theme and which will we built using Elementor plugins.
Sorry to say that but we have not tested the Theme with a big e-commerce plugin till now so we are unable to suggest you on this but Porto WordPress is fully compatible with WooCommerce plugin.

We have removed the Ultimate Addon For Visual Composer plugin from the Theme since 4.0 release and the elements of ultimate addon which are used ion our demos we added those elements to a new built-in plugin named Porto Functionality. You have to use Porto Functionality Plugin and its element instead of Ultimate Addon.
But if you want to use Ultimate Addon for Visual Composer plugin only, then please wait and be patience, we will update the link soon.
